I always take my 'out-of-town' friends here. It always pleases. The formula makes sense...huge pizza's, unique toppings with great flavours, excellent beer, and incredible soundtracks. I just wish they had a bigger restaurant as 9 times out of 10, you will be queuing up for a seat. But it's worth it.
If you are looking for some amazing pizzas then do visit this place. Delicious pizza with some great toppings. Do try.
Absolutely in love with the freshest dough, ingredients ,platters and pizzas served at this joint . The prices are reasonable, the staff is highly professional and friendly and the service is prompt and punctual always and hygiene is always up to standards too.

A wonderful pizzeria if you all looking for a cheaper option in the Covent Garden area.
At £20 for a pizza and £5 for a pint of beer...we'd come here everyday!!!
We recommend trying out the oxtail with watercress and wild venison with kale pizzas!
Definitely something out of the ordinary!
...and what's even better is that it's located at Neal's Yard...our favourite place in London! 😍
I absolutely loved this place. It has an amazing atmosphere. The staff it's friendly and make you feel like they actually care about you. Good pizza for a decent price. I ordered a slice of mushroom, ricotta, pumpkin seed and chili. That's very different from everything I've ever tried but it's a good combination.

The over all quality of food was good . And the staff service is also nice .it was hygene place where you can easily. And most important thing the prices of different varietues of food was not high.please do visit to take fun of food here
Definitely one of the Top 5 Pizza places in the world. Though they have limited vegan options..hope they add few more vegan options and that wll sure increase vegan customer base. We had to search for a while but managed to find the plc. Pls take my suggestion seriously to add few more unique vegan options.
Had a great time here, it was right next to our apartment and we ate here twice in a weeks time. I loved the pizza it was amazing. The pepperoni was delicious and they are generous with the Parmesan.
Seriously fabulous pizza, in my travels I feel I am always on a quest to find great pizza. Mission Accomplished!
The restaurant is in the quirky Neals Yard and the dining area is a small room with a bustling atmosphere. The pizzas have an extremely thin crust which have a melt in the mouth quality. The pizzas are big and good value but most importantly they taste great.
And you can ask to combine two flavours...
Preferring for pizza lovers...

Get ready to wait and be queued for some amazing pizza tasting. Homeslice in the Neal's yard at Covent Garden is a spot for good conversations over pizza and a beer.
They have the option of a huge pie as well as they serve by the slices. I tried the one with mushrooms, ricotta, pumpkin seeds and chilly flakes on a barbeque sauce base. I have never had a pizza like this before.
However, non vegetarians have a plethora of options to choose from. I did the take away option since a waiting of half an hour was going on. Prior reservations are sugegsted.
Have been there last week.. we ordered some cocktails and eatable items (salami, rocket).. ambiance was amazing and service was upto the mark.. quality and quantity received as we expected.. restaurant have to improve things in taste wise otherwise good place to enjoy.
I couldn’t leave London without trying this place since it was one of the top 10 places to go to for pizza, and I was not disappointed! I tried a margherita slice and loved it so much that I came the next day and brought my friends with me to try it as well! They loved it! Highly recommended!
we were strolling around covent garden passing the seven dials and went through neal’s yard. accidently, we wanted a slice of pizza just to refresh ourselves. turns out Homeslice offer one of the best mushroom pizza. we regret that we order only a slice. definitely coming back for the whole pan. the lager’s a nice touch to this afternoon.
Great pizzas. Probably the best I have eaten anywhere. The restaurant has a great vibe, always busy, but the wait is worth . The pizzas are huge, have great taste and aren’t expensive. Definitely a restaurant that I recommend!
Absolutely love the mushroom pizza, can’t get enough of it. I think it can easily be made vegan bu skipping the cheese (which is what I am going to do next time, because, believe me, this pizza is so tasty it doesn’t need cheese), in fact I think almost every pizza can be made veggie or vegan, but if you are a veggie please do try this one. The pizzas are big (20”) and cost 20£ (I would say one pizza is enough for two people) definitely worth for the taste. The service is good and the restaurant is usually busy.
Victim of their success this restaurant is always fully booked and you need patience to get a table but the wait is totally worthy, I never had such giant and excellent pizza like there, plus the topping are unusual and various, don't miss it if you are in London!
Quick. Easy to eat. Big. Comforting. Tastes good.
These pizzas are quite addictive, and love how homeslice makes those all you can eat events now and then which is a plus
The downside is, it’s not really a comfortable place to sit, if you pay per slice it’s expensive and they don’t have that many veggie options. They have a couple but that’s not really enough. They could just have some simple veggie options as well in my opinion.
This is definitely one of the best pizza places in London. Good atmosphere, Quick, tasty and world class. Excellent location, will easily become your next favorite pizza spot.
Fiyatlar uygun. Ben müdavimiyim size de tavsiye ederim.
This lovely outlet is tucked in a corner @ oh so pretty Neal's Yard in Seven Dials.. after spending an awesome winter afternoon exploring the pretty neighborhood (read shopping 🤣🤣) checked into this place for some pizza and beer.. we ordered a half and half and were greeted with this huge pizza.. absolutely fresh, cheesy, hot and mothwatering good stuff.. enjoyed the pizza with some beer on tap..highly recommend this place if you are in mood for a pizza while exploring this neighborhood
Amazing pizza place. Bustling with energy and full of people. Could not get a table inside thus decide to takeaway pizza slices. Such a beautiful gourmet premium pizzas. The dough tasted fantastic. Thin, crisp and cheesy. The toppings were delicious.
Brilliant. Excellent 20 inch pizzas. We waited an hour to get a seat here but it was totally worth-it. You can split the Pizzas with two different choices. When in Soho this place is a must!!
Food was great, just wished they had the option to order smaller portions. Loved the atmosphere, service was good. Definitely would come back!
Fantastic pizza and great atmosphere in the space. I liked the no fuss approach I.e just pizza, simple wines. We went at lunch and we did feel a little rushed to leave but that's understandable. Waitstaff were friendly and helpful. Great lunch!
Ok officially my favourite pizza place in London. Hidden in Neal's yard this place is always busy and has queue. You pay per slice £4 and each slice is quite filling. Unfortunately they are not halal so have to settle with the vegetarian option of Margherita or mushroom (excellent). I understand they have new vegetarian options on the menu which I can't wait to try. Highly recommend this place even if you just want a snack to take away and explore the streets nearby.
Malzemeler gayet taze. Siparişlerinizi yedikçe verin soğuyunca aynı hazzı alamıyorsunuz. 2 dilim pizza ve 1 half beer 9 pound. Dilimler oldukça büyük. Pfff canım çekti gene 😍😋
We went in right after finishing watching the Aladdin show. It's a nice little spot that is open late and has very friendly and nice staff. Not to mention, the pizzas are super delicious!!
The pizzas are absolutely delicious, certainly some of the best I've had in London. One pizza is more than enough for two, or even better, go in a group and order a few so you can all taste the different flavours. The lack of cutlery doesn't make it the most glamorous of restaurants but... if all you want is a great pizza meal this is the place to go!
This is the best pizza I've had in London, complete with a vibey atmosphere and friendly service. You can't make a reservation so getting a table may be a bit of a wait, but well worth it. The menu is small and inspiring - I went for the veal pizza, 20 inches of course, which was exceptional and the house red wine, which was lovely and reasonably priced. A great spot for dinner with friends.
Best pizza ever !
Found this place randomly. Completely packed luckily we managed to get a table after a long wait. Pizza was delicious - base was thin an toppings were Devine. Well priced and huge pizzas - absolutely loved it! The missus does not like pizza but was won over after an evening at Homeslice, Ah Yeah!!
One of the best pizza I've eaten in the world. The taste and the quality is fantastic. Being a vegetarian, the topping options are limited for me but it didn't seem like a problem here because they have a lot of vegetarian variety as well and the combinations work beautifully
A must visit place
Noisy and crowded. Prepare for oily hands, but the pizza... totally worth it. Get ready for the wait, though. Great for groups, if you can manage a table.
Best pizza ever! Super tasty, nice environment, friendly staff. Wine arrived in this gigantic bottle, you only pay for the amount you drink....well, we drunk it all and was good fun! Great Sunday lunch with fiends.
Fast and very attentive service, with the great option of having only a slice instead of a whole pizza. The location is magical and the price is surely friendly. They also offer a bottle of water with your meal.
20 inch boyutunda dev pizzalarıyla aklımı basımdan alan covent garden'ın en tatlı ara sokağında bulunan mekan. Servis kalitesi de oldukça iyiydi.
Awesome new toppings on the thing clust pizzas! Watch out theyre huge! But very yummy. Great concept and cute little place in an adorable area in covent garden!
The pizzas here are beautiful! I mean this both visually as well as taste-wise. The portions are huge, so order with caution! You can however order by the slice (if you're in a small group or not super hungry). They also let you do half-and-half, so you can enjoy different flavors.
We ordered half margarita and half salami rocket. The base was amazingly soft and the flavors just perfect. I'm sort of still thinking about that pizza to be honest!
Giant pizza!! Great to go with a group of friends. Wood fired oven. Many great options, for all tastes. Not overpriced and highly recommended.
Pizza, so simple, yet so difficult to get right. These guys have it right. While their offerings may not be traditional, their unique topping combinations provide a vividly new pizza experience. Waiting time was an hour plus on Friday evening, but luckily they had a free table for two outside. Ordered the aubergine and goat shoulder 20inch. It might be huge, but it is ridiculously easy to get through. Base is thin and well prepared in the wood fired oven. The sauce on the aubergine was incredible and the spice really set it off. Both were light with a perfect balance of flavours. Service was excellent and someone would come outside frequently to make sure everything was OK, so we didn't feel neglected at all. Highly recommend a visit.
Great pizza, great service, great presentation. I suggest you order red wine and basically any pizza they have, and don't go alone as the portions are huge! Definitely one of the best spots in Covent Garden.
With a wait for a table on a Saturday afternoon close to an hour, you know Homeslice is going to be good. The twenty inch pizzas are a well constructed balance of thin, fire-kissed crust with smatterings of fresh, clean toppings. We smashed it. Calabrese peppers give spice and heat and the chervil cuts through with a grassy notes softened by the melted knobs of Linconshire poacher cheese. Rocket, salami and parmesan, simple and effective. If you want overly-cheesed American style pizza, move on. Homeslice isn’t for you.
Super vibe, great pizza made in a wood fired oven and cool pay as you drink wine concept we ordered the 20" option, half anchovies with caramelized onions, half salami with rocket and parmesan... Both excellent (salami a bit too salty)
5/5 for me.... Highly recommended.
Stay hungry my friends!
Pizza is one of my favourite foods so I was more than keen to try this place. As expected upon arrival there was a wait but their system is for you to leave a number and they will call you when the table is ready. I always find this more convenient! The menu is simple but fantastic. We opted for 2 different toppings and when the pizza came it smelt delicious! One half was pulled pork brisket with pickles and the other anchovy, olives and caramelised onions. They were both super tasty but I preferred the latter. The caramelised onions complemented the anchovies perfectly which kept them from being too salty. There wine is also on a pay as much as you drink system. Which is great because you don’t have to wait for service but also deadly as there is a large bottle of wine sitting at your table (it’s all about control I suppose)!
I can’t wait to come back and try the rest of their menu.
The weather in London was exceptionally fantastic-o, and so we went to Neal's Yard, this bright and vibrant alleyway near just off Monmouth Street. Because the coffee queue on Monmouth's was too long, as always. Plus it was lunch time. We hesitated over Homeslice and Raw Food Cafe, but Homeslice won, because our stomachs needed filling, and look at the size of this thing!
Last TGIF called for pizza. Having frequently raved about Homeslice and promising some of my work friends that I would introduce them to the holy grail, there seemed to be no time like the present last Friday evening (despite that work was hosting a pizza party of its own… but it was of the inferior Papa John’s kind).
Absolutely delicious! Amazing Napoli style pizza with modern western flavourful toppings as well as traditional toppings. Ingredients tasted fresh and quality. Was a little obnoxiously busy but that's just what it is when you have food this tasty which is so quick and fairly priced. Would definitely return
Not really a big fan of pizzas but these woodfired pizzas are unique. Definitely one of the best pizzas I've ever had! Btw the pizzas are quiet big!
Boasting a bespoke hand-built wood-fired oven, the rustic restaurant in Neal’s Yard has developed quite the cult following for its thin-dough pizzas, served up by the slice (albeit pretty large ones) or in a mammoth 20″ form, with a “half and half” option if you can’t decide from the enticing flavours on offer. My favourite has to the tomato-less artichoke & courgette. The delicate ribbons of the said veggies lend a subtle but sharp foil to the garlicky white-sauce base, making for a scrummy lunch, devoured all too quickly.
I came here with a few friends and I must say the pizza was great. We ordered 2 big pizzas for the four of us and we were stuffed. Pizzas are thin but could have a bit more ingredients, specially cheese! Staff was very friendly!
We went early as we know that the tables book up fast and were told we had an hour wait and they would call us when we have a table...this wasn't bad as we went for a drink, however we went back after an hour and a bit with no call and were told to wait another half an hour. At this point I wasn't very impressed as I had previously heard great reviews. The manager was extremely apologetic and went on to give us a glass of wine and a slice on the house. In saying that the food was unbelievable and we enjoyed every minute which made us forget about the long long wait. We will go again but will be sure to go extra early!;)
For a Moroccan-inspired dip that gives good flavour mileage, simply mash a boiled sweet potato and put in the blender with a splash of cream, two cloves of minced garlic, hearty shake of cumin and smoky paprika. Blend away and that's it. Delicious, dippy goodness. For extra domestic goddess points, knock up some homemade crackers with 200g plain flour, 50g cubed butter and 4 or so tablespoons of water. Rub butter into flour and add water to form a sticky dough. Roll out to as thin as possible, slice up and sprinkle with freshly cracked pepper and sea salt. Bake for 15 minutes in a 160 degree oven.
This is a fun and sociable joint and a great spot to meet friends in the heart of Covent Garden. The pizza options, whilst not extensive, are creative and super tasty! Between four of us we had one large pizza, half of which was salami, rocket and parmesan and the other half was the pulled BBQ brisket. All of this was joyfully washed down with the prosecco on tap. Lovely jubbly! Given that I now live in Johannesburg, I love being a tourist in my own city and eating great food somewhere new.
I have been on the hunt for a decent Chicago style deep pan pizza in London for the last few months and I keep coming up empty handed (get in touch if you have a secret spot). So failing that I have been getting up to speed on the best pizzas in London. Homelike has been on the radar for a while but since moving into a new area and exploring it I haven’t had the chance to check out places more central until now.

I meant to get more photos of the place, the menu, etc. but I was too hungry for that to happen. Instead, you get a series of unadulterated pizza pics. You're welcome. Homeslice is a hugely hyped-up place, and with good reason - the typical 1.5-2 hours queue for a weekday dinner speaks for itself. The good thing about Homeslice is that you don't actually have to stand there whilst you wait, which is a big bonus in my opinion. You can turn up, give them your number, and they'll call you when a table frees up. If you're ravenous and can't wait a minute longer, you can take away pizza by the slice, which is also a good option.
Beginning life as a hand-built wood fire oven serving up pizzas in the courtyard of an East London brewery, Homeslice has grown up in a big way opening their first permanent home in Covent Garden's Neal's Yard.
Though the home has changed, little else has as they continue to serve delicious pizzas which focus on the best seasonal produce the UK has to offer.
That in itself may not sound overly impressive - seasonal pizzas in London are a dime a dozen; but are all of them a whopping 20"?!? I don't think so; that is the Homeslice appeal.
I came with high expectations having heard nothing but good reviews but remained sceptical; so many times, places mask average food with just sheer quantity. I prayed this wasn't the case - and my prays were answered.
The toppings on offer tonight all sounded amazing and with no less than 10 different pizzas on the go, making a decision was going to be tough. Thankfully, Homeslice allows 50/50 pizzas which meant we could work our way through:
- goat shoulder, savoy cabbage and sumac yogurt;
- anchovy, caramelised onion and kalamanta olive;
- braised brisket and pickles on BBQ base;
- celeriac, asparagus, cows curd and roasted hazelnut;
- corn, chorizo and coriander; and
- margherita.
Each flavour combination was excellent and showcased Homeslice's ingenuity. The dough however showcased Homeslice's skill - perfectly fluffy and with just enough resistance to the bite, it was enough to have on its own and in some respect, I did as I consumed all my fellow diner's left crusts shamelessly.
At £20 for a pizza, a meal at Homeslice not only proves delicious but affordable. If half a 20" pizza proves too daunting a task, pizza also comes by the slice (£4). Either way, come hungry.

Amazing pizza! Worth the queue. What I usually do is put my number down and go to a pub around the corner it makes the time go by much faster. The people are awesome very polite, patient, helpful and will try to accommodate your requests. Get the brisket and the caprese toppings 👌👌👌👌
Always great pizzas. The flavours are amazing and the combinations just work always. The dough is a step above from anywhere else with a salty flavour. Then there is the size of the pizza. One £20 pizza is definitively enough for three people and will make you feel very happy.
Not much description is needed for this place hidden in a corner of Neals Yard in Covent Garden. The food and concept is brilliant. I loved it, you will too. The pizzas are big, really big. They do about 3 or 4 by the slice, but the rest are ordered as a whole pizza or you can do half and half. There were such interesting toppings on offer. They come out on a massive board and are positioned in the centre of the table. You all get a paper plate, and there are much needed napkins on the tables. We went for the courgette and artichoke and rocket and salami. Both delicious and it would be hard to pick a favourite, but I think the veggie one might have won. It was just so garlic-y and smooth. I normally love extra tomato on my pizza so it must have been really very good for it to be the winner! Next time I definitely want to try the chorizo, corn and coriander and the oxtail and horseradish cream pizzas.
With a wait for a table on a Saturday afternoon close to an hour, you know Homeslice is going to be good. The twenty inch pizzas are a well constructed balance of thin, fire-kissed crust with smatterings of fresh, clean toppings. We smashed it. . Calabrese peppers give spice and heat and the chervil cuts through with a grassy notes softened by the melted knobs of Linconshire poacher cheese. Rocket, salami and parmesan, simple and effective. If you want overly-cheesed American style pizza, move on. Homeslice isn't your bitch.
Tonight myself and a friend visited Homeslice Pizza which lives in Neal’s Yard, Covent Garden – it’s first permanent home. Originally a regular stall seen at London street markets, pizza purveyors Homeslice have followed the well established trend and set up their first bricks and mortar restaurant.
A well deserved 5 points. This is the best pizza place in London. Amazingly tasty stuff. Salami and chorizo are my favorites. Treat yourself, eat Homeslice.
Homeslice is my favourite pizza EVER. As in EVER. They make delicious pizzas that you can buy by the slice or as a whole 20" pizza that you can split in two to try two different topping options. I've been a number of times and although you will always have to queue (because the place is so damn GOOD), you can leave your name and go for a drink and they will call you when your table is ready and, when they do, be prepared to eat the most delicious pizza in the wooooorld. The place is super informal and cosy and it's all about communal dining and sharing. The oxtail, horseradish & cream and the goat shoulder, sumac & kale (+ aubergine) were my favourite of the topping combos I've tried (mind blowingly good!). The service is great and friendly and it's quite simply and all round MUST! God I can't wait to go back next Friday! You can read my full review on my blog :)
have always heard from my friends that you can't say I've eaten a "Real" pizza unless you tried it in Italy! Sad story is I never been to Italy & droll whenever i remember the photos they've showed me; Until one day in the vibrant Neal's yard ally located in covent garden i have tried HomeSlice.
Yes, i never been to Italy; Yes, i never tried their coal oven pizza; But! what i had here blown my palate away!
Small & cozy pizzeria with a chilled vibe will never fail for what they offer; Thin, lightly charred, wood-fired crust; You will definitely be eating the pizza messily and hopefully with a plentiful amount of tissues on hand, but isn't that how you should eat it?
You can either grab a slice to-go from their counter or enjoy one of their 20 inch pizza's; This time again went for the margarita & tried out the mushroom ricotta, pumpkin seed, and chilli slice. Was a bit pessimistic about the mushroom ricotta, but again it never failed to taste delicious! Now regardless, what kind of pizza you might appeal too i promise it will hit your sense of satisfaction.
Final verdict: I have shorten my review for i won't stop writing about their mouthwatering pizza's; Well actually thinking about it there aren't enough words in the English language to describe how good Homeslice is!
Loved this place. Unpretentious setting, the owner aremixing up the pizza topping combos and friendly staff delivering swift service.
It hands on (here's your enormous delicious pizza, two cardboard plates, pizza cutter and the hooch...and commence feeding) but the place feels intimate and welcoming. My friend and I had a blast and a laugh with the manager over a pint of prosecco.
Yeah there's not much you can tinker with and the pizzas are set toppings...but actually just go with it..
If you want big flavours on a pizza in a relaxed environment this is your place.
Homeslice is ultimate pizza heaven for me. Their pizzas are enormous & extraordinarily thin with a doughy crust; the toppings are creative and delicious; the staff are energetic and friendly; the place has a great buzz; and it’s totally affordable. You can’t really ask for more from pizza or eating out in central London!
A small post for a small restaurant that serves one of the largest, if not, the largest pizzas in London. This pizzeria is already very well known amongst the people in their low-mid twenties, serving American style pizza with wood-fired ovens, hand tossed, and homemade. A very trendy place, very pub-like, with beers and drinks accompanied with pizzas in abundance, loud music that fills the room and almost 90 minute queues to get in for a slice, this restaurant sure knows how to pull people in.
Hidden on Neal's yard near Covent Garden. This new restaurant Homeslice is perfect if you like pizza. The atmosphere is friendly and simple, there is benches and simple tables, food is served on a kind of wood plate (if you order a whole pizza) or a paper plate! They serve massive pizza (£20) or you can also choose for some of them to order just slice (£4). The menu is a bit small, but I presume it is because they just open. I checked their Twitter account since that and they have already add a duck pizza...so follow @HomesliceLDN for updated menu. The board menu sounds good so it's hard to choose. (It took me 5 minutes to decide what I wanted...) I saw some whole pizza on table around me and I though they were massive, a bit too much for my small apétit! So I ordered 3 slices of three different pizza. All of them were good, my favourite was the Finocchiona & rocket, in second position the courgette and artichoke and in third position the marguerita. The only problem was the cookin
London is now happily brimming with delicious, informal and affordable pizza places and Homeslice is the latest offering. Homeslice originally started life as a mobile wood-fired oven in the courtyard of London Fields Brewery and two years later it's relocated to Neil's Yard. I visited early on a week night and the place was already bursting at the seams, which meant cozying up to two strangers in order to get a table. It's has the intimate, elbow-to-elbow seating that's become the norm in many
The other side of the pizza took richness to a new level. I don't think I have even seen so much bone marrow on a dish, well, a menu item, you know what I mean. The combination of flavours and textures was phenomenal; the chewy dough, melty bone marrow, tangy watercress, crunchy spring onion and the tone from the bovine grease - boom!
Located in quirky Neal's Yard, exists the biggest pizza I have ever seen! No really...it's HUUUGE! Homeslice is a cute little joint that exclusively serves pizza. Their menu isn't very extensive, however there's still enough options to satisfy all tastes. At first the idea of finishing a whole pizza even with the help of a couple of friends can seem impossible...but it can be done! The pizza crust is super thin and crispy, the way traditional Italian pizza should be! And it's all pretty affordable too.
I love this concept. I would love to bring this back to Delhi. It's 1,000 square feet and 49% of it is an open kitchen. Seating for maybe 30 people and you basically sit wherever there is space. You have two options. Pizza by the slice or a 20 inch monster pizza! Unfortunately there are only 3 choices for pizzas by the slice. And all this is written on a chalk board in the front. The pizza comes in paper plates - and as far as I could tell there was no cutlery. Haha. But none of that mattered when the food finally arrived. Wow! Wow! Wow! the pizza Mandira ordered had pumpkin seeds garnished on it. How unusual. It totally worked. We were in and out of this place in 20 min or so. Gonna go again.
Like many, I've eaten a lot of pizza in London, and Homeslice in simply the best in town. For those of you who haven't been, Go! No, read this first and then go. They serve mouthwatering 20 inch pizzas, perfect between three people...or two if you're feeling extra greedy.
All the incredibly inventive topping combinations I've tried have been out of this world, but I'm particularly fond of the mushroom, ricotta and pumpkin seed.
The wine (pretty mediocre) is served by the magnum and once you're done, they measure how many glasses you've had and charge you accordingly. Unfortunately, you end up spending far more on wine than you anticipated because it's hard to keep an accurate track of your consumption.
The atmosphere is brilliant: really buzzy with super friendly staff milling about. You can't book but you leave your number with them so they can call when they're ready for you. I've only ever had to wait for around thirty minutes but with a pub around the corner, this has never been a problem.
Cannot recommend this place enough.
I'm always cautious when I hear about a supposedly good pizza place. Pizza is by far my favourite food so I take this stuff seriously. I must say though, the pizza was excellent. Freshly made, and very tasty. I would have to recommend the salami, rocket & parmesan pizza. Perhaps not the best pizza I've ever had but I'd consider putting it on a short-list.
Just for the record, pizza is not by any means my favourite food - some of my best reviews on zomato just happen to be for pizza haunts, but that is probably because I do a lot of research before wasting money and calories on pizza, and therefore my pizza reviews are bound to have a bit of a head start.
Anyway disclaimer aside. I had heard great things from this place, and could not wait to test it out. The idea is you share a humungus 20" with a buddy, with at least 2 varieties - in case you can't reach a consensus. The pizza is truly delicious with awesome topping combos and you won't leave feeling really bloated because the base is not at all heavy.
You have to have to HAVE TO order some wine from here as well, simply due to the novelty of pay as you go vino - a magnum arrives at your table and you pay what you've drunk at the end, according to the wooden ruler. This requires a large amount of discipline I tell ya (especially on a Monday night). However, this really helps to wash the dough down, speaking of which, you won't be down on monetary dough at the end of the evening because the menu is really reasonable.
Perfect pre or post theater meal of fantastic pizza!
We were looking for somewhere to have a quick drink before a show in the West End and happened to stumble across this place. I love pizza, a lot, so this place looked incredible!! The pizzas are actually ridiculously big and would comfortably feed 2-4 people depending how hungry you were. We unfortunately didn't have time to sit down and dine and there was only two of us so we didn't want to order such a monstrosity of a pizza. I ordered one slice though just so I could play judge and it was delicious! Very authentic Italian pizza with a nice thin base and tomato sauce bursting with flavor.
We just came for a glass of wine so we sat on the little wooden stools and tables out the front which was quite pleasant and a bit more peaceful than inside which was packed. The wine list consists of red or white wine. That's all. Which i thought was quite fun. It comes served in a litre bottle which you then drink as much as you like from and then they measure it at the end to see how much to charge. Strange concept and I wasnt quite sure how it would work. They actually bring out a ruler at the end and figure it out. Again very strange but quite a quirky way of serving the wine. I just wanted to know the whole time what they do with the rest? Just refill it? I guess it is a very good selling technique as you will never have to wait to be served more wine therefore you would probably drink more with out even realising it.
All in all a good experience, the waiter was friendly the service quick. Need to go back asap to get stuck into one of the 20" pizzas!!
I recently visited Homeslice for the first time and I already can’t wait to go back! I stumbled upon the restaurant with my boyfriend while searching for a place to eat in Covent Garden; as soon as we saw it…smelt it, we stepped straight through the door with no hesitation! Inside, you instantly feel welcome. The small team of young staff are buzzing around with twenty inch pizzas upon their shoulders and guests are digging in whilst taking photos of their meals ready for Instagram! I personally couldn’t wait to get stuck in.
As soon as we arrived the staff were very attentive and friendly, you couldn’t fault their service throughout the whole meal. We couldn’t get a table for an hour as it was bustling with customers and so we booked one for later on. They offered to take our phone number and call us when a table became free any sooner than our booking, a service I have never been offered before, especially in the middle of such a busy shift!
When we were seated we were instantly greeted by a smiley waitress who explained how Homeslice worked. It’s so simple yet exciting, matching its décor and overall vibrancy. You choose your pizza toppings from a blackboard list of topping combinations entirely using seasonal vegetables and meats. The menu is interesting, offering unusual combinations and toppings that little other pizza places offer such as pumpkin seed, cows curd, cauliflower cheese, goats shoulder, oxtail and scallops! You can choose to ‘half and half’ your pizza, accommodating everyone at your table! And walla pizza ordered! Next…drinks! Not a huge range, a few draught lagers and an interesting wine service. You get given a huge cravat of your choice of wine and a small glass
with a line around the circumference. They measure how much you drink, so every time you fill to the line you drink approximately £5! Fun, informal and relaxed but a clever way of making money out of customers.
Finally, the pizza…I loved it! They taste amazing! I think this was due to a combination of tasty flavours and the novelty of eating such a huge pizza! The only thing I think people may not like is how salty the base and crusts are. They pride themselves on their pizza bases, but if you’re not a salt lover it could be too much.
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my evening at Homeslice! The atmosphere is fab due to the close knit, small space which comes alive when jam packed with pizza lovers! The menu is innovative and concise, challenging your taste buds, and finally the actual pizzas are so satisfying, twenty inches of deliciousness for £20 (maybe we would have got more for our money if we weren’t so greedy and saved some for lunch the next day instead)! I know I will definitely return and so I fully recommend visiting this perfect date spot and family location.
I have been there today for the first time after noticing the place a couple of weeks ago.
We ordered a 20" pizza to share (in 2) and it was enormous...
Even though the pizza is big, it it really thin with a lot of fillings and the crust is soft, so it was enough for 2 people (we were hungry:-)
The restaurant is small and you could have your own or communal table.
My favourite pizza half (yes you can order two halves!) was ricotta pumpkin seeds, mushroom and truffle - so yummy!!
Good value for money, I will come back!
In a nutshell: Decent pizza in a relaxed environment.
Despite accidentally shouting “What’s hanging homeslice?” in a shockingly poor American accent as I walked through the door, I still enjoyed my visit to Homeslice. Once I'd hidden in the corner for a while.
The décor is nice and I think ‘nice’ is the best word for it. Some school-esque coat hooks on the walls, church pew benches, couple of faux vintage mirrors, the odd chalk menu board. But it does have lovely high ceilings, so there’s a very welcome sense of space – it feels relaxed, which is always good for pizza place.
Homeslice does 20” pizzas (which I’ll definitely try on my own at some point – challenge accepted.) but my girlfriend and I have a couple of the £4 single slices with some of the on-tap frizzante wine. The big pizzas have some ‘interesting combinations, with two in particular catching my eye for future reference: Haggis, leek & ogleshield (apparently it’s a kind of cheese) and pulled pork, mint & walnut pesto.
But the slices we went for, and what we thought of them, were:
- Courgette and artichoke, with a white sauce base - the garlic of the white sauce pretty much overpowered the others flavours, but I like garlic, so I really enjoyed it
- Salami and rocket, on a tomato base - very nice. Tasty and fresh. A solid thin-crust pizza, but perhaps a little light on ingredients.
The frizzante was good – light, sweet, and went perfectly with the pizza. And the glass was full to the top. Vital!
Overall, I actually really like Homeslice. A fairly vanilla setting, but it’s so nice to be somewhere that feels light and spacious for once. The food? Tasty and pretty reasonably priced. The service? That’s something that Homeslice does really well. Polite, friendly, helpful, and efficient throughout, and service wasn’t added to the bill automatically – a small but nice change. Plus, we were automatically given a bottle of tap water as soon as we sat down. Civilised.
I’ve used words like ‘nice’ in this review, that’s exactly what I’ll want every so often, and Homeslice delivers.
Decent place for a pizza. Tucked in a nice location in the Seven Dials which makes it easy to miss but well worth going if only for the novelty of a large pizza. Good to share with friends too, so going in a group is recommended.
-Food: PIZZA! Perhaps the best one I have had in London to date! They only serve pizzas but they serve them right! Very large and thin with a thick crust and some nice rock salt bits. I recommend the one with courgettes its just perfect! Don't be too conventional with your choices they have exciting things going on!
and most of all enjoy!
Atmosphere/Seating: I have never had to queue but I heard it gets really busy sometimes. Very laid back and fun place! Might be a bit loud but its part of the whole atmosphere.
Location: In Covent Garden, not hard to find! Perfect to go to anytime of the day!
Bon Appetit!
Without doubt my favourite pizza place in London.
First they hit the ground running, you can't book but they take your name down so you can go off and have a drink before they call you when you're half a pint in.
Then you see the pizzas and quite like Voodoo Ray's they are massive, they are as big as your head if you had an unusually large head. Perfect for sharing as you usually choose a to split the toppings by half of the pizza. I got the Caprese on one half and then I don't remember the other, but the caprese was so good I'd recommend it just for that.
Best thing about Homeslice? Because the portions are so big you can roll up a slice, pop it in your pocket and eat it on the tube before the oil stains your jeans.
I'm starting to miss the ability to book a table in restaurants. Once upon a time, securing a table in a popular restaurant meant booking your place, which meant friends with particularly poor timekeeping were forced to make an effort.
Today we turn up as planned at a crowd-beating half past six. Homeslice is half-filled with a charming (but knowingly hip) bunch. Our friends, unfortunately are not on time. We go away, find the only pub in Seven Dials (an awful place on the corner opposite Urban Outfitters), and return when they arrive. The place is heaving.
We manage to sneak a space for four, assymetrically slotted between other groups. A few of the pizzas here are available as single (massive) slices for four pounds. The majority come exclusively on 20 inch bases, though these can be split half and half in perhaps the only similarity Homeslice has with Domino's.
We buy one 20 inch pizza between the four of us, though I'd rather have shared one of them between two. A salami and rocket topping makes the most of its half, flavoursome meat paired with the peppery leaves. The outright favourite is a chorizo, sweetcorn and coriander mix. The meat oozes juices across the cream-based sauce, and the coriander throws hints of citrus into the mix. It's outstanding, and I could have eaten far more. The only shame is the limited menu - pizza, pizza, a house wine, a beer on tap, lemonade, pizza. But it's hard to fault a company who stock only what they know purely because they know it better than almost anyone else.
I love this place. Great, laidback vibe and really friendly staff to go with it. Everyone is really approachable and easy to talk to. The openness of the place and the concept of the sharing tables (which is seen across most of Neal's Yard) makes conversation with absolute strangers easy and natural. I really like their selection of beers and the music is usually well-picked too. The pizzas are topnotch. Good value for money and quite filling. Great place to hang out in the evenings for a couple of hours without noticing the time go by. Definitely do stop by if you're in the area.

Homeslice Neal's Yard is a great pizzeria. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The pizza is delicious with crispy crust. The staff are polite and attentive. I highly recommend it for a tasty and pleasant dining experience.
Great pizza with unique toppings, highly recommended , get half and half so you can try two flavours.mushroom and truffle pizza is a “must” to try.

Will I go again: Yes
Food : 10/10
Service : 8/10
Value for money : 8/10
Price: £50 for two
Dined at Homeslice and was thoroughly impressed!
We tried the half-n-half - Margherita on one side and Mushroom Ricotta on the other. Both were a harmonious blend of flavours, every bite a symphony in the mouth – the classic Margherita, bright and fresh, and the Mushroom Ricotta, creamy and robust.
The ambiance of the place complements the food, creating a cozy atmosphere that invites you to slow down and savour each bite. The staff deserves a special mention for their gracious hospitality. Homeslice promises an Italian escapade you don't want to miss!
Homeslice Neal’s Yard: Quick Stop for Pizza
Homeslice Neal’s Yard is a good spot to drop by for a quick pizza bite. Generally, the ingredients are fresh and tasty. The portions are large, so it’s advisable to share between two people. I expected the crust to be a bit crisper; the dough wasn’t quite to my liking.
Insanely large pizza!! Good to share within 3 people. The wood fired oven makes the pizza base divine . Toppings were unique but unfortunately not very generous. A bit oily too.
Staff was amazing! Hardworking bunch of people, all young and happy!
Had an amazing time here! The service was great and the pizzas huge for a very reasonable price. The filtered bottled water was really inexpensive as well. Shared the pizza with my boyfriend because it was so big and it filled us both up! One of the best pizzas I have ever had. Definitely recommend
A nice pizzeria that serves some amazing Pizza slices and full sized pizzas. The menu has an eclectic selection of flavours to choose from. Found this place by chance and fell in love with their pizzas, as it was delicious, crispy and thin.
This pizzeria has some.quite unique approaches to serving and toppings which will strike fear into the hearts of those that don't venture out of the classic neopolitan model.
Here, expect minted lamb with tarragon pesto, crispy broad beans and smoked burrata with charred rye bread.
All of this works very well indeed, and goes down superbly with their well maintained draught beers - some as low as £5.50 a pint.
Pizzas can be bought by slice or half and half - but are very large 21 inch by size.
Staff were very on the ball and there was a good vibe in the restaurant which is a casual dining environment.
Ooooh it's damn good pizza 🙌 Perfect spot if you take a walk from Kings Cross on your way to the Wyndham Theatre (A very specific night out but I recommend this route if you do 👍), really tasty food, great staff and a great venue on a cool spot. The Dalston lemon soda is delicious!
I had the pleasure of visiting a pizza restaurant with some friends recently, and overall it was a great experience. The highlight of our visit was definitely the pizza - we ordered two 20" pizzas, which are large enough to feed 2-3 people each. We ordered two different pizzas instead of splitting the flavours 50/50.
The Air-Dried Wagyu Beef with Truffle Crème Fraîche, Cipollini Onions, and Salsa Verde (with Garlic Oil) was an absolute standout, with its rich and flavourful toppings.
The Salami, Rocket & Parmesan with Tomato was also delicious, with the rocket adding a nice touch of freshness to the overall flavour.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was generally nice, with a warm and welcoming vibe. However, one downside was the music. The club and high loud music felt out of place and unnecessary, and it detracted from the overall dining experience. It was hard to hear each other over the noise, and it was difficult to relax and enjoy the meal fully. It would have been better if the restaurant had played more low-key and relaxing background music, or even just kept the volume down a bit.
Despite the music, we still had a great time and would recommend the restaurant to others for the quality of the pizza alone. If you're looking for some delicious pizza with some friends, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Just be prepared for some loud music in the background.
There are 2 options. One of them is slice pizza. Other one is full version. Slices are big enough. If you are a little bit hungry, 2 slice could be enough. Or too hungry, 3 could be great. Margarita is pretty good. Pizza with Mushroom has too pomegranate syrup. It is too much for me. Salami vers is my best!
My number one choice for pizza in London is Homeslice 🍕❤️ my favourite is mushroom one🤤 It cannot go wrong whenever I bring some friends here! Super tasty pizza, great staff, and lovely atmosphere. Absolutely recommend it👍🏻👍🏻
Came for an early dinner on a weekday. It was busy but we were lucky enough to get a table right away. I'm not usually drawn to pizza restaurants (this was my wife's pick) as I usually find a certain sameness or monotony of choices and flavours from place to place. But my wife found a winner in Homeslice. The menu selections were eclectic, the pizza base was thin and did not overpower the flavours of the toppings. The huge size of the pizzas looked daunting at first, but every mouthful was a delight. Also recommend the Aperitivo Spritz to complement the pizza.
A great delicious pizza, ordering a half-and-half pizza, Margherita and Mushroom toppings.
The atmosphere is charming and cozy and the staff are be friendly and accommodating.
The pizza was huuuuuuuge 😄 The ingredients were excellent. The dough was super thin and tasty. I recommend the beef and chilli mushroom truffle combination 😋 The restrooms could be improved..
The slices at this place are absolutely stunning. This pizza at a new level absolutely amazing
You can choose a different kind of half of the pizza. We tried margarita and mushroom one. Mushroom side was better. Pizza size is bigger than normal.
