Passed by Paul for a quick breakfast and cappuccino.
The croissant was fresh. The cappuccino is not heavy at all. There is always a small queue.
Overall, perfect for a quick breakfast.
One of the nice places in the neighborhood to have coffee or hot chocolate. Love the pain of chocolate or the lemon pie. Their sandwiches are very good also. The place has seating inside and outside, but inside is quite small.
Great coffee, we tried the cappuccino and had the pain au chocolat, freshly baked and too tasty. Paul has a large variety of sandwiches and pastries. Helpful staff and fair prices. Recommeded!!
Always a very good breakfast at Paul’s. I tried this branch last week, they have indoor and outdoor seatings, decent prices, delicious food. A good meal to start your day with.
A chain cafe. Bread and drinks ok. Nothing exceptional but would not disappoint either.
Great sandwiches, cakes, teas and coffee
Went to get few tartelettes this afternoon. Lemon is still not my favorite but it has a new taste now.
Thank you for the great customer service 🤍
Paul has always been my all time favorite bakery cafe when I visit Europe. It offers a fantastic range of breads, pastries and sandwiches. Not forgetting decent coffee too. This particular branch offers nothing short of Paul’s standard. Great tasting sandwiches and full bodied coffee (they use Lavazza beans by the way). Lunch meal satisfied.
Visited here this week for the first time, staff were decent and the food was amazing. Coffee was also pretty good. Will look to visit again in the future!
I thought it was good, offered outdoor seating, my Earl Grey tea was good, I liked my sandwich though the bread also seemed, not stale but a little tough. Customer service was helpful and pleasant, place kept clean. I ordered as takeout and ate outside but if you order as dine in they'll give you an actual mug and plate to use. Overall nice experience though not something I'd be saying "wow!" to or get all excited over which is why I'm giving 4/5 stars.
Female staff pulls long faces while the gentlemen working there are pretty polite .
You can expect good quality food from this bakery! Everything taste as good as they look!
Only thing I thought was a tad disappointing is the price difference between dining in and taking out. You can expect to pay £1 more on each item just for dining in. That can add up to £3-£4 easily!
Otherwise, I’d highly recommend!
Great taste! One of the best coffee I have taste. It's a very small shop and fits around 10 to 12 customers inside. Has a small toilet. It's a bit confuse if you get there during morning which is the hush hour there. Everyone is in and out.
I love a Paul, it has everything you could want from a French patisserie in the heart of London, and my favourite apricot slices! Coffee is great, food also yummy. Friendly, professional service.
What can you say about a coffeehouse chain named after you 🤣
A well-stocked bakery just across from the Gloucester Road underground station. Breakfast pastries, luscious French patisserie, bread sticks and rounds—they have it all. This chain seems quite reliable for diverse selection and quality.
The pistacchio macaron is just sublime✨😍Staff are super nice at this shop as well.
Bread is good, service is good, but not easy to get a table. Good to take away.
