One of the most extensive menue. Fresh fast service... Their naan bread was so fresh and hot as their oven is right there at the entrance š. Go there as a group of more than two so u can share and enjoy. Would have given more but the waitress was not very professional
The most delicious Persian restaurant around the world! I was in London for a visit with my husband and tried it and get addicted to it! Cant find another Persian restaurant that offer the same level of delicious food of this restaurant. One main reason of visiting london again is visiting this restaurant!
This place has a simple aura and immensely clean environment. The highlight of this place is the delicious food. We ordered, Chelo kabab momtaz. Chicken was succulent and minced lamb was well seasoned. Rice were also well cooked. On top of it, such HUGE portions. Their breads are worth trying! Do visit!
This Persian restaurant offers food that is a great deal for money. the portion sizes are gigantic. The meat is soft, tender, juicy, full of flavors and is cooked to perfection. The staff is both welcoming and attentive. The place is clean and is a great option to satisfy your hunger when in a hurry.
I have been to this place a number of times and never once have I been disappointed. The food is excellent, especially the lamb which is cooked to perfection. The desserts are pretty amazing as well. The food is quite reasonable which makes this place all the more attractive. The drinks were also pretty good. Thus, I would love to visit this place again and would recommend others to try it as well.
I have been a regular at this place since years now. The food is delicious and is very well prepared. The meat is of supreme quality and the portions are quite enormous. It is well suited for large families, rather than intimate dinners and lunches. I would definitely recommend this place.
This is one place that you should definitely give a try if you happen to be around. This place is almost always busy so try to get a reservation. The staff is amicable and quick. The food served here is very fresh and a delight, especially the bread. All the food items we ordered were lip smacking, especially the mirza ghasemi. It was all served in huge portions as well. The tea was very soothing. Definitely worth more than a visit.
The place serves Persian cuisine and was opposite our hotel, so we decided to give it a try. The service was great here, and the staff was extremely hospitable and friendly. The food was delicious and absolutely delectable. The portions of the food were also massive and the price completely justified the quantity and quality of the food. I would surely visit this place again and would definitely recommend it.
My experience at this place has been a mixed one. I enjoyed the food. The naans were very fresh and soft. I loved the chicken skewers and the lamb. They were a delight for my taste buds. The serving of the dishes was huge and it was enough to feed a family three. Now this was the good part of the visit. The bad part is that my toddler son broke the vase on display to pieces. We got really scared as to how much we would have to pay for it. To my relief the owner was courteous enough to not charge anything from us because our driver was his loyal customer. I would recommend you to visit this place.
Kish is a very good place to visit and I don't regret spending a single penny here. The ambiance is superb. I ordered the herbs omelette, along with the bread as a starter and it was amazing. The main course was terrific. It comprised of a lot of juicy and delicious chicken along with the rice. And the best part of Kish is that, it serves you with the best of chicken at affordable rates. Though, I didn't like the coffee much.
The place is listed as the second-best take-away restaurant in UK. The food here is absolutely delightful and delectable. All the dishes are delicious and very well-prepared. The portions of the food are also very generous and the price of the food completely justifies the quantity and quality they offer. I would definitely recommend this place.
This restaurant serves delicious Indian cuisine. The place has an inviting and enticing atmosphere. Staff is welcoming, attentive and amicable. Service is incredible. The food served is gorge worthy, delicious and portion sizes are appropriate! Quality is very fine as well. This place is unsurpassable and definitely worth a visit!
This restaurant is a perfect example of places that produce magic in the kitchen. the food is delicious and sumptuous. The prices are reasonable. The host gives you a personalized service and you feel welcome at the restaurant. The drinks are also superb. the food is well presented and the experience is unique.
If you are looking for the best Indian restaurant around then you should just close your eyes and visit this place. You will love the food and will appreciate the quality that is being offered. The spicy prawn curry that is being offered as starters is just heavenly. I would recommend you to try the Chicken which is offered in different varieties and will make you want more and more. The lamb was so tender that it just melts in your mouth. Plain basmati rice are just perfect with these dishes.
I recently tried this place and had a great time here. the food was fantastic and was cooked to perfection with wonderful presentations. The service is pretty quick and efficient with the staff being quite warm and friendly. The ambience is also pretty decent. Thus, I would love to visit this place again and would recommend others to try it as well.
If you want to try some amazing curries then you can visit this place. It is going to be a treat for your taste buds and you will want to come here again and again. You might find it a little expensive but I would not mind paying that for the excellent service. In case you are in a hurry then you also get the food packed.
We ate here on one fine evening of the 18th may. the food served was cooked well with no complaints and decorated beautifully. the service was helpful and friendly. the evening was memorable. they have a special seating outdoor's. the restaurant is a little expensive as compared to various others. But in all, it was a good experience.
It has to be the best and hence the most popular restaurant in the neighborhood. The food was delicious and sumptuous. the portion sizes are adequate. The servers are friendly and attentive. The place is crowded but the staff does not blink an eye or falters. The ingredients used are fresh.
I recently tried this Indian place and had a great time here. the food was excellent, especially chicken tikka which was cooked to perfection. The service was pretty efficient as well. The ambience was not as good, though. This is a small place and it becomes cramped pretty easily which can be quite disturbing. the overall experience was quite good as the food was exceptional. Thus, I would love to visit this place again and would recommend it to others as well.
This place has been our regular spot for as long as two decades. The food and service is incredible. The atmosphere is comforting and well conditioned for the hot weather. Lamb biryani is a regular and favourite. Chicken shashlik are a must try! The place is expensive but definitely worth it!
This has to be the best restaurant in the neighborhood even though I am not a huge fan of Indian cuisine. Mostly the dishes are floating with oil but that is not the case at this restaurant. The food is delectable and sumptuous. the service is spot on. the prices may be a little steep.
Love the boneless chicken. They have a nice range, and home delivery is just as good
Two thumbs up!
If you're in Kilburn and jonesing for some Iranian then this is the place for you. The interior reminds me of the staff room in school and the exterior is even worse but the bathrooms are sparkling clean and the wait staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating.
The food is very good and everything we ordered was cooked perfectly. Even our toddler was stuffed by the end (and anyone with a toddler knows that that is a mark of success) However, the portions are HUGE so bring your appetite or a doggy bag!
I'd say it's one of the tastiest Iranian cuisines you can find locally and I definitely recommend a visit, if you have a big appetite. Their servings are big and it's real value for money. One more little surprise they have, is a cozzy Shisha lounge at the back of the restaurant for the smokers out there.
Kish is always my first choice if I'm in the area and I'm really hungry! The portions are extremely generous. It's not just the quantity that is good, the quality is as good. The staff are really friendly and polite. They also have a small open area at the back where they offer shish, which is very nice.
All their dishes are good but my favourite is their chelo joojeh kebab. The chicken is very tender and juicy.
The only downside is the interior, its nothing special, looks too generic.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kish Restaurant, and despite the busy atmosphere, I was impressed with the overall experience. The staff went out of their way to find us a table, and their friendliness and helpfulness were much appreciated.
The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the food. Every dish we ordered was delicious. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, and the presentation was appealing. The menu offered an excellent variety of options, catering to various dietary preferences.
However, I would be remiss not to mention one aspect that fell short of expectations - the cleanliness of the bathroom. Unfortunately, I found it to be quite dirty during my visit. This was incongruent with the otherwise impressive standards at Kish Restaurant and could be a setback for those who value cleanliness in dining establishments.
Despite this minor setback, I highly recommend Kish Restaurant for its exceptional food and welcoming staff. The minor issue with the bathroom should not overshadow the overall experience, as it did not hinder our enjoyment of the delightful meal.
I look forward to returning to Kish Restaurant in the future and hope they address the cleanliness concern in their otherwise outstanding
Wow, I was totally blown away by this place! I've been living in Kilburn for 20 years but this was my first visit to Kish. Food was amazing, portions very big and service super friendly. Will definitely be back.
The mix grill for 2 which would have easily fed 3 adults. Fried aubergine was really flavoursome and meat very tender.
Authentic Persian food, very delicious and tasty, variety of dishes of the traditional Persian cuisine.
Loved everything from the freshly made salad to the delicious soups, in-house made bread (naan) to the fresh tender well maid dishes either chicken or meat.
The restaurant atmosphere is nice, with indoor and outdoor dining, welcoming staff.
I visited the place twice in this trip, they lost a star for the service in my second visit for the slow careless service; otherwise, the restaurant deserves 5 stars rating.
One of the highlights of Kish Restaurant is its incredible menu. Bursting with authentic Persian flavors, each dish is meticulously prepared using high-quality ingredients and traditional cooking techniques. From aromatic kebabs and succulent grilled meats to flavorful stews and fragrant rice dishes, Kish offers a wide range of options to satisfy all palates. Vegetarian and vegan choices are also available, ensuring that everyone can enjoy a delightful meal.
The knowledgeable and attentive staff at Kish further elevates the dining experience. They are passionate about providing exceptional service, guiding guests through the menu, and helping them make the perfect selections. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a regular patron, the staff's dedication to hospitality creates a welcoming and comfortable environment.
Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner, a gathering with friends and family, or simply want to explore the wonders of Persian cuisine, Kish Restaurant in London is a must-visit destination. Prepare yourself for an extraordinary culinary journey that will leave you craving more
Just simply wow. The best Persian restaurant I have been to. I was in London on a day trip with my family and this restaurant came highly recommended.
They did not disappointā¦.quite simply the mixed grill and the Kaboodah kebab were the best I have ever tasted & the mint lemonade was amazing. Meal was finished with the most amazing tasting Kava (back tea).
This meal comfortably fed 3 adults and 3 children
Thank you Kish for such a great end to a very tiring day
If there is only 1 thingā¦.comes with too much rice a lot wastage
So, I read a lot of the reviews on here and decided to take a chance on Kish.
Like many others, itās right across the street from our hotel, the Marriott.
Thereās a lot of 5 āļø reviews for the food, and I agree that the food is definitely 5 stars. I didnāt find it to be too expensive, but being from the USA, Iāve found most things to be cheaper in the UK.
I ordered the hummus with a basket of naan. There was A LOT of naan! Like 12 pieces! When I order naan in the US, I get 4 pieces. My husband ordered the chicken soup. It was very good. We both got a glass of wine. They are generous with their portions.
For dinner I ordered the chicken kabobs. My husband ordered the chicken and lamb kabobs. They came with saffron jasmine rice and a small salad. Itās a lot of rice! I couldnāt even eat half of it. Everything was very tasty.
The only issue we had was that after the meal we never saw the waiter again. He never came back. We were never offered water, another glass of wine, dessert, coffee, the check, a to-go box, NOTHING. Eventually I asked another waitress if we could please get the check. I saw her go over to our waiter who was by the front, point to us and tell him. Neither he, nor her, nor anyone else ever brought us the check?!? I donāt know what is going on with this place. I told my husband, āMaybe we will get his attention if we start to leave!ā So we got up and went to the front. Still, nothing. So we had to ask the gentleman at the front if we could pay. He finally obliged us.
Honestly, if youāre going to purposefully ignore your customers for so long I would not be shocked if some people were to walk out on you. Not saying itās ok but you donāt exactly act like getting paid is important to you. It seemed like a huge inconvenience for us to pay! We mustāve waited at least 20-25 minutes to pay the bill. For this reason alone I give service 3 stars. But before this everything seemed fine. Very strange.
Altogether our bill was Ā£58 including their 12.5% gratuity.
I would recommend ordering to go so you donāt have to deal with the staff since others have also complained about the staff being rude.
We were there Yesterday and we ordered Ghorme Sabzi stew and Checken Kabab with Rice and Gheyme bademjan Stew and Kabab Barg , They were all fascinating and delicious. On the top of that what an amazing service and care! Totally recommended.
Genuine Persian food and not your average taste ! Great for those who want to experience flavour without much spice. So soft and juicy off the bone lambs neck with the beautiful rice was just scrumptious.
I had the best time here on my birthday the food was amazing and the staff was amazing the food was delicious I got the platter with rice for 5 people. I would recommend everyone to come here with their friends and family
š Absolutely a hidden gem! The staff are very friendly and welcoming, special shout out to Farzan.
The food tasted great, great portions and quality all around.
They have wide desert collection, will visit again.
Stopped by for an early dinner today. Ordered the mix grill for two, and Mirza ghasemi. The kebabs were delicious, the rice fragrant and the naan was so light and crispy. Friendly people and amazing service too. We will be back very soon.
Amazing food! Iāve never ate so much in my life. From appetisers āmirza ghazemiā, āoloviehā, ākash va bademjoonā are the ones you should not miss out on, they come with freshly baked Iranian bread. Kebabs and stews are all top notch. We were assisted by Milad and he was the loveliest person! This is the place to go if you come to London
This is my usual to go for special events/meeting up with my friends and family. I always enjoyed this establishment that I have visited over 10+ times so far. I was happy with the food, the chicken and their traditional rice is always spot on and my friends throughly enjoyed hers also. However, she ordered the yogurt drink which I am familiar with and I am certain of what the taste is meant to be and I found that I strongly feel that we were given an alternative which was their mint sauce thatās served on the table upon first arrival. I had raised this issue with our waitress who understood and replaced it quickly and the second thing I had spotted is that they now charge an additional Ā£3.50 for added on barberries for their rice. I hadnāt known this as I assume this is a new rule for them & had to ask before paying the bill.
Great cuisine (large portions), excellent service and atmosphere.
Will certainly go back
Nice place with excellent staff and service, will definitely go again.
Food is fabulous and really good value for money, especially considering the location. Even better atmosphere post refurbishment. Cakes are also heavenly. We keep on returning whenever we are in London
The food is really good, we tried a plate named āmomtazā also another dish that is a hot starter but forgot its name with an eggplant, itās really good. The Iranian tea was great too! The staff are friendly and really nice, we were served by two nice ladies named Lida and Fahima.
Although it was raining and I knew the place for a few years. Now with the new expansion it looks Grand for the standards of Kilburn but it is just on the beginning of Kilburn High opposite the big Hotel. So I enjoy the meal, I sat outside to see the rain but staff considerate to my well being. The Cardamon tea was delicious after my meal. I only would like that they could bring along with the tea a small sweet as other place give at courtesy. Overall I recommend and I will return with friends. A nice outdoors to have tea with friends or breakfast. Thank you.
First time at Kish and we decided to try the breakfast since not many Iranian places serve it.
The restaurant is reasonably large, there a cakes a pasties display as you enter. The highlight of the breakfast menu for me as an expat was the Halim (slow cooked porridge with shredded lamb, served with melted ghee and cinnamon sugar). Eggs and Persian sausage were amazing as well and come with baked to order bread. Portions are very generous so make sure you arrive hungry.
Service is friendly and polite. Iāve experienced a lot of small talk with waiters in other Persian establishments, not at Kish, which is a welcome relief. To top it off they have a hygiene rating of 5.
