Best Burgers I’ve ever had! Tastes so good, and the fries are incredibly delicious! Also, the wings are a must! Officially my favorite burger place!
This place was a nice surprise! The burgers are super yummy, the meat is delicious, by the way, as all the food. The restaurant is well decorated and the staff very nice. :) Worth the visit!
Fresh and Yummy burger. I liked their beef burger and definitely I will be back. Burger is fresh and delicious. The service was good also. I recommend this restaurant
I spotted Honest Burgers on my walk from Kings Cross Station to Travelodge, where I was spending the night, and decided to grab a quick lunch.
I was immediately taken in by the very warm and friendly staff and given a comfortable table with a street view.
My server made useful suggestions when I told him I am a vegetarian. He also ensured our food arrived quickly when I mentioned my hurry. While the menu is small and has only 1 vegetarian option, it was very well made and satiated my hunger. The burger was scrumptious to the last bite. The accompanying rosemary potato chips were delicious. I also enjoyed the house cocktail.
Great and affordable experience at Honest Burgers. 2 cocktails and 2 burgers cost us £33.
Coming from Dubai we have just as Much burger joint as in London therefore decided to order a burger.
Ambience 4/5
Nice atmosphere and loved the way the interiors are it fitted the concept well.
Food 3.5/5
I loved the choice of Gluten Free bread and decided to have it with Grilled Chicken the burger itself was really good but missing a element for me maybe a sweet chili sauce or a home made peri peri sauce ! The Fries are probably the best I had for a while.
Service 4/5
No complains all was smooth
This is my current fav burger place in London. Burgers are great and chips also decent (the other branch tends to have too many crispy end pieces for my taste). The staff are extremely friendly and courteous! Recommended
Honestly good burgers. There are a whole bunch of burger joints popping up all over london over the past couple of years but this one is one of the better ones. It looks like any other decent chain with clean displays, clean floor, but the burgers are really decent. The beef is of a higher quality and the whole experience comes to you in a nice big plate with rosemary salted chips. The beef is aged and tastes just right.
A good place for group dining
A beautiful place to sit and have a good chat. Yummy Burger. And super yummy chips. Serves gluten free food as well. Love the place. My friend says they serve best chips of the world.
Amazing decadente burguers with the ever best rosemary chips! Really good, my go place to eat burguers definitely.
I had the vegetarian burguer that was really "meaty" and tasted the meat one with cheddar.
Having been here twice i'm a bit torn. The first time was definitely not great: slow service, cold soggy chips and a curry sauce that tasted like it was straight out of a bottle. The second time however turned out quite well: fresh chips and decent ingredients going in an all round good burger. Hopeful its a sign of good things to come.
I have been walking past this place for the last couple of years, always making a mental note to eat here, but never getting around to it until now.
A friend and I wanted a burger, and we decided to enter here.
The place was full, and a waiter said that it would be a wait of about 15-20 minutes. Since we were famished, we asked it we could eat at the bar counter, which fortunately had two unoccupied bar stools. He said that would be fine, and we perched ourselves, and perused the menu.
We both decided to have the Honest burger, and also ordered a side of Onion rings to nibble on while waiting for our burgers, and 2 ciders to wash it down with.
The onion rings arrived first, and the portion consisted of 6 large onion rings which were perfectly cooked and delicious, but let us wanting, and dis-satisfied with the size of the portion. It was poor value for the 3 bucks they charged for it.
The burgers arrived and were perfectly medium, and tasted quite good, but my preference in burgers leans towards the fatty side, and the meat in this burger was too lean for my taste. This one was akin to a lean hamburger steak in a bun. The rosemary salted fries which were served with the burger were exceptionally good and left us wanting more when finished.
Despite the burger not being to my taste, it was quite good, and is sure to satisfy most customers. I plan on asking it to be made well done the next time I go there.
After flying into London City Airport, making our way into Central London to leave our luggage at Kings Cross Station, it was definitely time for some well deserved food. We had plans to go see Wicked that evening so we needed something substantial that would fill us up, keeping the hunger monsters at bay. Honest Burgers did just that.
The classic Honest Burger restaurant... But with a stunning room downstairs near the cuisine where you can watch the guys do what they do the best : BURGERS !!!
This was the place I choose for my last meal in London after 3 months of trying so many different places. The burguers are always amazing. I had the tribute but also tried the Fritter. The tribute was amazing and the fries were as always hot and crunchy. The Fritter is a great choice for vegetarians. I also had the bbq chicken wings and the onion rings that were indeed on spot. What makes this honest the best when conpared with the others is the space, very big, very well located and a very nice service. The best place to have a Burger in Lindon, honestly!
I like what Honest Burgers are bringing to the London burger scene, good honest burgers, no thrills, no gimmicks like over sauced paddys, just plain goodness of a burger that delivers on taste..
Oh my.
I went to Honest Burgers with my friends as one of them came down from Uni and it had been a while since we last saw each other. Recommended by a friend of ours, she took us to this restaurant which sat at a corner of the road.
The wait for the tables was long 15-20 minutes, a bit ridiculous - but my friend said it was worth it and Oh my it was.
Shown to our booth downstairs, a waiter came immediately and asked for our drinks. Being students and cheap; water did us just fine. 5 minutes later another waiter came to take our meal order.
I ordered the Fritter Burger, because it was the only thing which didn't contain meat and my friends had the Honest burger. The wait wasn't too long, and upon arrival I was already salivating.
The Rosemary salt chips was of a generous portion - crisp, fluffy, salty and flavoursome. The exact same verbs that I would use to describe the burger. If you can't handle your spice, then I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. It had a spicy kick to it and I'm afraid to say the cucumber yoghurt did not tame the spice.
I can't fault the experience; the atmosphere, service and food was on-point, although I think they could have a wider vegetarian option or chicken option, but I'm just nitpicking.
£26 for all 3 of us, but I'm sure if we all had "drinks" it would of been a lot more.
Always a hot contender for best burger in London, Honest Burger‘s fifth restaurant is refreshingly accessible compared to the Brixton Village Market original. It’s just over the way from Kings Cross station, and rather than having to wait the larger part of your adult life to be seated, there’s about five times the number of tables up for grabs.
Rustic would be the adjective of choice for the food here. It leaves the yank-inspired stuff to the Papoutsis joints – none of that candied bacon and brioche bollocks here, just ultra simple patties made from Ginger Pig dry aged beef, served in a bowl with a mountain of skin-on chips. And it’s amazing.
I had the signature honest burger which comes with smoked bacon, cheddar, red onion relish, pickled cucumbers and lettuce. The patty is cooked to a perfect pink (unless you ask otherwise) with a noticeably coarser, homemade texture than your gourmet diner stuff. The bacon was crispy and they’d softened but not completely melted the cheese on top, just right for me.
B tried The Rib Man special. A quasi-Godlike being in the street food world, it was primarily his Christ on a Bike chilli sauce not his meat on show. The courgette was a nice alternative addition to the smoked Applewood and bacon. I would would have more been interested to see people’s faces had they gone with Rib Man’s legendary Holy Fuck sauce; I had gleefully watched another friend almost go under at Street Feast last year as a result of the stuff.
With the HB brand rapidly expanding over the city, long queues will hopefully be a thing of the past. There’s love in their burgers that you don’t get other places, and those rosemary chips are crack-pipe moreish. Two big greasy thumbs up.
I have to say, whilst it was a really rushed meal (my bad, double booking myself) Honest provided me with the fastest, friendliest service, and most delicious, good value burger and chips (and wine) of any burger chain I've ever been to.
Honestly (...) The staff at the King's Cross branch are so lovely and helpful there. Sadly I didn't get the names of anyone but I'd almost go back there just for the service. And I have no idea what they do to the chips (lime? Chives?? I can't even properly identify flavours any more!) Were truly sublime.
The fact they did gluten free buns was a massively refreshing change, most places they offer 'slaw, or just plain serve without a bun, no discount & no by-your-leave. And interesting the gluten free bun was actually nice. A rarity in my experience.
I plumped for the cheese burger, nice and simple, some lovely greens, a slice of good cheddar, a dollop of onion relish and the most perfectly cooked and flavoured burger I've had since my housemates last did a BBQ (about 2 weeks ago).
Honest, you have won yourself an unreservedly loyal new customer.
Last week Honest Burgers announced that they would be giving away 500 free burgers on the 14th of December for the opening of their 5th location in King's Cross! After a week of reading many retweets from their loyal followers, I headed to bed, secure in the fact that I would head down and grab one for myself today. However, this morning arrived and somehow I had managed to oversleep and was met with the feeling of dread that I would be arriving to huge queues and in turn, leaving with an empty stomach.
When I arrived fifteen minutes before the grand opening, I of course saw the giant line building up the road, even whilst I walked towards it.
Luckily I met @FDoverLDN @annixontong and @Heisenburger1 in the queue so I wasn't alone. Also Rosemary Salted Chips were handed out to reward those feeling the chill as they awaited their free burger.
Having always said that I would never queue for outrageous durations just to get a free burger, I was almost about to leave when the queue started diminishing at a faster pace. I stuck it out for a few more minutes and was soon inside and pretty chuffed with what I found.
It had a minimalist, shabby chic look with the infamous Honest menu board for all to see. It has actually been a while since I've eaten at Honest, so it was cool to see the other options they've added to the menu since my last visit. I started things off by ordering a Traditional Lemonade to wet my whistle whilst peering over the menu.
Owen and Joel opted for the Honest Special (Christmas Burger) - Beef Patty, Deep Fried Camembert, Smoked Bacon, Cranberry Sauce & Rocket. @annixontong came up with a cheeky suggestion though and asked if the Federation burger was available. This is the double patty version of the bacon cheeseburger, which wasn't actually advertised on the menu! Even more so, he then asked if he was able to get a Deep Fried Camembert in there too! When the waitress said that that was perfectly alright, I immediately added another to the order for myself!
I couldn't actually believe my eyes when it arrived though, it was a beast! Stacked high with a knife through the middle to stop the tower from toppling over.
So after all that queuing, I think you will agree that the wait was worthwhile! If you work or live in the King's Cross area, I'm pretty confident this will become your new regular for your burger fix! Head on down now, it's open and ready for business!
Enjoy!

My first time visiting the UK and this was the first place I stopped for lunch. The burger was fantastic, made fresh. Fries were great too. The staff were very kind and friendly as well. I got a nice view outside from my table. I would definitely eat here again on my next future visit!
A perfect burger place. Not even overexaggerating. Burger are juicy and tasty. Chicken wings are tender with a one of a kind mayonnaise. Must have is the beef & Bacon gravy. A bite of heaven. I will recommend this place over a birth to this world. Must visit even if you do not fancy a burger.
I really enjoyed my food. The chips were perfect crispy and salty and I love the rosemary on it. I ate burger with pesto and chicken and It was amazing choice. I drunk lemonade and again was perfect. I am really happy about customer service, staff was really nice and polite. I like the green colour on walls and the peace of designe. I really recommend this place! Experience value for money!
Stopped here the other night while waiting on an overnight train to Edinburgh. If you didn't know it was a chain, you would never know as felt very unique and independent which appreciated. The food was very good and were very knowledgeable about gluten allergy. Majority of their items are gluten free including the onion rings! The rosemary salted chips were amazing. If American, they are similar to smash burger, but 100X better and highly recommend.
I recommend sitting downstairs near the burger grill. It feels more intimate down there. Fantastic burger. I'm a fan of the sweet relish. Definitely in my top 20 burgers.
First stop in London and it did not disappoint! Burgers are amazing, salad had awesome flavor, fries(chips) were perfectly seasoned and crispy! So glad we stumbled onto this delicious gem! The street view was great for watching too!

Best. Burger. Ever. I might honestly have had the best burger of my life here. The atmosphere is lovely, very much like a proper London pub. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a little bit pricey, but again: such amazing food. A definite recommendation from me.
Great service by the staff, food was good but came out little cold/lukewarm because of how busy the restaurant was with many orders. This was dealt with appropriately though by the team👍.
Would recommend, thanks Victor and co. nice atmosphere inside
Fantastic food and service! I am intolerant to gluten egg and dairy yet was able to eat Honest burger in a bun with chips and salad and a lovely mint lemonade. It was do good! Must be 10 years since I've had a burger in a bun. Would highly recommend.
