The Hoop And Grapes - London - Photo album

the staff were really attentive and friendly , I really enjoyed my boar and chorizo pie , it was hot , with appropriate servings of mash , freshly cooked vegetables , and gravy. the two beers I had were also enjoyable , with Wainwrights Amber taking the edge , so i had a second pint of that . a pub
A local London pub atmosphere at its best. Sparkling laught of local customers, delicious fish and chips, and fast friendly service. It has been a few years since the last visit in London. We visited many pubs in London during this visit and only The Hoop and Grapes delivered what we were expecting.
I dont know how you can dislike this place! It has charm while still being lively and fun. The food is AMAZING. Definitely a stand out for us and would return night after night if we could to try everything on the menu. The crisp on the fish & chips was immaculate and the steak & nichols pie was del
I found this place randomly (when I was looking for a pub with fish and chips on the menu) and wasn’t disappointed. I tried the chips with a draught beer for the price of 23 pounds. The food was great, portion was more than enough. I regret that I didn’t try their Apple pie as it sounded delicious b
This was my first visit here, and it was an ideal place to meet with friends and enjoy a few beers. It's a fairly small pub, so there is limited seating availability, but there is lots of standing room around the bar and tables. The beer selection was varied, with something for everyone , and the s
Had a round of drinks on Fri night with a group of friends. Able to book online which was good. Historic pub. Beer selection was ok - usual UK pub choices for draft. Live music kicked off late evening.
Wonderful dinner ! We stopped in before the Jack the Ripper tour, lots of history, food was terrific. Mashed potato’s, gravy and pies Good Stuff ! The best food on our trip so far. Bathrooms are pretty wild too 😂
This place was a real nugget. The pub is 400 years old and just survived the great fire of London. Famous for it's pies which were better than the underwhelming fish and chips. Service was great although we used the app and waited for 20 mins then food and drinks all came together. So go to the bar
Absolutely brilliant pub - old-world feel with historical context but modernised enough that it looks fresh and well-kept. The beer selection is incredible and if you like ale I recommend the Nicholson's by St Austell Brewery! The pies must be some of the best I've ever eaten, really delicious, and
Another traditional pub with lots of original features. Very busy on a wet Saturday evening. Had a delicious moijto. We didn't eat but many people were and the food looked very nice. There is a small stage with live music from 8:30pm.
What a fabulous place this was. Delicious food (the pies especially) and quick service from lovely, friendly staff. Would highly recommend. We didn’t book but we were lucky to get a table so I’d advise you to book in advance!!
Great experience! Dennis took my drinks order and was super friendly and prompt and made us feel very welcome - looking forward to visiting again soon! Kim

Very nice bar, the Service was friendly and useful, they had a good choice of different beer. But the food was just awesome 😎. Thanks for this nice experience
Great bar food and appetizers. Can easily order plus close tab from table. Offers a variety of cocktails, mocktails and low alcohol selections. Apptetizer sampler was delicious. Had fish goujons, halumi fries and house nachos.
Lovely and authentic British pub, perfect interior, live music every Friday night, excellent Fish&Chips - beautifully served with a lovely smile!
Fun pub for our last night in London. You can make reservations online which is recommended as it gets busy. Tried the appetizers of the padre/shinto peppers and croquettes. Both fantastic. Good prices. Then we tried the Fish and Chips and Lamb shank pie. So good! You can order via phone by scannin
