Excellent food, attentive service and appropriate pricing. This kind of sums up this place.A small and beat place hidden under the arches near the embankment pier, they deserve the near perfect rating.
We had their fish pho, prawn curry with rice and a chicken salad.fish was fresh, quantity large, gravies were full of flavour.we particularly enjoyed the prawn.

On one side they have their small restaurant and on the other is their takeaway service which is just perfect to bring back to the office.
We picked out their top two starters which were:
– Hot ‘La Lot’ Rolls- Grilled Lemongrass Beef wrapped in wild betel leaf
– Salt and Pepper Squid
The Hot La Lot Rolls are one of the most delicious rolls I have ever had so definintely give them a try. As for the squid, it is always a good reliable and it was full of flavour and had a light batter which was perfect for lunch.
For our Main Courses, we went for the following:
– Mixed bowl- Pork Spring Rolls, Grilled Pork, Noodles and Veg
– Grilled ‘Cha Cha’ Monkfish which came on a hot plate.
Both of these were delicious and recommendable.
The venue can cater for offices and do lunch deliveries and will also be offering seasonal catering menus.

Of all the regions I have 'travelled' to on my round the world foodie tour of London, I like Asia the best. So when I was invited to come and review Vietnamese MOC Kitchen in Charing Cross, I could only answer with a big fat 'Yes'. My friend and I had picked a very rainy evening to go and eat at MOC Kitchen and when we both arrived there cold and wet, the welcome we received couldn't have been warmer.

If you’ve been keeping an eye on the latest food trends to hit London, then you must know all about the upsurge in popularity of Asian cuisine. In particular Vietnamese, widely regarded as one of the healthiest styles of cooking there is. With it’s use of fresh meats, vegetables and straight-from-the-garden herbs combined with very little oils or fats. So how did MOC Kitchen fare?

Good restaurant, tried Pho, Mixed Bowls and Fresh Rolls. Music is soft and friendly waiter. Easy to find near Embankment in The Arches.

Will be back!

I was pleasantly surprised by this place - I was expecting a fairly average quick pre theatre dinner (as with most of the places in the area) but the food was delcious - fresh and tasty with fast and good service, and good value for the quality and portion size. The Cha Ca Fish is particularly spectacular! The only downside is it's really small and quite cramped, so probably not the best place if you prefer a bit more personal space - but otherwise, great!

It was raining 🌧️ dinner time. But we seat outside of the restaurant under the bridge. Pretty cool! We didn’t book for Thursday dinner, didn’t wait for a long time. May be 10-15min:) Staff are friendly but inside restaurant space is bit small. But food was great 👍 summer roll was bit dry but pho was really nice. Didn’t take photo CUZ I forget 😂😂 and try ginger lemongrass drink 🍹 recommended!!!

Had a fantastic meal at MOC Kitchen. My husband had the brisket pho. The broth was light, and the meat was tender and flavorful. I really enjoyed my tofu aubergine clay pot. The sauce was a wonderful balance of savory, sweet, with a hint of spice. Definitely would recommend dropping in for a delicious, quick, and authentic meal.

Food is decent for a quick bite but there are likely better choices if you want a more enjoyable experience. The male waiter is rather cold and unwelcoming (mentioned in many other reviews!). He is likely hurting the business and should try to smile and be more accommodating. A potential customer walked away because he would not allow her to park her foldable bike by the table. The place is pretty small and the smell of Vietnamese cooking permeates. The kitchen does a pretty decent job at cooking and there are a variety of dishes to choose from but some more explanation would be helpful for new comers to the cuisine. MOC has a lot of potential but needs to make some tweaks to reach its full potential. The location is less than ideal but can be become a convenient go-to for those who frequent the area. Hope to see it make some positive changes!

Absolutely delicious! Staff is very friendly, and their Pho is the best one I've had. It was a bit hard to find, as it's in a side tunnel (The Arches Shopping) between Charing Cross and Embarkment, but for some reason Google maps doesn't show the location properly. I recommend booking as it gets full even during weekdays.

Very good Vietnamese cuisine served in this small restaurant under the arches. The service is slow however the food was tasty and the beef pho was full of depth and perfect for a cloudy rainy day. The La lot is also worth ordering, the beef wrapped in the wild betel leaf is so good and ideal as a side dish. Don't forget to also have some good wholesome Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. All in all decent place and better option for food than some of the chains nearby.
