Absolutely delicious food and a very fair price especially for where it's located. The menu is a bit small but the food they serve has been almost perfected. Servers very accomodating. Great atmosphere too. Highly recommended!

45 Jermyn Street Restaurant is a great spot for a business lunch. Buzzy but quiet at once and centrally located in Mayfair. The Welsh Rarebit and the chocolate bomb were great and the other dishes were good but not outstanding. Sadly service left a lot to be desired as our waitress was somehow clueless......It is a lovely setting but much better for lunch than dinner.

I'm delighted to be giving the first review.
This used to be the Fountain restaurant, full of pastel shades and busy for breakfast and lunch but never well know for dinner.
It's had a complete makeover and it's absolutely beautiful, go there quick ! The ambience is just perfect - lower ceilings, soft warm lighting, nice background music, great seating in sunburnt orange leather, with lots of booths. And a great looking bar at the far end for just drinking, gives a nice buzz to the place but not too loud.
The menu is amazing, just the right quantity of items and some unusual dishes like deer and also a good vegetarian selection.
For starters we both had octopus with borlotti beans and chorizo, so tasty !
To follow I had steamed halibut with leeks and caviar and new potatoes; my son had partridge with polenta and artichoke, both great dishes. Had a carafe of Chianti - the wine list is superb.
Service was very attentive, with lots of waiters. We spotted a celebrity chef and her family in there - Monica Galetti - which must be a good sign.
A great experience and I'll definitely be back again soon.

The room is nicely decorated and the seating (mainly banquettes) comfortable. The acoustics aren't great, owing to the hard surfaces and the paucity of anything to absorb sound. If you're near anyone noisy, you'll probably struggle to hear the conversation at your own table. There's excellent (concealed) air conditioning and a large hepa filter running too - a welcome addition in my view. The food was good - the mushroom and gruyere omelette was generously filled with wild mushrooms and gruyere, but was slightly overcooked. The avocado was ripe and well-seasoned, but slightly too cold, which was jarring on a warm plate. The accompanying virgin mary sauce was excellent as was the butter. If the prices weren't as high, I would give the food a 5/5, but I think it's not quite good enough to merit that at its price point. Coffees were slightly disappointing - the beans tasted tart, which suggests an overly light roast being used for espresso drinks. The tap water (served from a large, roaming caraffe) was warm, which was a shame, as it would be easy to add some ice. All in all, definitely worth a visit, but with moderate rather than high expectations.

The Beef Wellington was really good! I highly recommend it. I also tried the Beef Tartare and Salmon for starters. They were great! The service was great. There was a mix up with our food and the staff corrected it instantly! We were very impressed with how they handled it. I highly recommend 45 Jermyn St. we will back soon! Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Vibe ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Price ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nice restaurant! Not too loud at lunchtime in our nice tucked away booth. Service was incredible, portion sizes were generous, plus lovely warm complimentary bread to start! Worth a visit. Definitely would return.

Their beef wellington for two is absolutely amazing... best in the business! Coming here is definitely a treat - the service excellent from greeting to leaving. Thank you so much for having us - much recommended and will be coming here again.

Very busy and quite loud on a weeknight. The food was excellent, though, especially the Beef Wellington, and the way it was prepared in front of us was very cool. I loved the show cooking element. The dover sole was also really good. The sauce with the capers was delicious. Only letdown was the service - we tried ordering a couple of things to share for the whole table (including the wellington), but the menu is apparently not made for sharing and our waiter was not very accomodating. That might be a one-off experience though 😊 Also note that the place is very expensive.

Came here for breakfast on a Saturday. Plenty of room. We ordered the rarebit and the eggs benny. Both very delicious and well priced. Have also been here before work in the week, which has more of a “buzz”. Have and will continue to recommend to anyone for breakfast! Will be coming back!

This is a consistently good venue serving excellent food. I would have given 5 stars, but I had a sirloin beef roast, and the meat, whilst excellent, was underseasoned, and the roast potatoes were tough rather than being crisp on the outside. I have visited the restaurant a number of times, and this is the first time I've ever found anything not quite up to standard.

Visiting from the states, and 45 Jermyn St. caught my eye on the Google reviews / maps. So glad I made the decision to make this the first restaurant to break me in. Will come back to try the beef wellington. We had a tour coming up, so we could not save an hour's time for the preparations.

Topnotch service. i felt looked after throughout my meal even as I was dining alone. They kindly accommodated me even if I came a few minutes earlier than my reservation (it was raining outside). Food was good and filling. I had the Cumbrian sirlion and a negroni. I hope that in the future they would offer smaller (or for one) options of their popular main courses that are currently offered only in bigger portions. Sometimes I prefer lighter or a slightly smaller serving when dining out and if I have a later appointment in the evening. Overall, I would recommend this based on reasonably good value menu and great service. Note: This review is a belated post. Actual experience was on 10 September 2022.

Booked this restaurant for a Birthday dinner for my boyfriend. Lovely interior and we were greeted by lovely, friendly staff who offered to take our coats and gave us a metal cloakroom card (fancy). Got shown to our table. Even though it was close to the tables next to us, and we could hear the conversations around us, we didn’t mind. I ordered the Fortnum sparkling tea and it was really nice and the right balance of sweetness, without the alcohol. Cranberry juice was a bit too sour. We were going to order the beef wellington to share, but was told by the waiter that it would take an hour. This was not mentioned anywhere so it was a little disappointing. Would have booked the table earlier if we knew it would take so long. So instead ordered the lobster spaghetti. It came out really quick. They prepare the dish at the table for you, so it was a great experience. The portion and taste was delicious. Well presented. We both enjoyed it. Though not that much lobster. We ordered the apple crumble soufflé for dessert with vanilla ice cream and it was amazing! We would definitely order again! So eggy and light and apple throughout. The ice cream cut through the eggyness too. Because it was my boyfriend’s Birthday, they gave us a plate with complimentary chocolate, and upon leaving the staff gave us a little box to take home. Really cute and thoughtful. A huge shoutout to such lovely, warm, welcoming staff. Really made the experience memorable. The waiters were knowledgable and the welcoming staff were super friendly and chatty. One thing was that it gets noisy and busy in there.

We had the best dinner of ours lives. From the moment you walk in you get treated with nothing less then 100% pure perfection. The food was carefully prepared and meticulously presented. This restaurant is an absolute MUST!

Despite the somewhat diner like atmosphere, the restaurant has a certain charm. The service was on point. The food was outstanding! In particular, we've sampled a few Beef Wellingtons around London, on this trip and this was by far the best... prepared perfectly, with table side flambé of the au Poivre sauce. A savory meal for two!!

This is a very pleasant place for breakfast. At 9am lots of well-dressed clientele but we were welcomed in jeans and sweatshirts. The scrambled eggs on toast looked delicious and the chap at the next table had his with caviar. We opted for the eggs, spinach and tomato with ricotta, which was so good I could eat it all day! It was a lovely treat and I would go back.

Went there for my wife's Brithday. Top quality food ingredients, great service and good ambience. It was not cheap but some of the wines were of good value. For example, we had a carafe of a Musar 2000 for under £80. They sell a d'yquem from the 90s by the glass too. In short, a good wine list. Good cocktail menu too. It is rare nowadays to find a place that is so full of history but able to maintain its quality, rather than just living in its former glory.

Beautiful place for brunch in London. Quiet and classy, their eggs royale are delicious. It's a tad on the pricey side but worth it if you are looking for a special place to celebrate something

Classic restaurant part of Fortnum and Mason. Went specifically for their "wild" selections. Game Bird did not disappoint, but might be too overpowering for some diners. Dishes were very enjoyable, and portions were very generous. Even the small portions we ordered were quite big. Will want to come back to try their caviar dish where they do table service scrambled eggs. Quite a "posh" experience.
