I came here for a birthday and the it was so good! The staff are super friendly and helpful, the food was so good, I think this was possibly some of the best chicken I've had in years! The venue itself is warm and inviting with a air of sophistication and charm while somehow feeling down to earth at the same time 🙂👌 We had a group of about 10 and they gave us a reasonably private space; be sure to book in advance if you want it. They also have a lovely bar area for while you wait. Overall I had a wonderful experience and can't wait introduce this lovely restaurant to others for the first time. 😃

Love this place! The decoration is lovely, just as great as seen on the photos. Price is reasonable and the food is tasty! We’ve order charred cauliflowers, African rice, and fritter for starter. Cauliflowers is nice, the flavor isn’t very strong though, a relatively healthy choice. African rice is delicious and unique! Would totally order that again. Fritter is alright, not bad but isn’t impressive neither. The piri piri chicken is delicious, oregano and garlic&lemon are both good. Would totally revisit this place again. Fit for someone who loves chicken.

It was great, I'm glad I travelled to London with this place on my mind. The chicken was excellent, as I would have it back in Portugal - very tasty, and likely one of the chicken I've had in the UK. Service was busy but pleasant. Atmosphere on a Saturday lunch was understandably very loud and overwhelming, as one would understand. And the decor was very pleasant, bright, and as the box says, very connected to Portugal and Algarve elements. Will recommend and try to come again.

A busy atmosphere, if you like that. Dimmed lighting for ambience. Always packed, so book in advance. Meal for two, we had two half chickens, two sides, four sharing platters and two soft drinks. It came to £90. Which is good value for the amount of food. Please bring back the oyster mushrooms, they were the best thing on your menu!

The most delicious grilled chicken ever. Very tasty n juicy. We had oregano chicken and the default chicken, they both were good. Personally I prefer oregano sauce, it's great. I'm not a cauliflower fans, but the yoghurt sauce is yummy. The fish ball were lovely. The green portugese wine really impressed me , the sangria is excellent, not too sweet. I love the whole interior design, roomy n comfy.

Authentic Portuguese cuisine with friendly service. Lots of options for vegans or vegetarians. 6 starving hikers finish our hike here and we were all satisfied with quality of the food and level of customer service. We will definitely come back.

Absolutely delicious!! Amazing quality food and really worth the money, had the peri chicken, cabbage, African rice (they adjusted for halal and the crispy chicken skin was so yum!), prawns, slaw, crispy greens, mango mouse, and almond cake. I recommend trying everything because it was all super tasty! My husband loved the gluten free options, there was loads to pick from and it all tasted delicious. Service is really excellent! The staff really take care of you and help you order. Very considerate for allergies and intolerances. The menu has a lot of vegan, gf, halal options! Will deffo be back!

This place is beautiful, even on a cloudy day the restaurant upstairs was filled with light and the plants give it a nice vibe. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, it's good to try the different plates for the starters. I'd recommend the chorizo and the bacalhau fritters. The chicken was delicious, juicy and moist, the peri peri sauce it came with was spicy and great flavour. I loved the African rice, with bits of chorizo and crispy chicken skin.

Beautiful cooked chicken. I call it fancy nandos 😂 sides are OK but croquetas are the best one. Fries a bit of letdown as its just fries with sauce. Atmosphere was great though, lovely venue and the vibe was 5*

A really good, and lively venue. We arrived as a group and had wonderful time sharing as a group. The waiting team are excellent, and managed to spot when one of our group was getting a little hangry. The food is very very good, and i would recommend all of the sides and starters, the cauliflower was to die for and the sauce was cleaned up by all of our group. I would warn you that they can get busy and Friday is not the best day.

The idea was to eat at borough market but we saw this little Portuguese gem and decided to avoid the crowd. Food was great, lovely vibe and they have a terrace if you make a reservation in advance. We’ve ordered a few glasses of vino verde, frango piri piri and cauliflower- all of it were great!

The place has been on my list for a while.. Beautiful interior with green plants and glass roof. Food portion is like tapas style and just right for share between two people or for single diners. The Portuguese empanada with kale is amazing, a pocket of bursting flavors. The croquettes are also quite tasty, creamy but not too oily. African rice was awesome. I never thought about cooking rice with plaintine. The Piripiri chicken was nice, and the sauce actually had a bit spiciness rather than being toned down too much. Grilled cabbage was massive and tasty. It was a hard struggle to choose between the classic pastel de nata and the “National treasure” (almond cake). I wasn’t disappointed by the latter. It was not too sweet and had some crunchiness in the almond flour.

What a great find. Upper floor is markedly better than the basement. Lots of light and plants to soften the noise and it looks super pretty. Stairs might be a bit of a struggle for those less able but it’s a really quirky, cool decor. The food was bursting with flavour. Chicken was charred but still moist and we loved the feijoada, chorizo and slaw starters. The rice had salty crispy chicken skin and was incredible. The fries pretty average. Has a homely feel but with real star quality food. It was really busy on our visit and service was… impeccable. Looked after our toddler and food allergies with great care and attention. Really great work from the team and I would fully recommend

Very friendly personnel, great service and very nice ambiance. A great place for a fun night out with friends. They offer a reasonable variety of food options, it was nice and tasty but not very special to be honest. I’d go back for the ambiance and the fun experience, but maybe not particularly for the food.
