A Shepherd's Bush institution. This place has been around for some time and not without good reason. It doubles up as a breakfast cafe in the mornings. The owners, who are husband and wife, are very nice friendly hosts. I seem to remember that he is Tunisian and the food predominately Tunisian. Anyway, I love the food especially the Cous Cous dishes, where a vegetarian version is available.
I like the fact that they offer complimentary nibbles, it's a very nice touch though you have to leave space for the main. I always leave this restaurant full!
Absolutely one of the best places for Moroccan and Tunisian fare.

A slice of Morocco. I have mixed feelings about posting a review of this treasure on the Askew Road - as it's a rather well-kept secret. The service is friendly and unassuming, the decor welcoming and unpretentious and the food is delicious. I mean really delicious.

It's generally simple fare - couscous in whatever variety you like or tagine. Authentic, simple and served with smiles. What more could you want? If you take my advice you'll also get a bottle of the astonishingly reasonably priced Chateau Musar to wash down whatever delicacy you go for. A good meal for two with wine will set you back around £60 and I can't recommend it highly enough.

I love this restaurant - perfect for a large group outing as well as intimate dinners a deux. Relaxed, welcoming and great reasonably priced food.

...I have been before and I can honestly say I love this place. It's intimate, inviting, well-established and un-pretentious. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is authentic, aromatic and very affordable. Plus, you can take your own wine.

By day, it's an ordinary local cafe. By night, it's a cosy restaurant serving food from Tunisia and Morocco.

Excellent little gem tucked in Askew Rd, W12. Over the years, they continue to serve consistent high quality and authentic Tunisian/Moroccan food using fresh and clean ingredients. To start with, they offer 3 free nibbles and appetizers: meatballs, superb pickled vegetables and harissa. They have the best merguez in London. The tagines are a treat and are not to be missed. The kofta and grillades are very good. In all honesty, every item on the evening menu is worthy a try. To finish off there is a nice selection of desserts. The lemon and cassis sorbet is superb. In addition to the evening menu, the restaurant offers traditional English breakfast and a separate menu for lunch. The service is very good. The owners Frances and Abdel are warm and welcoming.

I had a lovely evening here! The owners were extremely nice and were very attentive. We were very pleased with the meal - lots of the dishes are simple but done exceptionally well. My partner adored the lamb soup as a starter and the filo pastries were delicious. I had some of the best halloumi I've ever had - soft and lightly braised on the outside from being grilled, not a hint of the squeakiness you typically get with poor quality halloumi. The honey pancake was also brilliant (slightly buttery for my taste - but my partner loved it!). I would definitely suggest this restaurant and am hoping to go back soon.

Living in London, we tend to only visit restaurants once because there are so many incredible ones to try, but this is a local place we just keep going back to. The service is friendly and very courteous, with owners who seem to genuinely care if you are enjoying your food. And the food. My God, it's good. You have to be prepared for spice with a lot of dishes but every meal I've had there has been huge and full of flavour. There are also creative choices for veggies (me) and vegans (my sister). You get a lot of complimentary starters which are actually as nice as the meals, not just a few dry bits of bread like in some joints. No matter how often we go we tell ourselves we will only get one course because it's so filling but end up getting 3 because it's so tasty! And the mint tea is truly lovely to finish with. Recommend for a quiet, delicious meal in a friendly local restaurant.

Great North African (Tunisian, Algerian, Moroccan, etc.) cuisine at a great value for money price point (menu options). Great wine menu too! I've been coming here for years and it's one of my favourite restaurants in Askew Road. I highly recommend this place for a hearty delicious dinner in a small intimate setting that is good value for money.

I used to eat at this lovely restaurant regularly with French colleagues. Having moved into the local area , we have rediscovered the pleasure of dinner with friends at Adam's. It is even better than I remember. We always receive such a warm and cheerful welcome. The menu is varied and all the food is simply delicious. Reasonably priced and beautifully presented, meals are such a treat. Highly recommended for a unique dining experience.

Excellent family run restaurant, trading for 30+ years which tells it's own story. Spacious English cafe by day, intimate North African restaurant by night. Always welcoming, with delicious reasonably priced food. Highly recommended.

I have been to Adam's café on many occasions, and to be honest each time I go there it gets better and better, the owner husband and wife are so nice and welcoming, the restaurant looks spotless, and the point of resistance the food wow just wow, it seems what ever you order is so tasty with European and African flair, I recommend Adam's café to everyone who has a good feel for excellence and good taste. Thank you so much Adam's café for making me feel so good when I have visited your restaurant. Thank you again 💓

A local gem. We eat here roughly 2/3 times a week during the day and try to get here as many times during the evening also. Amazing food, with amazing service. We recommend to all of our clients daily. Daytime menu is huge so loads to choose from, and a beautiful Tunisian menu in the evening (the brik and couscous is a winner) We love Adams Cafe x

An absolutely first rate restaurant serving authentic Moroccan & Tunisian cuisine to the local community.Having been to both countries on my travel I had a good inkling about both cuisine and was very impressed with the food quality, speed of preparation and the very welcoming and attentive service my party of 4 received. The starters were all excellent and the mains superb. The Tunisian tagine was exceptional, cooked to perfection. I’d recommend booking as the place is modest in size but you most definitely will not regret it. 100% recommended and worth the trip.

One of the best restaurants in London. The food is not only unique, but incredibly delicious. Adam's Cafe offer a huge variety of excellent food, so there is something for everyone to enjoy- at a very good price. The ambiance of the restaurant is lovely- a Tunisian undertone. Being owned and run by a family makes the experience more personal. The actual service is wonderful too- the owners work every night to ensure food is being received and enjoyed at the high standard they expect their customers to receive. One of the restaurants you would be proud to introduce your friends to. A "must visit" restaurant.

Good value, set menu Tunisian food. Recommend the warm aubergine salad followed by lamb cutlets. Complimentary after dinner tea is included. Suggest making a reservation, as this place is a firm favourite with locals on the weekend.

I love this cafe, greasy spoon by day and Tunisian restaurant by night. Daytime sees the cafe busy serving a range of cooked breakfast options plus a range of panini, jacket potatoes, and salads. All options are good. In the evening (always worth booking) the menu is packed with a range of tagines, fish and meat dishes. There are some vegetarian options. Service is both polite and helpful. A local gem

Small but cosy restaurant in the heart of Askew Road. Great Tunisian food to share a nice meal with friends and/or family. Good quality and price. If you do not know what to eat, ask for their personal recommendations. You will love it.

Great restaurant. Excellent set menu that me and the girlfriend both loved. They've also got an area in the back of the restaurant that's good for larger groups to have dinner here. Been back a few times and thought I'd share my appreciation for their great food.

The yummiest dinner I’ve had in a very long time. The fish tagine and pickled vegetables were to die for! Will definitely be visiting again soon.

Very tasty food, excellent service, good atmosphere. I had the Merguez sausage as starter and the lamb cutlets with rice and salad as mains. Too full to have a dessert. Perhaps next time!

Brilliant little cafe, only stopped in for a coffee ☕. Was warmly welcomed, offered a range of coffee options, really cheap too. Take away coffee only £1.20,with milk and sugar. Clean inside the shop, looks nice and cosy, when we're working on the area will definitely be our go to cafe for a breakfast. Breakfast menu looks reasonable and quite a few choices.
