We headed here after spending an afternoon at the museum. We were slightly early for our booking, but were seated immediately, while waiting for our friend to arrive.

Service was lovely. They only had 2 meal menus, but since we were hungry, they allowed us to order extra starters.

The food was excellent. From starters to desserts - pate, lamb kidneys, the sea bass, lamb and duck - each one perfectly cooked. And some of the best French fries that I've eaten in a very long time.

They had some excellent wines and the whisky cheesecake was outstanding!

Wish I had found this place before my mum and dad visited, would have loved to take them here on one of their many visits to the museum.

Cute Bistro, gorgeous sandwiches. My partner and I have been to Savoir Faire a few times but we almost always get the same thing: roast beef sandwiches with brie and caramelised red onions. We love the atmosphere and have never had a problem with the service, though sometimes it's a little more leisurely than I'm used to. It's not a "cheap and cheerful" restaurant, but it's very reasonably priced for the area.

I like Savoir Faire - but I wouldn't say I love it. It does good, solid French food, at a decent price for the location and the staff are very accommodating. A friend of mine is a regular so I often go there with him but it probably isn't my first choice. Maybe it's just that French food is not my favourite style of cuisine...

I had read on toptable.com about Savoir Faire: that it was a laidback, cozy bistro with authentic French food for good value. This description sounded too good to be true, so I tried not to go there with any expectations. However, when I arrived at the re

They have seating on the ground floor and in the basement. Basement looks a bit dingy but ground floor was good. Seats are a little cranked. The food however, more than makes up for it. Everything we ordered tasted fantastic. The lamb shank did have some rough bits, but overall tasted great. The beef bourginon was so tender and delicious. Also enjoyed their seafood linguine that I had requested to be cooked in rose sauce instead of white cream sauce. Service is attentive and efficient to the point where you feel rushed into ordering, eating, and leaving. They also refused to let us sit at a table next to the window saying that it's reserved by someone, however we ate and left after 1.5 hours and no one showed up to claim it.

The beautiful decorations and cozy atmosphere of the restaurant from the outside drew my attention to the menu. I was very excited to see some vegan options, and on top of it, exactly what I wanted - vegan risotto. I could not believe it! It is not easy at all to find this dish as plant-based. Since it was already late, we decided to come back the following day. A very friendly waiter, Arrya, booked us a table by the window, as I had requested. I was looking forward to it. I went for the risotto with mushrooms and spinach. The presentation was beautiful, and the taste was beyond my expectations. It was very delicious. I was very happy with my choice, enjoyed the atmosphere and music in the restaurant very much. Definitely a memorable experience. P.S. My husband also loved his dish. The sauce was very tasty.

Lovely lamb moussaka and cabernet sauvignon but noisy and rushing. The server gave us the bill without being asked to. Our dinner lasted 75 minutes. If there is a time limit, it would help if they stated the rule beforehand. The loud chat of our next table wasn't the restaurant's fault but it surely affected our experience.

Came here after a long day of meetings, albeit good ones, but Savoir Faire proved to be an oasis of calm and civility, with great food at a price actually quite reasonable and well worth paying. It’s a quirky place with paintings and quotations everywhere (look up) and the staff are pleasant, not pushy. The duck magret with vegetables and a delicious blackberry sauce needed no further accompaniment beyond the background music. Simply delicious. Good wine list though not cheap. A 175ml glass for seven or eight pounds available on much of the range Ava’s that’s all I needed. Next time I’ll probably sample the bouillabaisse or lamb shank, as some of the specialities. Tables around me ordered a variety of dishes, all looking great. And finished off with a decent cafe au lait. Looks like they do a nicely priced two or three course lunch too. Savoir faire indeed.

Very nice dinner served by polite and nice staff. It is not very cheap but definitely worth the price. The onion soup, lamb shank and duck were all cooked well. Highly recommend to someone wants to have a nice modern French cuisine.

Used a Groupon here (paid 24 pounds to use 60) and made a reservation online in advance. Atmosphere and music were strange. Server was a little cold and unwelcoming. Fresh baguette with butter (free) was so addicting. Fish dishes were quite good (although I requested my salmon to be slightly undercooked and they managed to overcook it a bit anyway), especially the vegetables (so buttery!). My friend and I shared the duck but had to send it back because it was dry, overcooked, and tough. Second time was the charm and it tasted much better. Would come back again because of the Groupon deal but would never pay full price. Four stars for the value. Without Groupon, I probably would have rated 2.5.

Very pretty and cute restaurant, lovely vibe. My father and I had the mussels and lamb moussaka, both were fabulous. Fawaz the manager was so welcoming and helpful, and a friendly face throughout. Would thoroughly recommend a visit here!

Pretty good food and a great deal on Groupon. £20 to spend towards £40 of foods and drinks or £30 to spend towards £60 of foods & drinks. Only 1 voucher can be used on a table. You can also only order foods on the a la carte menu, not the set menu. Before your meal, you get a complementary basket of bread (slices of baguettes) with rich Irish butter. We had 3 mains: Entrecote Steak, Pan roasted Duck Magret and Poisson Du Jour (pan fried Hake) to share. We ordered a medium rare entrecote steak which was tender and seasoned quite well. The chips though were slightly disappointing, they don't look or taste like restaurant quality chips. They weren't particularly fluffy inside nor crispy enough on the outside. Its side salad was also not impressive with barely any sauce. Quite bland to be honest. The Pan roasted duck Magret/breast was well-seasoned, though could be less well-done/more tender. I love the sweet potato mash and beets sauce, they complement well with the duck. The side roasted vegetables were nicely done too. Overall a lovely dish. My favourite dish had to be the chef's pan fried Hake. A well cooked piece of fish with a rich and creamy mushroom sauce. This is what I call restaurant quality food. Yum! The service was good, though not very fast considering that it was a relatively quiet lunch service. The dinning space was a little tight and the decor looked outdated. It also had an odd, almost musty odour, especially on the way to the toilets in the basement. Not my favourite dining atmosphere I'd say. Overall, I think the food is good, although there is room for improvements. The Groupon voucher definitely made the meal a lot more affordable. I would consider coming back with a voucher but I wouldn't pay the full price to dine here. I would give this restaurant a 3.5 stars but the voucher bumped it up to a 4.

Came with groupon voucher, felt welcoming. It's a cute and busy restaurant. We ordered lamb shank and duck, both were tasty, the broccoli was well seasoned. The desserts were great as well. I felt bad for the owner that he had to deal with the weirdo sitting another table that complained Creme Brulee was cold, and left a review that it was not torched and gave one star.... It's warm on the top and cold inside, that's totally correct authentic French way of doing it, in the restaurant he said that he wanted his Creme Brulee all hot! As you can see from my images, it was torched perfectly fine. The owner still apologised as he's a customer, even though he was not doing anything wrong, he's just a nice owner. He offered a different dessert to replace it and the customer declined. Overall I'd highly recommend this restaurant!

An comforting boutique french cuisine after visiting the British Museum. Waitor has a unique humble manner. Dishes (with photos) we ordered were pleasant and delicious. Love the wall painting and ceiling quotes.

Lovely restaurant. Generous portions, very tasty food - everything was very rich, lots of butter and cream was used! Absolutely lovely meal. One star knocked off as I've had better creme brulees, it was okay but not great compared to the other courses. 3 courses for 2 & a bottle of wine came to £115 Inc service charge. Mario and his team were friendly and kind. Will definitely return.

We visited this place on a whim from finding a very generous Groupon deal. The service wasn't perfect but our server was extremely lovely and highly recommended. The food came out in reasonable time and was wonderful. The garnishes on both main courses seemed to be incorrect, and suggested they couldn't be bothered to do the correct ones (the salmon, for instance, was supposed to be fennel and was carrot, broccoli and potato) We started with the Goats cheese salad, followed by a Beef bourguignon and their Salmon dish. They were all wonderful, so, especially with the Groupon deal on the table I'd recommend a visit. It only has the upstairs cafe during the day though, which is when we went, but the nicer looking restaurant is downstairs and I assume only open in the evenings

Absolutely charming people and great food. We had good service and the kidneys in mustard sauce, the chicken salad, and the lamb shank were absolutely first class. Loved the experience

Came here for a meal for my girlfriends 21st. Jess and Lorie were incredible to us and even recommended us to some bars after. This restaurant has to be one of the best in London. The food was absolutely incredible! I went for the goose rilettes and the lamb shank and my girlfriend went for the mussels and the duck. All of the food we had was incredible so I can't recommend a specific meal. We had a bottle of chateau which was really smooth. They also brought out a creme brulée free of charge for Scarlets birthday. They treated us incredibly! It was £80 for the two of us with wine, 2 starters and mains and a tip.
