The Ivy - London - Photo album

Wonderful place to visit on a day out in London, made the whole experience feel very luxurious. Service was generally attentive but it was quite busy so difficult to pay attention to everyone at once. I myself had the scallops and the ravioli which was delicious with the shaved truffles on top, and
Reservations suggested! We did not have a reservation, and offered to sit at the bar, but were grateful to the hostesses that made accommodations to have a seated at a table. It did seem like we were inconveniencing them even though the restaurant was half empty (6:30 on a Monday) as they did allude
Had a really lovely visit to the ivy prior to watching the mousetrap. With no reservation and only 50 minutes prior to curtain up, the staff were able to accommodate us. We enjoyed a pre-dinner drink and both enjoyed the salmon served pink, cooked to absolute perfection 👌🏻 everything about this dish
An upscale, art deco restaurant and bar in the heart of London. Staff engaging and professional. Delicious food and wine. Wonderful vegetarian menu; literally a separate menu so you don't have to sort it out on your own. Fresh and flavorful. I had the truffle ravioli. Wonderful with Sancerre!
I haven't been to this wonderful establishment for over 10 years, something happened and I thought they'd lost their edge. I'm really happy that I gave them another try as they are better than ever! The service was so gracious, friendly and welcoming from the doorman to reception and servers. The
I’ve been going to the Ivy, West Street since 2005 and I love it! It’s nice to know that the service is still excellent here. A friend and I enjoyed a lovely Royal Coronation lunch on 6 May. Service received from Kareem was impeccable. Food was delicious too!
THE place for a pre theater dinner! Seriously, it started out as a place for the patrons and actors to go for food and drink. The name supposedly came from an actor quoting a line from a song about cloning to something like ivy to a wall. Fish and chips and shepard’s pie - this should be the sta
5*! fantastic service, great atmosphere, very friendly staff and fabulous food. I booked for 2pm on a Saturday. Loved the fact that the decor is still the original style. Will definitely will be going back to try out the evening menu. We had sea base, lamb cutlets, shepherd's pie and for dessert,
Perfectly mixed cocktails great food. Service was quite good until dessert. We waited quite a while. The manager responded by comping all of the desserts. Unnecessarily generous but appreciated. The decor is very cool, a nice art-deco styling which fits the whole 1920’s feel and the drink menu. Can
Food fab. Should ask for TAP water £4.50 for bottle water pricy. + cover charge pp+ service charge + gratuity thought it was a bit much especially these days Food was very tasty We would go again
My mum and I managed to arrange a last minute booking as we were going to go and watch the mousetrap. The food was divine, the presentation was beautiful (especially the crab starter) and the service made us feel so special. I didn't know about the vegetarian menu so will need to go back to try that

Blown away by the level of service at this place. Extremely attentive staff and a manager that will go above and beyond. My wife and I ate lunch here on a Saturday. For my mains I had lamb cutlet and asked for it to be pink inside. It came out well-done. The waiter asked how our meal was going and
Nice restaurant, quite expensive although not surprising for a restaurant in London. We had a cocktail, a starter and main meal each, with a bottle of water for the table and I had one glass of wine, we shared a dessert, with a coffee each. The bill was £186 for the two of us. The food and service w
Giving 4 stars because I can not give 3 1/2. Firstly, the staff and the atmosphere of the place was absolutely superb. We had Sam serve us and we was very sweet and caring. He gets 5 stars. Starters, wine, caviar and champagne were all amazing. For mains we got shepherds pie, and it’s meant to be th
Lovely ambiance in its classic location, the service was prompt and very attentive. I sat at the bar which is a great place to people watch. I ordered the fish and chips which was big, crispy, and fresh, with mushy peas which was a welcome addition that you don’t see always with this dish. I had a a
