A gem of a place we came upon by accident. We had a number of starters for lunch. Great
and great value. We had a selection of starters for lunch. Artichokes and sweet potato fries a standout. Also char grilled cauliflower. And halloumi. And...... You get the idea.
Delicious vegan food and excellent service. When we arrived at the restaurant, although it was busy, my friend and I were seated immediately. We were well looked after and didn’t feel like we were unnoticed despite how busy the place was. I also loved the variety in the type dishes, we ordered three entrees and two mains to share - and for the cost, we were rather surprised as the food quality was so good!
Mind blowing! Went here on new year’s eve for dinner. Was not sure how good vegan food can be. Ordered tandoori chicken and it was amazing. Service was prompt and we stayed till the place closed. Would come again.
I really enjoyed my experience here mostly the food.
Firstly trying a vegetarian/ vegan restaurant I was quite anxious and curious as to what I would like or try. I ended up going for the Gyoza with Sweet Chilli Dip with a side of Sweet Potato Fries and Chipotle Ketchup. The wait for the food was about 10 minutes which is ok. The presentation was great and looked tasty. It certainly lived up to that because it did taste delicious and I really enjoyed it. After that I was quite curious as to what the burger would taste like so additionally ordered the Polish Beetroot Burger. Now this was even better...never thought they could make something taste so similar to an actual beef burger. It looked incredible too a real pink beetroot colour.
I would visit here again just to have that burger again
Furthermore I think the service was ok. It didn’t stand out but it wasn’t bad. The staff were very kind and I was also seated straight away. I wasn’t too keen on the restaurant itself, it had not much character just looked like a dining space for people. As well as that I think the tables were too close together that privacy is quite limited
I believe I will certainly visit here again sometime especially with that beetroot burger in mind. It’s why I’ve given it a 4 out of 5 stars
Yum!!!
Even if you are not a vegetarian you can enjoy this place. The portions are huge and everything tastes fresh. Lots of variety and the staff are lovely.
Even the organic prosescco is a winner.
The restaurant set up itself is a little basic, so maybe not what you choose for a special occasion, but well worth a try.
Great service, great food, and the prices are reasonable for sit-down in Camden. Great range of organic vegan drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, too.
Exceptional service every time. Certain staff members stand out for their passion for delivering incredible service and for dedication to all things vegan; Phoenix and Christian namely.
The food is orgasmically mouth-meltingly delicious, with decent portion sizes and so many varied and sassy food / desert options. There's variety, a buzzing yet chilled atmosphere perfect for all kinds of occasions and really good vibes. If you over-do the puddings and feel a tad podgy afterwards, then you're close enough to TriYoga for a stretch, Regent's park for a run or the canal path for a stroll to walk it off. wonderful location, great people, ravishingly good food.
Lovely feel to this vegetarian restaurant. Staff were lovely and its child friendly- (high chairs and change table). My tofu burger was a bit dry though. The chips were nice- thick but 'fake' potato so fluffy. I think the sweet potato ones looked nicer. The sauce with the chips was yummy. Salads were a bit hit and miss-'some nicer than others. Would go back and try again.

I had been recommended Mildreds as an amazing Vegan/Vegetarian restaurant to try out by dozens of people, so when I finally got the chance to go, I had a built up a pretty fantastical expectation of how it would be in my head… And I was not disappointed!
After a visit to the Soho restaurant on Lexington street one lunch time with a colleague (which was lovely, but it was very small & very busy, and the food took a little longer than we hoped to arrive), I went to the Camden branch a few weeks later. First with my mum when she came to visit the new flat I’m living in (with lovely housemates and 2 adorable cats, but more on that another time) and then a second time more recently with a friend. I was over the moon to find out it was as lovely & delicious as everyone said...
There are so many great new restaurants opening all the time in London that deciding to go back to an old favourite almost always feels like a bit of a wasted opportunity.
But sometimes, the planets align and one of said old favourites open a new restaurant themselves.
And then it very much is your duty to go and check if it’s as good as the original (right?).
I don’t know if there’s some underground trend that’s totally passed me by, but quite a few of my mates have recently gone veggie. It’s a pain if I fancy going to a steakhouse, but the upside is that there’s always someone willing to accompany you to a proper vegetarian restaurant. (I once suggested one to Mike, a dedicated meat-eater, and he recoiled in disgust as though I’d just suggested having a poo in his shoe or going to Aberdeen on holiday.)
I haven’t been to Camden for a long time and we came up for my birthday as something a little different to do. So whilst doing something different why not go to a Vegan restaurant.
I was really impressed with the flavourings and I didn’t think considering we are in London it was that badly priced.
The staff were really friendly.
My favourite dishes were the spinach Gyoza and the Pulled Pork (not pork) burger - this was incredibly flavourful.
Would most definitely come back here even as an avid meat lover.
Very bubbly atmosphere and well decorated for a fresh feel.
I booked a table online, and glad I did as it was busy. We arrived about 15 mins before booking time, but they were able to accommodate us.
I'm not a vegan, and have to admit that there were items listed in dishes that I had no idea what they were, so I just randomly chose the Almuerzo Brunch. Delicious!
The food tastes healthy and is filling, and lots of flavours in each part of the brunch I tried.
Oh, and try the lavender and lemon home blend drink... It's very refreshing.
The staff were super friendly and welcoming , and relaxed, despite a busy restaurant.
I'd highly recommend this place.
I had the leek gnocchi and it was quite bland, it was very disappointing. Although, the nachos were incredible. The pitta bread is always amazing, so warm. I highly recommend the Hummus, it’s so flavourful!
It’s a Mildreds, so the service was great and so was the atmosphere.
Have visited a few of their other locations and Mildred’s is just as good! Popped in for a quick lunch and there was plenty of seating available and service was extremely quick.
The pulled pok burger was absolutely fantastic. If you are in the Camden area and looking for something plant based Mildred’s will certainly have something to satisfy everyone.
I went for a weekday dinner. The menu is a little uninspiring for a vegan restaurant. I know they were the plant based innovators in London but their menu now does feel like it has fallen behind a little.
However, nice restaurant, excellent service. Good portion sizes, if slightly overpriced. I had the BBQ pulled pok burger. The filling was slightly too sweet and the chips were lacking some flavour. I mostly enjoyed my meal but not enough to return.
The store was empty, but it is very clean.
The flat white coffee was good strength. Confusingly the waitress asked if I wanted milk. Teas are available.
We came for drinks only.
Customer interest and engagement makes it 5 stars.
I had a great time in Mildreds. The place is easy to find, located in a road parallel to the Regent’s canal, a non crowded side road. The restaurant decoration is nice, large windows allows the light to come in. The food was really amazing! I got a curry dish which was delicious, very well prepared and my partner got a Korean burger. She loved it too. The staff was super relaxed and friendly all the time. Mildreds is one of those places that remember us how delicious one can eat if goes vegan. For sure I’ll come back
I tried this restaurant because I wanted to accommodate my friend who is vegan and honestly i had the best salad of my life (grilled artichoke Caesar) 🥬😉. The service was also super kind and friendly. I liked the idea behind the name of the dishes - go there and you will see. Highly recommended.
Booking process was easy. Nice, but busy atmosphere, which is testimony to their popularity. The food was fantastic. The fact its Vegan is even better!! Service was frequent but not intrusive. Nice restaurant for family evening meal, date night or just something to eat. Will definitely eat there again!
simply wonderful, a marriage of flavors for the eyes and the mouth. Very pleasant staff with good advice. I recommend without limit
