Cocktails at this iconic bar is definitely worth it in the Summer. Even if you dont get to sit outside on the terrace getting these top floor views across the river, the space is mostly glass covered so you get the views too. We had a French 75 and another classic gin based cocktail from the list which I cant recall. This is a cool spot. Great for friends or a date. Service is quick and professional. Prices reflect the plush rooftop location. I would definitely go there again and I must try the restaurant too.

I wanted to go to the OXO Tower for so long, since we have been working next to it for almost a year now. So we decided to go for a lunchtime cocktail on my birthday. It's really surprising that the bar is on the 8th floor as that is not as high as you'd expect, so you can have a great view but also be close enough to the river, which is exactly what I wanted.
The cocktails are all very nice, there's a great selection and an icon of the glass they are served in next to each one. My friends used that to narrow down their search as they said some glasses look too girly or like they contain less drink in them. Personally I choose by the ingredients so rum, tequila and blue curaçao are always favourites. If they also happen to have a funny name then that's a bonus.
I tried the corpse reviver (the blue one in the photos) and it was quite strong but very nice. Despite it fun bright colour it's not one of those you drink really fast; you definitely need to take your time.
I don't see me making the OXO tower a regular haunt but I would go back for another special occasion for sure like another birthday or something.
Great view (especially in the evening), easy access, friendly staff and delicious cocktails make oxo bar a nice place to socialize. I haven't tried the food, so no comments on that.

The extensive cocktail menu includes many original creations by Oxo’s mixologists, many of which are London and Thames-themed, with the average price of £12.50 per drink (average West End price for cocktails are £8-9 so you’re paying a bit extra for the quality and setting). I chose a fruity Pleasure Boat – a Tiki-style drink complete with Tiki cup available to take home (for a price).
Although the place is often packed, if you have a good company you will have great time there with amazing views worth even waiting in the line to get a seat. Staff is very helpful. It is certainly not a quiet place at least during the weekends. Get a glass of prosecco and you will feel special here :)
I had never been to this restaurant before and decided to try the winter menu. I was welcomed very warmly by the host and was seated right next to the glass with a lovely view of the river and other landmarks nearby. All the dishes I ordered, the starters, the mains and my dessert, made sure that I had the taste of the best the heaven could offer. The food is delectable but everyone is here for the incredible view. I had an amazing evening and would recommend everyone to go here at least once.
I happily recommend this restaurant to everybody. It is located in a very beautiful and accessible location. The views from the builiding are outstanding. If the weather is nice, it is advisable to sit outside. That location is very soothing to the eye. I loved the food. It was delicious and very well-prepared. The lamb was succulent, tender and flavoured perfectly. The wine list was also really well thought out. The service was flawless and impeccable. The place was full, but our server was attentive. We had a really nice night and dinner.
I had a wonderful time with my friends here. The restaurant offers a spectacular view of the city. The bar staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and hospitable, and will recommend you great drinks. The pannacotta is a must-have here. The crowd usually consists of working crowd, couples and tourists. I would surely recommend it.
On our anniversary last week, my friends and I happened to visit this place for dinner and had the most amazing gin and tonics we've ever had. The view of the place is spectacular, and the cocktails that they offer are impeccable. The service was at par too and the best time to visit this restaurant is during sunset hours.
I recently tried this place and had a wonderful time here. The food was excellent, especially the beef and cauliflower puree which was cooked to perfection. The desserts are pretty good as well. The service is pretty efficient with the staff being quite warm and friendly. The ambience is wonderful as the views from this place are beautiful. I would love to visit this place again and recommend others to visit it as well.
The place offers a remarkable view of the city. The building not only has a restaurant, but also clothing and jewellery stores. The venue is centrally located and is very approachable. It is the perfect place to shop and then stop in for a latte. I am a regular here and would definitely recommend this place.
This has probably the most beautiful view in all of the city. We got a table right next to the balcony and had the best view out of all. The clientele was comparatively younger than us and it seemed as if it was the trending restaurant among them. The only downside to my whole experience was the overcooked duck which lacked tenderness. The view and the brand, however, are the main parts of the experience at this place. This is for you if you're looking for a great view with a young atmosphere.
I recently visited this place recently and had a great time here. The ambience is awesome with wonderful views from the place. The food is good but not worth the price. The food is just average and is pretty expensive for it's worth. The service is also just decent. I am not sure whether I would like to go back to this place because basically you are just paying for the ambience.
I had a wonderful experience dining at this place. The restaurant has one of the best view's of town which is absolutely outstanding. The atmosphere is upscale and classy. The service was also great with the staff being extremely friendly. The food was delicious and appetizing and very well presented. The haggis is a must-have here. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
I came to this city for the weekend. On the last day of brunch, I went to this place with my friend. We sat in the restaurant outside, since it was a really nice day. The location is beautiful and overlooks the river. The sound of the waves was amazingly reassuring. The service was top-notch as well. It was very immaculate and efficient. The staff was well-versed with their menu and food, and we did not have to wait long for service. The food was even more brilliant. The presentation was simplistic, but the taste was amazing. Everything from appetizers to dessert was deliciously prepared and presented. The sommelier was also very efficient. We got the best quality in our price range, and the wine was delicious. This place is a perfect ten.
The view from the restaurant is spectacular
Come here for a romantic meal or a good time with friends.
Surely you will love it!
And the feel of the place is quite warm and comforting.
The staff though friendly needs to be a little more careful with the orders.
The food tastes great, looks tempting, hence a good value for money.
The place offers a great view of the St. Paul's cathedral and is located in a great venue. The food here is delicious and absolutely delightful. The food is also well presented and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is lively and includes a celebrity clientele as well. This place is totally worth the price, and offers a great experience overall.
Lovely place , with a menu better than most places have to offer , The food is good too , and cooked to perfection . The prices are however a little high but worth going to on a special day . Waiting to go back here again and would recommend to all .
This place has a simple and short menu. They include a lot of seasonal dishes in their menu like British fish, meats like Cornish cob and devon crab, porks infused in different flavors like Thai spiced coconut and Saudi prawns. They have some good vegetarian options as well. Each dish is beautifully described and appetizing on your taste buds.
The place offers great cocktails. The view from here is also remarkable and you can enjoy your cocktails watching the sunset, which is a very delightful sight. The place does not require ant prior bookings, so you can visit this place whenever you want to. We got to know of this place through a website.
It was my first time at this restaurant and I must say that we had a brilliant time. The service here is fast and does not leave you unsatisfied in any way possible. Being attentive and concerned about customer needs, the customers realise how well trained the staff is. The food is melt in the mouth yummy!
This place is surely worth a visit.
As soon as you enter this place, you would be pleasingly amazed by their beautiful decor. Very classy and modern. Food and wine selections were extensive and whatever we ordered was appealing and appetizing. Service, as well was in line. Very prompt and efficient. All in all, you enjoy a beautiful meal overlooking the wonderful view of historical buildings.
It's a bar with one of the nicest views in town. Right on south bank, by the river - although the tower is not the tallest building in London by any stretch, it is one of the tallest ones in the vicinity.
It is a cool place to visit especially in the summer as the outdoor terrace is open.
Came here for my husband's birthday. We had the summer taste menu. The food was good, just a bit over priced for what it is. Nevertheless, fantastic service and great atmosphere. The restaurant is also very kid-friendly providing my daughter with a little kiddy colouring pack. They also has a children's menu.
Amazing view, food and experience. I will definitely come back. The fish croquettes were super tasty. The desert could have been better.
Birthday dinner at the OXO was lovely.
It’s high end dining but it’s worth the price tag.
Nice and attentive service.
The menu was diverse and the food was delicious. I was unfortunately a bit underwhelmed with the truffle burrata which was too creamy for my liking but the scallops were gorgeous. The Chateaubriand was great too.
We weren’t directly by the window but could still enjoy the view.
The atmosphere was nice.
I’d love to go back!
With good weather, it was great to be seated outside. Great views of London from the terrace, good atmosphere in the brasserie. Service was very good, attentive and friendly waiters. Food was good, good choice of vegetarian dishes, I would recommend and go back.
A 5-star restaurant. Beautiful place with great view of River Thames and North London. Dishes were very tasty, an interesting and authentic mix of flavours. Service was polite and friendly. Dessert was amazing too. Definitely recommend it.
Tasty food and nice atmosphere! We had the set menu in the Brasserie. The food was very good and the view on the river was great. There was live music inside but no speaker to hear from the terrace. Definitely recommended!
A beautiful and affordable rooftop bar, cannot wish more 😌
I have to say some rooftop bars in London are abusing the customers with minimum spend etc. just because they are privileged in their location and the view. But this place is very generous, as long as you book this place, there is a bar area available, where you can just have a pint of beer overlooking the city view.
Although the view cannot be the best (unfortunately it is across the never-ending construction area near Blackfriar station)
, you can see St.paul and skyscrapers in the city of London.
The staff were also attentive and friendly.
I’d love to try the food menu as well next time 😊
So I came here as a special treat to a friend. The restaurant has high windows offering great views of St Paul's. The staff are very personable and the general ambiance is refined and welcoming.
We ordered two starters, two sides and two mains, as well as wine, coffee and dessert. The food was half and half. While I enjoyed my lamb shoulder main, my friend found her duck main too dry. The two sides were supposed to have truffle oil in them, but the taste was too subtle. The scallops were nice though, and so were the dessert.
Great spot for an evening meal and to watch the sunset. Beautiful views of the city and the thames.
We were well taken care of the the friendly staff. We look forward to our next visit.
A splendid birthday treat.
Afternoon tea was Devine.
Highly recommend this.
All staff are brilliant.
Great views of London.
Definitely book in advanced.
All very filling.
Treat yourself.
Not visited for some time but managed to find time for a cheeky lunch in the Brasserie and it was fantastic. Delicious food and good value at £35 for three course. Will defo be visiting again. Service was a little slow but we had plenty of time. Likely a staffing issue like most venues in London at the moment.
A really nice evening in the Brasserie with a great view and hospitable service. We really enjoyed the food and the surroundings, with some excellent choices on the menu to eat and superb cocktails. The mini nduja calzones were a highlight, along with some of desserts. A few things let it down from a 5 star review though. Firstly, our starters came out within minutes of ordering, which made is feel like they were trying to move us on quickly (desserts and later drinks came much slower though, so thankfully we got to spend the full allotted seating time). Second, there was a draught blowing in which made it a tad uncomfortable at times (this was in August too, so surprising). Finally, the prices on the menu are quite high - the steak, at £40, doesn't come with any sides and resembles a ribeye from Flat Iron (which is half the price). We had a lovely time, and if you're looking for a lookout over London, I'd recommend.

Oxo Tower Restaurant, Bar & Brasserie, London: When in London, feast on the splendid view at dizzying heights. Then feast on a grand meal and down a few cheeky cocktails. OXO is where you get the blue summer sky with a gorgeous panorama, plus a classy brasserie to boot. It’s such a grand feeling to put on your sunnies as you dine till the sun refuses to set. The jazz duo turns up the classy notch and your evening is complete. Food was a stunning smorgasbord of good presentation well matched with standout tastes. They win the best kids meal award with the classy presentation that elevates kids meal. The best kids dessert was the rocky road which was so cool and delish it makes all the kids meal in the world bow in reverence. This was such a stunning dining experience ticking all the right boxes. #eatstylishtravelstylish
Visited recently & ordered from the Summertime set price menu.
The ambiance is great & staff very helpful.
The £40 set price has a good selection of dishes & is good value for money but be prepared for highly priced extras (eg. £7 for chips) & a service charge.
Choice of sitting inside or outside enjoying a river view.
Restaurants are on the 8th floor but if you don't like lifts advise the staff as there are no public stairs (you have to use an alarmed fire exit)
Would reccomend this place & will certainly return 😊
Beautiful views of London and relaxed atmosphere. We had the set dinner menu with options to chose from - the chef speciality catered a choice of a vegan starter main and desert which I appreciated. Food was good but nothing special. Friendly and attentive waiters and overall a nice evening so 4 stars deserved!!
Food, service was good. Only thing is they could put on the menu or the staff should mention to the customer's is if this dish is served cold or hot.
