Lovely cozy place. Nice decor and seating area. The food is great. We ordered from the gluten free menu.
The service was good as well but they seemed short in staff, only one waitress and looked overwhelmed.
Good example of classic fish and chips. Reasonably priced and a nice family feel to the restaurant. Was disappointed by the size and shape of the first fish which was Served and had to send it back. Another came out right away with no issues. Everything else was perfect.
All the food was absolutely delicious! I am gluten intolerant and my husband is not and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals, they had a wide selection of gluten free options and everything was excellent! It’s not often we get to share food so this was a real treat. The servers were so friendly and fun, and the restaurant has the perfect laid back atmosphere, all around a favorite from our trip!
The tastiest fish and chips, nicest staff, and best service in all of London. Definitely go here...and then go again! The batter is soooo good, I had to also try their onion rings and was not disappointed!
Nice shop for fish and chips. The seating area is neat and clean, although the tables feel a bit sticky. The portion of fish is nice, but you have to buy the chips separately.
Calamari and halloumi salad are also very nice.
Super fresh tasting haddock and tasty tartar sauce. I really enjoyed my meal. The staff were friendly and helpful. Wish it had less of a fast food ambience, and would have preferred my beer in a glass.t

One of the best in London, I have dined here many time and never disappointed, highly recommended. Fish is fried to perfection, service is fast & friendly.
Lovely little fish and chip shop in central London. Fish was battered and fried fresh as you can see when you walk in. Nice vibes. Just went in for a small bite and got the seafood platter. Amazing taste and defo fresh
Amazing fish n chips. The fish tasted very fresh and was delicious. I can definitely recommend to eat the traditional fish n chips from here if you are in London.
To be fair, I only had chips but I see the other food coming out and it looked amazing and they're the best chips I've ever had and I've been on the planet over 40 years. Excellent quality chips and the guy give me plenty for a small portion in a box. Freshly cooked the cods that he was cooking, looked a good size and crispy and it looks like pretty much everything they do is freshly cooked with highly recommend £3 for a bag of chips for London that's probably about average the staff really friendly

Solid fish and chips both gluten free and regular. I’m allergic to gluten and was very excited to eat fish n’ chips and amazing gluten free onion rings. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful.
Their website also has clear allergen markings, which was helpful.
The best fish and chips,hands down. Quick and friendly service, quiet place. They have great variety of fish and "chips" variants. Beer selection is limited but good.
Wow! Such a great fish and chips place. We got there with a large group and no reservation and they found us a table and the server even personally recommended which fish each of us should get. This meal was really filling and the place itself was so cute.
Had an excellent Fish(haddock) fried and Chips over here with Tartar Sauce. Will visit again.
It was our first time having fish and chips. The battered cod and the calamari were so tasty! The portions are very well served for the price. We will for sure come back.
Delighted that takeaway from Hobson's was our last night's meal in London before returning to the states. Perfect meaty English chips and the cod- a large piece, with crispy coating- was fried to order. I chatted with the friendly multi-national staff while waiting my order- a Turk, Indian, Syrian and Brazilian- fantastic.
Tried this place last December and really liked it. The food was delicious and gluten free (I’m coeliac and that’s the reason we decided to try Hobson’s Fish & Chips). My girlfriends enjoyed the menu as well. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting London.
