Quaglino's is located in the busy street called bury street.

They have both bars and tables . Prices are reasonable and commensurate with the quantity and quality of the dishes served.

Now thats the heart of london. A splended restaurant from all sides. They have a bar and tables. Booking is a must. Prices are fair but comparing to the food its simply nthg. I had a 40 day aged black angus rib eye and it was 👍👍👍👍. Hats down for this 5 stars restaurant

Savour the flavours of a four course Royal Wedding menu and toast the happy couple with a Kir Royale from now until Friday 18th May. Peter Morrell and his wife start celebrating. A stone’s throw from Clarence House and Buckingham Palace, Quaglino’s is ideally located as a restaurant to celebrate a Royal event or indeed any occasion. I chose Quaglino’s as the venue for my 40th birthday dinner as it has a unique sense of style and sophistication that will add to any celebration.

This is London. There’s always something exciting happening. Mostly because we’re an excitable bunch. We adore anything that delivers us from our routines and if it involves a spot of food and a tipple well, we’ll just be beside ourselves. So, here’s the thing – Quaglino’s, our favourite Mayfair wonder, is tempting us with the best tantalising Thursday offering I’ve heard of in a long while.

Walking in to Quaglinos makes you feel like you've just entered a scene from the Great Gatsby. The beautiful interior and the live music performed from the stage makes this a great place to grab a drink with some friends on a weekend.
The food is not bad, but My reason for returning here is not for food but simply for some drinks and entertainment.

It's fair to say that the last time I was invited to one of these all-in-one entertainment/restaurant/bar venues, it didn't go too well. Circus is (or rather was, I've never been tempted to go back for obvious reasons) a cabaret and dining joint in Covent Garden firmly aimed at bridge-and-tunnel birthdays and hen parties, where vaguely pan-Asian dishes, looking a lot better on paper than they taste in real life, are served, occasionally interrupted by an annoying thumping soundtrack and bit of half-hearted hoop-spinning. It was all a bit... tacky.

Such a great night out, the entertainment during dinner really sets the night up to be a great one. The decor is fabulous and decadent. I wouldn't recommend getting the cocktails but champagne and sea bass is the ticket!

The current trend for bottomless brunches is really something I can get on board with…I mean…all you can drink bubbles for the duration of your meal all for a very reasonable price is a genius idea. If you haven’t already I’d highly recommend checking out Bottomless Bookings, a fantastic new website from my friend Gary Berry and basically a one stop shop for finding brilliant bottomless deals in the UK.

Beautiful restaurant, definitely makes it feel special and very good attention to detail.
Food is delicious and well presented!
Service was slightly slow at the beginning but quickly got better & never felt pushed to order, leave etc.

Definitely will visit again for a special occasion!

The door swings open & the door man ushers you in from the cold making your way down into the mood lit reception area images of Colleano's bar from Mr Selfridge spring to mind. There's a real old world glamour about the place. Gatsby could walk through the door and he wouldn't look out of place at all.

Everything a restaurant should be. Had a referb there recently. Really nice design. Has a bar in the middle of the restaurant. And there is live music after 7pm. Not loud, just perfect. Food is decent. There is an amazing vibe there. Gives Novikov a run for its money

Brunch at Quaglino's is an epic affair: think a serious amount of food and the option of bottomless prosecco - you're not going to leave hungry (and probably not sober either!). The options are for either two courses or three courses: we chose to order a starter to share and a main and a pudding each and safe to say we were ridiculously full!

The quality of the food is excellent, each dish was a real delight and there wasn't anything that we didn't like or would have changed.

The service was attentive without being pushy and we never had to ask for a top up, our glasses were always refilled without us noticing!

I'd really like to go back and try the afternoon tea and dinner services.

Everyone likes a gin garden, and the one that’s popped up in Mayfair’s Quaglino’s is blooming marvellous (sorry). Full of beautiful flora and fauna it takes over the central bar in the impressive dining room giving it a summery and other-worldly feel, and is the first and pretty much only thing you notice.

Brunch is a real indulgence and a true showstopper by definition and when you go to one of London's best restaurants, well you know you're in for a treat. Q brunch at Quaglino's is now firmly atop my list of London's best brunches, so make sure you've got something to eat 'cause you're about to get very hungry and let's dig in!

My favorite spot in London. Had a wonderful meal with my wife. The menu is extensive but even the simplest dishes such as fish and chips are great. I'm not a huge fan of the bathroom attendant that basically tries to escort you trhough your lavatory experience but whatever, I suppose it's better than a dirty toilet.

Vibrant. Like Bluebird Quaglino's has a great vibrant atmosphere, some excellent steaks and seafood to match. Sometimes you can wait for the food but when it comes it's usually very good.

Quaglino's is a London institution. It's been in St James in Mayfair since 1929, that's 85 years! In that time it's seen countless famous faces pass through it's doors - Judy Garland even had her wedding reception there! Last year we took my Grandma there for her 80th birthday dinner, after all, it seemed fitting seeing as the restaurant is older than she is, and this summer, Quag's had a £3millon refurbishment, so last week I went to check it out ...

London restaurants owned by the group D&D have always been a little hit or miss with me. Some have Michelin stars, some serve more as a local but overall the one thing I find they always lack, is personality. The dining rooms tend to be soulless walls which are either too minimalistic, or completely over the top. Quaglino's has been around for more years then anyone realises -  I think it can quite rightly take accolade as a British institution. But for years it has been stuck down a slippery slope. The décor had become dated and obscure, the menu seemed to keep growing in size, deals paved every restaurant offer site going and then you had the choice of which one of those to choose from. It became another D&D graveyard, which everyone knew about, but just wasn't going too - or at least no one I knew. But then someone at the company with some sense decided it was time for a flashy new makeover. And what a marvellous job they've done. It looks stunning. Some may say a little tacky, but who cares. It feels expensive, it feels fun and most importantly it makes you want to come back time and time again - Quaglino's has personality. Staff attire is probably the strangest part of it all. Men wear lavish sequin covered waistcoats, while women wear long dresses which look as if they'd come from an ancient Roman bathhouse - they're quite provocative, and I'm wondering how many people have tripped over in them already. But enough about the dresses, I'll get back to the food. And its good. The bar is excellent too. Bartenders who look as if they just been found in an Italian fashion magazine, and happened to know a thing or two about mixing drinks were on hand to help start off our evening. The wine list was very poor, but my Negroni tasted excellent. A walk down the restored famed Quaglino's grand staircase to our table and quickly arrived was some bread arrived, and it was shockingly bad. Plain, boring, no flavour. They need to address this quickly. First impressions count f

Quaglino's in St James's was imbued with an indelible glamour the moment when, in an early episode of Absolutely Fabulous , Patsy set out to Eddy their itinerary for the day as: "...a little mosey down Bond Street, a little sniff around Gucci, sidle up to Ralph Lauren, pass through Browns and on to Quag's for a light lunch." Patsy's choice of lunch spot was understandable; in its Nineties heyday, under Sir Terence Conran's ownership, Quaglino's was about as fashionable as restaurants got. It will come as no surprise that it was the first place I rushed to eat at when I moved to London in 1994 and loved it. These days, Quaglino's is part of the vast D & D London restaurant empire and is, if not exactly unfashionable, unlikely to figure on many a Londoner's must-go list. This is, I have to say, a terrible shame, as it's still, well, absolutely fabulous. The room, unchanged in twenty years, is still stunning; the most frequent comparison, and I can think of none better, is with a grand oc

Great venue after the refurb it really is looking amazing. I had the octopus to start and fillet steak for main course. Both really nice although the steak can on its own with just a tomato to garnish at £29 they could of put some carbs in the plate! Sides are £4 per side and we ordered 5 sides between 4 of us. and the atmosphere of the place was also really good, p

First impressions count for a lot.

But once the real food started to arrive, memories of that bread quickly faded. What I was really surprised about most here though, was the prices. It was all actually very affordable, considering its location and famed history. This starter of red wine braised octopus, chorizo and artichoke barigoule was only £7.50. It wasn't huge but was well sized. Was it good? well actually it read much better than it sounded. The octopus was nice, cooked well and had a little smokiness to it, but the chorizo element just didn't come through enough. In fact when you could taste it against the artichoke flavour it was a little odd. This was by no means a bad dish, just a slightly unbalanced one which needs some tweaking

The seared yellow fin tuna with lotus crisp, pickled mouli, yuzu and grapefruit dressing turned out to be a lovely showcase of ingredients. The tuna was stunning. It was so fresh, perfectly cooked and every time I get such a good example I'm always reminded why don't I order more tuna. It's so satisfying. But then I realised why - because so many places get it so wrong, I've almost given up taking the risk. Apart from making the dish look pretty the lotus crisp was pointless and tasteless, but the acidic grapefruit dressing left the mouth salivating and restored my faith back in ordering such dish again.

I'm writing this with an EAT Thai pot in one hand and a brownie in the other, both utterly disgusting and all I want to eat now is some seared tuna. But instead I have the pleasure of telling you about my next dish. Highland wild red deer 'Grand Veneur', parsnip puree and braised red cabbage. Even reading it make me dribble. It may not look much either but I can assure you it was utterly delicious. The meat was beautifully tender, cut through like butter and strong in meaty the flavours. The gravy was intense, yet refined and that parsnip puree was like eating liquid gold. Paired with a side of outstanding gratin dauphinois it was a lovely dish which shouldn't be missed if you visit Quaglino's.

This photo doesn't do this dish any justice. In terms of how good it really looked, and also - its size. It was a monster. Roast rose veal chop, mushrooms and a fourme d'Ambert glaze. If you've not heard of fourme d'Ambert before, it's a cheese. It's said to be one of the oldest as well, dating as far back as the Roman times. While it's probably one of the of the mildest of the blue cheese family it certainly imparts one hell of a punch of flavour. For me the sauce was perfect, but for those who aren't such a blue cheese fan, you may struggle. The meat was also dare I say it again, perfect.

Dessert was a simple affair, but it did exactly what you'd expect from such described dish. Passion fruit tart with crème fraiche. The pastry was good, nice and buttery. The tart filling was firm, melted in the mouth and the passion fruit flavour was as intense and concentrated as I hoped. We also had a crème catalane which was a little disappointing. The flavour was there, but the texture not quite right - a little too thick. Still it's early days for newly appointed head chef, Mickael Weiss.

Another cocktail down the hatch and a glass of white wine chaser and we were on our way out the doors, with what turned out to be someone else's umbrella (a lot nicer than mine) and I didn't even notice till a couple of days later. While every dish I talk about here seems almost perfect, Quaglino's isn't without fault. The wine list is awful, live music on some nights can be slightly odd and there were other dishes (which I didn't photo) which weren't quite up to scratch. You can easily have a good meal here at Quaglino's, a great meal if you pick carefully or a bad meal if you have the worst tastes - If you're thinking vegetarians (you were thinking it) then maybe so. This really is a place for meat and seafood lovers so veggies - beware. While my score may seem a little reserved, I'm still holding out, because I think the food here in time will only get better. For a good value, delicious meal and free entertainment look no further - Quag's-is-back.

I was surprised at how disappointing quaglinos was. We had had it recommended by friends but the service was average, the portions were tiny and the food was nice but not what I would have expected from somewhere of this level.

I would try it again on the hope that the night was just a "blip" but I'm not holding out much hope.

Warm friendly and efficient greeting. Shown to our table and served with a lovely glass of bubbles. The waitress was helpful and very capable as she prepared and poured our wine. Great choice for the menu. Food beautifully presented and served promptly but we never felt hurried. We lingered over coffee - an altogether delightful experience. Will def recommend to all my friends and even at work.

Vegetarian options. Wine menu was quite extensive and price was on the higher side.

I would advice to book a table in advance to avoid disappointment. Few couples with no reservations were turned back from the reception itself.

Highly recommended for special occasions and office Group parties

I recently dined at Quaglino's, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The food was absolutely amazing, surpassing all expectations. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, bursting with flavor and creativity. From the perfectly seared steaks to the delicate seafood, every bite was a delight for the senses. But what truly set Quaglino's apart was the phenomenal staff. The service was impeccable, with a level of attentiveness and friendliness that made us feel like royalty. The waitstaff was not only knowledgeable about the menu but also eager to cater to our preferences, ensuring a memorable dining experience. In a city known for its vibrant culinary scene, Quaglino's stands out as a gem that combines exceptional food with an unparalleled service. I can't recommend this restaurant enough for anyone seeking a remarkable dining experience.

Very classy restaurant in the centre of London. Visited for a "slap up" meal to celebrate my partners birthday. Great service throughout and the food was exquisite. Live music during the evening too which made for a nice atmosphere, just a shame about the noise from the bar upstairs. The food and drinks are pricey, but despite that it is all so indulgent that you don't really mind! They even gave my partner a complimentary birthday macaron which was a lovely touch.

Classy place close to Piccadilly. Reserved a table there just in the bar, not at the restaurant, during live music session. The staff is very kind and careful, cocktails are amazing. The place is glamorous, well designed, everything is just in the right position. Prices are in line with the high quality and the entertainment. Overall it was a nice experience, perfect place to spend a night while listening to some live music. Approved!

Music and service great, make sure you go when the bands are on they are top notch. Steak tartar good. Mains - Dover Sole, tasted ok but I think the amount of butter gave me a bad stomach for a day or two after. Steak looked a better choice, but wasn't the best I have had. Drink are expensive but given the quality of the entertainment seemed reasonable.

A fantastic experience from arrival to departure. The food was exquisite The service was high quality. The live performance was fantastic if a little loud if you are next to the stage. The cost of the meal was as high as expected but was worth the cost. Not too busy for Saturday brunch and a hen party gave the place some liveliness. Definitely worth the trip. Thanks for a great experience and meal.
