First meal in London and the fish and chips did not disappoint. As fresh as one would expect it to be! The batter was perfectly crispy and not overdone.
Very calm and quiet place. It was amazing having portuguese staff with I can talk to. They were all very nice. Tasting Fish and Chips for the first time and loved it. Totally worth it.
On our trip to London we passed by the takeaway cafe and the owner gave us a huge portion of fish and chips. Fish was so fresh and flaky and fried to a golden crisp and a generous amount of fries. I have never had fish and chips like this. We back for dinner at the restaurant a few days later. The portions are good, prices reasonable, and the staff are very friendly and welcome. They treat you like family. I would definitely visit again next time we are back in the city and recommend to others.
This is a good place to try out that old British classic: fish and chips in a formal restaurant setting. The fried cod was moist and flaky and the chips nice and crisp. It was a bit pricey compared to the same dish at most pubs, but that is justified considering the quality of service.

Probably the best fish and chips in town. You can not wish for more. Excellent quality right from the fresh fish shop next door that is part of the same business. The portion was abundant and the fish was crispy as it should. Chips and mushy peas were also great. We had also a smoked salmon salad which was great. We are returning costumers and bringing friends visiting London every time we can.
10/10 would recommend. We were at the end of our trip and still needed to try traditional fish and chips. In general I think traditional British food is mid all around but when I’m Rome. And this was delicious! We got fish and chips and a seafood soup. Both were great. The location was fun and helped us hid from the rain
Likeable place. Friendly people. Steamed mussles are nice, bit creamer than you'd normally get. Fried haddock with mushy peas was good. Well made. Little less emphasis on the batter and more on the fish. Good chips. The 80s playlist I didn't mind at all.
We came here for lunch after it was recommended by our tour guide. It didn't disappoint! We of course got fish and chips. The servings were generous, not too oily (to my liking), and the extra curry sauce I got was also delicious. They only have two desserts, creme caramel and sticky toffee pudding. We got a mix of both and both were also good.
My wife and I were visiting from the USA and enjoyed a nice meal here. It was an easy walk from our hotel across from Victoria Station. The staff was friendly and accommodated my wife's special request since she does not eat seafood. I had the cod fish n' chips and it was fried to perfection....nice and crispy outside, moist and tender inside.
We ordered Cod Fish and Chips, it's very yummy. The batter was thin and crispy, not feeling greasy. Portion was generous. And staff was always so friendly and welcoming.
I'm not sure if I can pick one that was better, the haddock or the cod? In any case the fish was excellent and with the tartar sauce, even better.
Great place to taste some delicious seafood that is not only fried but also carefully steamed or grilled! Highly recommended!
Brilliant Atlantic cod and chips cooked in crispy batter for a reasonable price. It was very quiet when I was here for a late lunch /early dinner on a Friday afternoon. I arrived extremely hungry and left feeling full. It did not surprise me to be told that it was fully booked for the evening. Everything was clean and fresh with attentive, unobtrusive service. I hope to go again when next in London.
Nice place. Food was good as well. Fish was fresh but had no flavor. Needed some sauce or ketchup. Mushy peas were very nice
The portions aren't as large as they used to be, but excellent fried fish, you can taste the freshness! And you can eat at the takeaway window counter which is nice.

Great restaurant and great food. The service was fantastic and the portion size was huge. The server was knowledgeable on the different fish and flavors. 100% would recommend as a tourist.
This place is a great gem to get fish and chips. We sat on the bar in the takeout side of the place for a quick bite as we were short on time. The staff was very helpful and the order was ready in a few minutes.
We got Cod & Haddock fillets, a fish cake and fries. Everything we got was superb, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Simple yet satisfying food and the portions are very big. We got a single regular chips for two and it was more than enough.
If you want to get fish and chips and you're in the area, don't miss this spot.

Wasn't left disappointed as the Cod & Chips took me back to the way Fish & Chips were served back in the Mid 90's. Fish battered and fried to Golden crisp perfection. Not Greasy or oily, just right.
