My go-to restaurant for easy dinners, set menus change monthly and are always of good value. Service can be slow at times and it can be difficult to get a nice table but the quality of food is always reliable. I come here every few months and I love the open windows in the summer, reminds of one of my local bistros in Paris!

They waiteress was welcoming and she managed to find us a place even though the place was packed and had no reservation. I tried the half-chargrilled Breton chicken with the provencale sauce whicb was delicious and fulfilling. As a starter, we had calamari which comes with side Tartar sauce. My friend ordered Steak Frites which I thought could be better taste wise and presentation wise. It lacked something.
Thoroughly enjoyed this spot, I credit the entirety of my awesome day to the excellent breakfast I had here. This is now our new go to place for breakfast in central London. I gave it a 4.5 out of 5 simply because nothing in this world is perfect but between you and me _ it's a 5.
Been to this place for my anniversary dinner and thus expectations were high..Also wanted to try a proper french cuisine.Just loved the food...Only the french onion.soup.served was a bit of disappointment..The service was commendable...especially the hostess who served us was really friendly though we were the.last customer.for the day....The 4.5 rating.is because of french onion.soup which should never go.wrong being a french restaurant.

I went to London for a weekend, a quick stop to meet some of my relatives. We went to Côte brasserie on a Saturday night, and it was quite crowded. The restaurant atmosphere is great, the music is good and it was mainly frequented by groups of friends. The staff was great and overall we had an amazing experience, because the food was actually very very good. As a starter we had very good fougasse and amazing calamari. Great wine and steak as main dish. I strongly recommend this restaurant
We tried the lunch special. The muscles were absolutely wonderful! The risotto and the Cod were very good, however the stake could use a bit more work... It lacked a bit of taste! Overall however, the whole visit was enjoyd by all three of us. The service was phenomenal!
A classic brasserie, although Cote is a chain and they have restaurants in a lot of locations in London, This restaurant feels local and unique inside they have a great atmosphere. The service is great and I thought that the prices were reasonable for what we were having.
So Simply French. The ample baskets of Sourdough baguette with French butter are hard to resist but the free range Les Landes chicken simply roasted to moist perfection is to die for! The Soho location is great for pre or post theatre and if you are entertaining oveseas visitors a meal at an outside table at Hays Galleria Riverside will long be remembered.
I think this place is excellent value for money where the food and service is consistently good. I eat here at least once a month.
Authentically french, but....... Eating here was a delight but requires patience. Despite the service - which was both inept and glacial in its pace - I will return because the food was very good and very french. My main course of steak hache and frites was simple, mouthwatering and less than a tenner. You eat here as you would in Paris.
The venue is authentic, unfussy and avoids the usual cliches.
Highly recommend but only if you can turn a blind to dodgy service in pursuit of the perfect frites.
Although Cote is a chain and they have restaurants in a lot of locations in London, I think that they've still managed to maintain the classic brasserie look and cuisine. They make you feel like each restaurant is unique. I really liked coming here for lunch because although this area is quite crowded and touristy, this restaurant feels local and inside they have a great atmosphere.
They have an extensive menu and in the end their best dishes are the more simple and classic ones. I thought that their goat cheese tartine was simple but really tasty, made with quality cheese. I also had the escalope de veau which I definitely recommend.
The service is great and I thought that the prices were reasonable for what we were having.
A classic brasserie , we were waiting a bit be serve , but was worth it , the grill steak was really tender and tasty , I order personally a goat cheese salad really delicate and right portion .
The price for all dinner was reasonable but take in consideration that we didn't take wine
The food and service were exceptional and fantastic value for money (we had the set price menu but the normal menu wouldn't make a huge dent in bank balance either). Would happily have paid double for the experience we had! I had a delicious smoked salmon starter, followed by chunky fishcakes.
Can honestly say I have never been disappointed when eating at a cote restaurant, and cote on brewer street is no different.
Professional and attentive staff, clean and tidy, the basics you want from a restaurant.
Be Italians we started with some bread and olives, the bread was just fantastically fresh.
Onto starters we had a selection of calamari, salad, bread with camembert, all with clean plates within minutes.
For mains there was skate, mussels, steak and a vegetarian dish, again all fantastic, the skate portion was huge, the white wine sauce with the mussels fantastic, which resulted in chip dunking from all parties. Accompanied with two bottles of wine, no time for desert as we had to go to the theatre, 4 covers at the cost of £112, you could ask for more. If there was one complaint that came from my father, it was that they have no Italian wine, I had to remind him it was a French restaurant????
Love the food there; staff very friendly they really go out of their way to make you feel welcome, food is amazing and if you go for pre theatre menu you get good value for money. Their creme brulee is out of this world. The cream of spinach is nice and not a dish you find in many places in London. There is a good choice of starters, main courses and desserts, and a wine list to match I really can't fault the place
Great food. Great ambiance... Service was slightly on the slower side... Probably due to the rush.
Cote's always been a staple favourite of mine: a chain restaurant that you never get tired of visiting, it offers what is undeniably the best value menu in London. Dining at lunchtime or pre-theatre you can get two courses for less than £15; even at peak time, the food is extraordinarily good value. Classic dishes such as steak frites are done to a tee; the decor is nice, the service good and the wine list a delight, but what truly sells this place is its unbelievable value. Dine out in style and head home having only spent £25: there's nowhere else like it in London.

Always been a fan of Cote restaurants but our visit to the Soho Cote yesterday evening was faultless. We'd booked a table which was a good job as the restaurant was packed. Despite it being so busy they had enough staff in to ensure the service was spot on. There were always 3 or 4 waitresses nearby to assist. The food was served quickly & was cooked to perfection. Well done Cote.
Good place for a nice dinner, we went with the comedy carnival menu, and it was decent.
Even though the staff is not so friendly, they are professional and polite and the food is delicious!! The best dinner I have had in London so far.
Love the team here - fun, attentive, professional. Thanks to the team , had a lovely supper before a trip to see Jerusalem last night at the Apollo. From initial greeting till leaving we were made to feel so welcome. Cote is outstanding value - but its the people which make this Cote such fun. Thank you - highly recommend if you are in the area
Helpful and understanding staff, who were accommodating when we were a bit late due to travel issues. Good food with some great gluten free options, quick service too.
We had a meal after a show, the meal was excellent and the staff were great.
I left my wallet in the restaurant and only noticed when I got home (80 miles away). I phoned them, they had found it and put it safe. The next day I received a phone call to say they had posted it next day recorded delivery. That’s what I call going the extra mile for your customers. Will definitely return every time we are in Soho. Thanks to everyone involved.
We didn't have a booking and were given a 1 hour slot which we accepted.
After that it went a bit stale.
We ordered and had to wait over an hour for anything to arrive. Our enquires were acknowledged, but not until the ' you've got to be gone in an hour' was well passed. Very odd....
My companions food was stone cold.
Not really sure what they were up to.
I enjoyed the food, and the wine was well kept.
If you're giving messages about there being no availability, might do well to back it up with service that matches.
My recommendation? Book, obviously!
