Classic, nothing fancy and complicated but incredibly well prepared and served food!

Great staff, passionate about food, not too formal - which we loved.

We ordered tuna carpaccio with hazelnut dressing, burrata with tomatoes, turbot, bottle of wine, Creme Brûlée, and chocolate mousse.

I list it without comments as I cannot recommend anything in particular. All was just amazing. Pick anything you want.

We really enjoyed our first visit and surely will come back very soon.

The small house.  Kind of a weird name for a restaurant.  As imaginative as Burger and Lobster serving, burger and lobster.  Or Five Guys serving, Five Guys’ burgers.  Or KFC serving mutant chicken.  Although I guess it could be worse.  It could be called something less charming.  So with a question mark in my mind as to what small house cooking would be like, we began our dinner.

For so long, I have stressed the importance of the role of flavours in a dish. Sometimes there is no need for pretention, for fuss or for eccentric cooking methods - just the need for high quality ingredients, classic flavour combinations and a skilled hand. It would seem like La Petite Maison abides by this philosophy as they consistently deliver classic French dishes to a very high standard.

Enjoyed very much this restaurant. Excellent service, food and ambiance. The restaurant was packed and very noisy, we almost had to shout so that we can talk!!Loved the burrata very much. The pasta with clams was ok good, the creme brûlée was excellent. The bread was super fresh, olive oil superb. Would recommend and repeat.

If you like French food like I do then I'm sure you'd love La Petite Maison, a chic dining room that's ticked my foodie boxes for all the right reasons. . Hidden in a discreet mews in the heart of Mayfair with roots hailing from Nice, LPM brings cuisine of Southern France and the Mediterranean to London. They also have outposts in Paris, Cannes, Dubai, Beirut and soon Miami.

La Petite Maison is one of my favourite restaurants in London. I love the tuna carpaccio and burrata starters and the sole, seabass, roast baby chicken and leg of lamb mains. All of the deserts are stunning and rich. The atmosphere is always buzzing and relaxed and the service has always been impeccable. It's the kind of place you could frequent, if not for the price. Chef Raphael Duntoye has created a simple, fresh and inspired menu and every dish is cooked to perfection.

Simply Nice. A wonderful experience filled with simple and elegant notes. To start we enjoyed several family style dishes that included a lovely grilled vegetable dish and unforgettable octopus dish. The artichoke salad was clean and refreshing. Dinner was a bit more characteristic of lavish French cooking. The duck with orange glaze was real and not hidden behind harsh flavors...just true duck leg with simple hints of orange. Sweets at the end were not impersonators and included a rich French toast glazed in sugar and a thinly sliced apple tart.

I’ve had many lovely dinners at Le Petite Maison, located in a hidden alleyway behind Bond Street. It’s the most un-French restaurant I’ve tried in London. Starters were dominant of seafood carpaccios and vegetable salads, mixed with zinging, tingling sweet yet refreshing dressings, minimal yet flavoursome. Basically, the opposite of dancing in cream and butter. Mains include home made pasta, cooked perfectly al dente or pork belly with beautiful crackling, slow cooked duck leg comes with a syrup like orange glaze, again not heavy but enough to deliver the flavour. Fish mains are equally delicious, like the whole sea bream papillote or salt baked sea bass.  Le Petite Maison belongs to the same team behind Zuma and Roka , but the cuisine couldn’t be more different from its sisters. The restaurant itself felt French, in a traditional and busy way. The kitchen counter was decorated with large bowls of fruits and vegetables, which were the only resemblance to  Roka  if I have to find somet

La Petite Maison is my favourite restaurant in London. Not the world, that title goes to the 16th century falling down farmhouse in the middle of the French Alps I mentioned in my Androuet review. But if I’m in London and have to eat my last meal, La Petite Maison would be the lucky venue. In fact, any achievement of any sort is almost always celebrated with a customary trip to La Petite Maison.

The food at La petite Maison is the most freshly prepared food served in London according to me. The quality of food is really high and the ingredients are fresh. The chef's here are absolutely amazing and I had the opportunity to interact with them. The staff here is very friendly and ready to help. My recommendation would be pan fried sole, the burrata and the foie grass chicken. The chicken is absolutely yummy.

Incase you are a vegetarian , my friend had the pasta with truffle and mashed potatoes which she absolutely loved.
The best part about the menu here are the desserts. We literally ordered everything on the dessert menu and none of them were disappointing. The creme brulee and profiteroles are an absolute must. The tiramisu is quite tasty too. This place gets an extra star from me for their desserts. The place is a bit expensive but there is a price for tasty food and its worth it.

Great night in the city center
.

I booked here based on the Zomato reviews and went with my girlfriend.
The location is just great and the good experience will start since your step in.

The bread they brought us was nice. We ordered “Pates du jour” which was lovely. Great pasta. By the time we finished our first course, my girlfriend wanted to try their “gnocchi”! She asked for it and when they arrived the presentation and taste were just stupendous! Their dessert are really nice, especially “tarte fine”.

They also have a good selection of wines.

The bill for what we ordered was around only £40 per person. We had even some sides and other dishes. Considering where this restaurant is placed, food and service the price you pay is absolutely reasonable.

Recommend it!

I had a wonderful time dining at this restaurant. Even though we were a big group of six, the service was faultless. The staff was very friendly and extremely hospitable in order to being quite knowledgeable as well. The place has a sharing, Tapas kind of concept, which was quite good. The food was also very well prepared and was extremely delicious. The Creme Brulee is a must-have here. I would definitely recommend this place.

This is one of the amazing French restaurants in this city. The service was very prompt and pleasing backed by a relaxed atmosphere. The food that we ordered met all my expectations. The starters were very generous in portion size to share, and the mains as well were good enough and appetizing. We wanted to try their house specialty which is roast chicken with foie grass but you have to order it in advance.

I have visited this place several times, and I am happy to be putting this review. According to me, this is one of the best restaurants for having French food in this city. The only little thing that irks is the wide choice on the menu. I really love all their food, but especially prefer the haricots verts with foie gras and the lechato lamb. I usually order Pan Perdu for dessert. This restaurant needs reservations in advance and it is usually full.

This restaurant is really popular and equally crowded, in fact getting a table here is a feat in itself owing to the small interiors. But the reason for its popularity is definitely the amazing selection of wine and the French cuisine on offer. The service here is quite good too.
The dishes were served in tiny portions and looked pretty , the taste was very pleasant and the quality of food absolutely smashing.
But i think if you are here , you must most definitely try their Marimba Tomatoes which are not offered all year round!

Located near Bond Street, La Petite Maison happens to be one of the coolest lunch places I have been to off late. They have a very serene environment and great atmosphere to just sit, eat and chill. What more can I say, with fresh Buratta cheese being imported daily from France, the level of quality at La Petite Maison is unrivalled. The menu and ingredients used are based on what is in season, with innovative chefs prepared to constantly change their dishes. While the food was great, If I am honest, I must say the ambience does not compare to the La Petite Maison restaurant in Dubai. The bar at the London one was rather empty on a Friday night, the location was far from special, and in general the restaurant just did not have the same buzz as the Dubai one. Yet, the food is of great quality and was very much enjoyed.
Subway

Cheap and fast, I really enjoy a meal at Subway whenever I am hurry. Under 10 minutes, I can finish a proper meal, which is somewhat healthy with a variety of vegetables and salads. Subway offers the service of completely specializing your sandwich, from the choice of bread and cheese, to all the ingredients put inside. My favorite part of Subway is that unlike most other fast food joints, the staff here are understanding: if I ask for a veggie delight they are more than happy to change their gloves. For the price paid, this meal provides full value. If I am overly critical, it was slightly surprising to see that prices have gone up from a year ago, with a veggie delight footlong sandwich no longer £3.49 but now approximately £4.20.

To mark one year of marriage according to our papers, E took me for a fancy lunch at La Petite Maison.

He kept it a secret for a while, but I was delighted when I found out since it's a place I've been wanting to try for so, so long!

It was a gorgeous day, so we got to sit out on the terrace (not the most secluded as it's basically on the pavement, but it's not too busy a street so it was nice), which always makes it feel like a bit of a stay-cation.

E pretty much knew what we should order due to lots of research and recommendations from friends, so I let him take the reins and sipped on an ice cold glass of rosé while we waited.

To start off with, we had tuna carpaccio and a classic pissaladière (a thin layer of pastry with caramelised onion/olives/herbs etc. on top):

The dressing on the tuna had a kick to it which was delicious, and the pissaladière was melt-in-your-mouth good.

For the main event, we had sea bream cooked en papillote, and a grilled veal chop that we both took one mouthful of, looked at each other and shook our heads in disbelief at how tender and flavourful it was.

We also had potato gratin on the side, which was an afterthought but my god I was glad we did - it was absolutely amazing. If it wasn't so rich I would have wanted a whole one for myself!

Having heard that their cheesecake is one of the best in town, we definitely could not leave without seeing whether it lived up to the hype.

You bet your pants it did.

Like a cloud of vanilla-y cheesy creamy fluffy heaven. This one and the cheesecake at Cecconi's are the best ones I have ever had.

This place is firmly in the "special occasions" category for us as the prices are pretty steep, but it was a real treat to be able to finally try it and enjoy such a delicious meal.

Bang smack in the middle of Mayfair, you find the posh yet reposed Le Petite Maison.

French Cuisine, my favourite, it is the French that knew how to indulge and appreciate food and ingredients to the extent of worship. It is French techniques that we adapt and has progressed to the modern age, in the kitchen, the French have it down. Le Petite Maison is a sentiment to that. Fresh yet decadent, all their dishes, and I mean all, leave you with the faint Amelie Pouline soundtrack playing in the back of your head. Don't be surprised if you zone out mid conversation, it is the high saturation of flavour, go with it.

Every single one of the dishes came with a knife, a short knife, a sharp knife, a razor knife. All I needed was one. The blunt knife. The techniques they've used are so incredibly beautiful. One slide and the food is cut. The Tuna, The Salmon, The Ribeye. One. Slide. That has never happened to be before. I started testing it out as a theory. It was brilliant. Top ingredients, top chefs.

Let's talk about the burrata. For a table of 8, you need 8.5 burratas. Silky, smooth, melt on tongue, this dish has to stay with you at all times like a shot of your favourite drink in between courses. The gnocchi is similar, no need to chew, just let it liquefy on your tongue and savour every last flavour.

The potato gratin was one of the best I've tasted, though it doesn't have that crunch, it has that richness that doesn't make you feel ill after consuming.

All the desserts deserve a standing ovation, bravo Petite Maison, bravo. How you know the human palate so well, is beyond me.

Chapeau-bas.

So I tried a little of high end trendy London this weekend and here is my review of La Petit Maison:

The place is great but a bit loud, you'll find yourself screaming to your friends so they can hear what you have to say. Make a reservation and if interested ask for the black leg chicken in advance as it takes one and a half hours to cook which is absurd! Apparently people love to celebrate their birthdays there as we got at least 6 happy birthdays chanted out by all the staff or maybe people just wont spend the amount of money it costs in any other occasion.

The concept of the place is for you to share all that you get and thats my favorite way of eating so Kudos on that!

Drinks:
Apparently the thign to drink here is Rose Wine, so when in Rome... We had two beautiful bottles and even though quite expensive i would recommend the "Domaine Ott ‘Clos Mireille’" its the perfect combination between dry and sweet so marvelous.

Starters:
The starters where good, you CAN'T miss the burrata and tomatoes! Just excellent!!! The nicoise salad was pretty bad, it was bland and for the price its just not good... The Petits Farcis Niçois where gorgeous and so full of flavor, you just wish they weren't so small (and pricy) .

Mains:
On the mains I tried the "Sôle Poêlée au Grain de Moutarde "which was delicious! If you like fihs its a really good choice! On the other side we also had the "Loup de Mer en Croûte de Sel" which was bland, a bit overcooked and full of bones (spikes) this for me is intolerable, especially for forty something pounds in an allegedly five star restaurant... We also had the "Entrecôte Grillée" which was cooked to perfection and full of flavor and the best of all for me was the perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious "Côtelettes d’Agneau avec Aubergine", if you like lamb chops this is worth your money. As mentioned earlier i wasn't able to taste the much expected "Poulet au Foie Gras" and i don't think I will give this loud french restaurant a second chance.

Dessert:
We had the Mousse au Chocolat Chaud et Glace à l’Orge for desert which was quite good but nothing special to write about.

Bottom line:
Its too expensive for what you get, the atmosphere is loud and definitely a place to see and be seen, the food can either get a 5 or go low as 3 on a 1-5 rating and once you get the check you'll think twice about how good your food was. This is difficult as a great restaurant should make you fall in love regardless of the cost, but this is not the case and thats why I'm torn and not giving it a higher grade.

Le Petite Maison or “LPM” delivers one of the best french cooking I have ever had…

I’ve heard so many things about this place, especially about the food. And it went beyond my expectations.

This place first started in Nice and boast some of the best cooking in London

The ambience is great and the way they serve fresh tomatos and lemon is unique…

Enough with the intro… Lets start with the food..

This is without a doubt the best burrata I had, creamy burrata, sweet and fresh tomatos and I think a hint of cherry vinegar or something makes the dish super delicious.. A must order, MUST!

Next the Carpaccio of Tuna, thin sliced pepper crusted tuna in a fresh and tangy dressing with the crunchy texture of the nuts is divine.. Perfect!

Next the escargot.. I’m not a big escargot fan but my gf who is says the flavours was there but the texture of the escargot wasn’t right

For the main, first slow cooked duck in orange glazed with grilled cabbage.. This is amazing, sweet and tender succulent duck dressed in a citrus and fragrant orange glazed with a hint of liqueur.. The grilled cabbage adds the wonder balance of both texture and charred that just goes really well together

Who would have thought olives would go so well with a rack of lamb…. Olives gives the already flavoursome and tender lamb a hint of the saltiness and the unique sense that the olives give… Delicious..

The veal chop is amazing…. Super tender, sweet and fragrant.. The seasoning on the veal is delicious.. Seasoned perfectly and the rub on the meat is just amazing plus the caramalised crust elevates the whole thing

Finish of with their vanilla cheesecake with braised cherry is divine.. The texture is super light, packed full of vanilla and the cherry sauce is very luxurious…

The creme brûlée is light, not overly sweet and the crust on top.. Perfect..

Le Petite Maison blew me away today, delicious, classic cooking and combinations of ingredients that creates one of the best dishes I ever had.. All I could say is that this is a place to be in whatever the occasion cause you will not be disappointed

I finally visited the South of France, and I finally get how LPM is French - not in the richly sauced and slowly stewed, and fiddly way (that I also love), but in that undefinably light.breeezy.way of the Mediterranean. The je ne sais quoi I suppose, though here, it's clear it comes with a pretty punchy price tag. The restaurant itself is delightful, white, airy, full of sunshine and fresh flowers. A shiny bar towards the back of this circular room,. they don't have a cocktail menu, but they'll do all the classics and will mix you up anything on request - very SoF. Anyway, it's charming place for lunch or dinner, sparkling, and they've got wonderful acoustics in here, which is a + as there are no carpets and the place (as far as I know) is always packed. The food is seasonal, but with a Mediterranean focus, a few highlights for me have been the truffled mac and cheese (because I have no control and cannot resist this wherever I find it), the green beans (I believe blanched, sauted? sent down from heaven?), and their varying selections of carpaccios (fresh, zingy and pink peppercorned). Their mains are excellent, grilled fish/chicken etc., but I think it's their starters and their desserts where they truly shine. Their wine menu is extensive as expected, I wouldn't be looking for value here, but you'll get what you pay for! Their service, like their portion size pricing is incredibly erratic, expect to have to wave around for that delicious bread basket, but servers are usually quite charming, unless they're trying to hustle you out for the next sitting. My solution? Late lunches and late dinners. Everytime I've come to LPM has been a special occasion - celebrations with friends and family, warm memories in a very happy place restaurant. It's pricey, but it's special.

Though at a higher price point, this restaurant successfully delivers in value for money across both food quality and quantity. The seasoning of the meat mains were sharp, while the meat itself cooked moist and tender. Would highly recommend both the baby chicken and lamb chops. The tuna nicoise starter was plentiful. The cheesecake is a must, extremely creamy and moreish. Service was a little mixed, with one of the waiters far more concerned with punctuality than pleasantries, though others were polite and helpful.

One of my favourite London restaurants and the perfect place to bring a date you’d like to impress, without coming across as too try hard. Love the lentil salad (seriously) and the lamb chops. Always a good mix of Mayfair crowd and celebrities, service is always friendly and warm. Love the champagne selection (includes small houses), and always leave room for the pain perdu. Love it!

The vibe is incredible, the food is fresh and delicious, and the sharing plates make it the perfect place to go with a group of friends. I started with the seared scallops, which were perfectly cooked and melted in my mouth. For my main course, I had the grilled turbot, which was so flavorful and juicy. I also ordered a side of the truffle mashed potatoes, which were the best mashed potatoes I have ever had. We finished our meal with the chocolate mousse, which was rich and decadent. The service was also excellent, and our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. Overall, I had an amazing experience at LPM Restaurant & Bar. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all top-notch. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a special dining experience in London. Sharing the food was also great. It allowed us to try a variety of different dishes and experience all that LPM has to offer. I would definitely recommend sharing plates if you are dining with a group of people.

🍽️Food: 5/5 🤵🏽‍♂️Service: 4/5 🪑Ambiance: 5/5 📝Notes: LPM is a classic restaurant. The branch in London has elements from the original branch in Nice. The staff are professional and everyone does their part. The food is outstanding and I would come back again, in the end, price is a factor and expect this place to be pricey 🤑

Had a wonderful weekend lunch at LPM. Service was all round excellent, and the French maître d was hilarious! Starters were yummy — recommend the carpaccio and zucchini flowers. Cocktails were unique and loved the little art deco details. Mains: duck confit was good, but would skip the vongole (somehow this had charred corn??) & fish Dessert: the French toast is a MUST ORDER. Absolutely divine, to call it the world’s best French toast is no exaggeration

First time having a dinner here. The food is great and staffs were really nice. The price is a little bit high though.

Good quality food but I think it is not exceptional to be priced at that price range. Service is great and stuff is polite and attentive. Wine list is impressive. Nice ambience especially if you seat outside.

Here coz TikTok v3. Really wanted to try the dessert French toast and it did not disappoint. Lentil salad also quite nice. The portion for the mains is bigger than I expected.

Thank you to Lwin, he’s always going the extra mile for the fantastic customer experience. We always have a great meal and enjoyable time at LPM. Best dishes are the burrata (when it’s on the menu), cod croquettes, sea bream and surprisingly the gnocchi. Thank you Lewin and the rest of your team for the superb birthday celebration with my mom and lunch with friends! Their team is fantastic, so warm and welcoming, always a pleasure to be back.

Fantastic food, really exceeded expectations and I was particularly impressed by the sea bass carpaccio. My server was great and attentive and very friendly - making great food and drinks suggestions. However, due to dining alone I was sat in the back, near where the servers seem to go when they have free time and it was a little awkward hearing their quite personal conversations.

We really enjoyed our experience here. Love the cold appetizers. Tuna tartare and yellowtail were perfectly seasoned and refreshing, definitely the highlight of our meal. The baby chicken was well cooked and very juicy. However, the truffle pasta was very watery and bland. Buzzy ambiance but lack the privacy because all tables are positioned very close to each other in one dining room. Service was fast and professional.

This restaurant gets booked really quickly so worth booking well in advance. The restaurant itself is beautiful but tables are very close together. The food is absolutely delicious and definitely worth the hype. The potatoes literally melted in my mouth the prawns where just cooked to perfection. This is definitely a place I will be visiting again I would recommend to anyone.

Love LPM, one of my all time favourites. You wouldn’t believe that the tomato, lemon and olive oil tasted so good that’s placed on the table prior arrival. Also they serve the best snails ever- literally! Had them in Paris many times but these always top them, food was delicious as always and the service was even better. Ordered a whole sea bass this evening and it was delicious, preferred it to the turbot. Every member of staff is always so friendly and a joy to be around. On a last note- you must also try the creme brûlée, it’s insane. You can easily share it between three people. Cocktails are great, try beauty and the beast (comes with a red rose in the ice) or the coco chanel! Highly recommended
