It was nice to have lunch at Prix Fixe. I started with falaffel with hummus and salmon rillet and ordered moules frites as a main course (steamed mussels with fries).
They have a small list of desserts but I can recommend sticky toffee pudding and apple tarte tatin - both delicious!
Every dish was well prepared and staff was nice.
A winner in Soho. This charming restaurant in London's Soho definitely deserves the >90% popularity rating. The food was well presented, unpretentious and absolutely delicious. The fixed price menu is fantastic value and the service was friendly and fast. The crayfish and avocado frian was fresh, elegant and tasty, and the chicken chop was one of the most flavoursome dishes I have had in a long time. The luscious cheesecake rounded out a fantastic meal. I cannot praise this place enough. Thanks.
Went for lunch and had 2 course menu for £9.90. Excellent value. Food was well presented, portions were just right and every bite was delightful. Waiters attentive and friendly but not overbearing. Will definitely be back.
A great evening. I took a table of 5 friends here and despite me changing numbers at the last minute we were given a very warm welcome and shared a lovely, unhurried meal in a charming restaurant. We even had an off bottle of wine which was whisked away a replaced without hesitation.
Really looking forward to going back.
Must go!. Fantastic food, great atmosphere. Not much space inside though.
A fantastic restaurant! Great food, great atmosphere and reasonable prices - £1.20 per oyster as a starter - what more could you ask for?
Overall Prix Fixe is a decent restaurant, with a few stand-out dishes that I'd definitely recommend for a nice dinner. Lacks the wow factor but definitely fits the bill for a really pleasant evening out.
Prix Fixe is a nice brasserie in Soho which serves French food. Decoration is perfect, French brasserie atmosphere is respected heavy wooden furniture, old posters on the wall related to France. Service was fast, so this place is perfect if you have just one hour break for lunch. I read bad reviews about service in this restaurant, but nothing bad happen for me, s taff was welcoming and polite. When I watched the MENU I was a bit disappointed, no steak tartare with french fries on it ! While it is the traditional dish served in French brasseries ...hopefully I found duck confit (my favorite meat!!) and sausages from my hometown Toulouse.
Prix Fixe Brasserie is a lively, laid-back French restaurant in Soho with great food. I wish I had better photos of the dishes we ordered, but it was very dark inside, and I couldn’t quite get it right. There are four kinds of steak frites on the menu: Ju
With a name like that, you expect to find only set menus at Prix Fixe Brasserie. While they do have well priced set menus, they also offer à la carte. They are located in Soho, near Chinatown, so really not far from the Covent Garden area. There are table
I've been here several times with my family on a Saturday lunch/ for an early dinner. This place has a nice bistro feel to it with a good value menu on offer at £12.90 for two courses. The menu is mostly french with a few Mediterranean elements. You get lots of French bread & butter when you sit down which is complementary which is always good! The food is always good, from the roast chicken salad to the fish dishes & the sausage & mash is great. This place offers good service, a tasty lunch & good value.
Came on a Tuesday evening plenty of room for a walk in on this occasion. Lovely atmosphere and delicious food. Got the mussels as a starter 5/5, I personally love the flavour of garlic so this was delicious wish there were more! Then my party ordered steak, cooked exactly how we asked and unreal. Lots of flavour in the food so worth the price. Service was just right, friendly and happy to answer questions. Would recommend this little gem.
Came here for an early birthday celebration with my friends on a Friday night. I had made a reservation beforehand but it was very empty when I walked in so it wasn't needed.
There were 4 of us and we decided to order a couple starters to share so we could try different things. One of my friends is vegetarian so we went with the trio cheese croquettes and then the grilled mussels. Both were really nice, but I wish the garlic butter sauce for the mussels could be stronger. The mussels also weren't the most fresh but tbh I wasn't surprised since central London isn't known for seafood and for the price it was what it was. For mains, I went for the Entrecote steak with fries. I loved the garlic butter that came with it and the refreshing salad on the side. The steak was a little too rare for my liking even though I asked for medium so I couldn't finish it but the portion was huge for its price. The fries were a little soggy and didn't taste freshly fried so it was slightly disappointing. My friends went for the sea bass, duck breast and cauliflower steak which were all really good apparently so that balanced out with my main I suppose.
Service was great. One of my friends made a special request with the staff for my birthday and they came sing a birthday song for me with the desserts we ordered which was lovely. For desserts, we went with the raspberry crème brulee, affogato with vanilla ice cream and the apple tarte tartin also with vanilla ice cream. All were really good and we all agreed that the apple tarte tartin was the best of them 3 because the apple was rich and the pie was well-made and went well with the ice cream.
Overall, I had a great time with my friends there as we stayed for 4 hours and we didn't get kicked out at all since it was so empty! I would be happy to come back soon and try other things on the menu.
We arrived only 15 mins before their closing time, but the staff at Prix Fixe were kind enough to accommodate us rapidly. Despite the rushed situation, the staff were super friendly, the food was cooked to perfection and we really enjoyed our cool meal
A delicious fixed price lunch on a Saturday made our visit to London as a party of three. Worth the stop. The food was so fresh and tasty, good choices on the fixed price menu. The a la carte looked good too. Seasonal choices and good value.
Really good restaurant, with excellent French dishes! Terrasse is sunny, so perfect to enjoy your meal.
If you love very good Mediterranean food then this place is a must. Great vibe sat in the busy street. Amazing service. Attentive but not in your face. The perfect space between courses. A diverse menu and delicious beyond words! Thank you for making my 50th memorable for all the right reasons! I will be back!
Prix Fixe Brasserie was recommended to me by a friend, who inturn I recommended to friends to have the leaving dinner do. This is a great place to have a French meal, not too expensive and have various French dishes, starters and mains to try, vegetarian or meat dishes and do have lovely desserts and various drinks, alcoholic beverages and nice cocktails. Attentive and great service too. A great restaurant to have a meal for any occasion and ideally close to many theatres for the theatre goers who may want French cuisne on the day.
Although its located in a super touristic area and might look a bit like a tourist trap, this place is the total opposite. I had lunch there (menu of 2 courses in 17~ pounds). The food was really great and the service was efficient. For main I had the sea food pasta which was super great
Excellent value for the pre-theatre menu. Great food and excellent price for soho.
i have been here many many times. Foods is always high standard and great. Friendly staffs and good ambiance. Love to visit here. Always get a table even not make a booking. Highly recommended. Nice location in Soho.
Quite possibly the tastiest meal I've had in the UK. The duck salad was to die for, the crab cakes were delicious, the rabbit was fantastic, and the boulliabase was great. I topped it all off with a raspberry creme brulee and a cappuccino. Not a thing to dislike here.

Nice and cozy place with a very warm and calm atmosphere. Staff is friendly and helpful and when it’s not busy you can even have a conversation with the manager. The food is always good for the price and the menu changes slightly every few weeks. The deserts and wine list is great. I definitely recommend paying them a visit
I had the fixed two course menu: grilled mussells and also the pan fried gnocchi. Both very nice and tasty. However, my friend had the chicken which was served with COLD gravy, when it was sent back it arrived to our table ONCE again cold. So no recommendation for the chicken but the vegan dish of pan fried gnocchi (for a non vegan) was so delicious. Another friend had pig cheeks followed by a hearty fish pie. Both wurr Bloomin' marvellous.
After a day of shopping and museuming it’s time for lunch. A bit of research and here we are. As you may have guessed I like the more obscure option of cuisine I can not normally get or won’t think of cooking. Accordingly I went for kidneys as an entree. They were succulent, with a complex jus of mushroom and peppers. Tender and a joy to eat. Not too gamey and perfectly pink in the middle. Awesome
Arlene had the chèvre salad. It was crunchy, creamy and simple if flavours, well executed with walnuts, beetroot, leaves and creamy grilled cheese. Invigorating, unctuous and yum!
Mains were the bouillabaisse which was fresh, tangy and tasty. The fish, mussels and prawns were expertly cooked and the soup was creamy, tangy and totally yummy 😋
The other main was fish of the day an ocean trout. Again wonderful. Crispy skin and moist fish. Terrific
My scoring system is 3 for as expected based on quality, service, value for money and presentation. 5 then is exceptional!
I visited yesterday with friends for a little catch up girls dinner.
The staff is professional and friendly and the food was great!
We shared the octopus with chorizo as starter, WOW! Incredibly tasty
The duck was tender and juicy, the potatoes perfectly cooked and the red wine jus the perfect touch.
My friend has the chicken with truffle risotto and really enjoyed their meal.
The apple tart Tatin was also dreamy!
We also had a bottle of Prosecco and spent a total of £36.50 (4 ppl).
Will definitely visit again!
Lovely place - Espresso Martini's were fab! Service was good. Overall, it's a great spot for food & drink (house red was also very nice)
