Food: I being an Indian would say they almost match the authentic Indian style of cooking. So, no complaints at all.
Service: waiters were well behaved and food served to us on time.
Price: price tag does justice to the food served.
Given the level of hunger, lateness in the day we went (9pm) and the long day of walking had the butter chicken and naan I ate from here felt like a 4 or 4.5 if it wasn't for the following:
-no tables were available at 9pm and after going downstairs and back upstairs we were told it would be a 30 minute wait. After going for the door a different waiter said we should do take out
-take out was provided at 9:45...yes it was a 45 minute experience
-the naan was a bit burned
-my husband didn't like the chicken tikka masala or shish kebab appetizer

So we had just landed in London and were walking around the city searching for a good Indian cuisine place which serves halal food and thats when Indian Lounge caught my eye.
Located in a wonderful location right next to Kings Cross station ( one of london's busiest stations) , it looked kind of small from outside. But once we entered, the place was quite charming and the staff was extremely lovely.
We ordered some naan, madras chicken curry, normal curry, samosas, aloo tikki, kebab and pakodas for our meal.
The naan was so soft and light! Just perfect. And the curries were delicious. Everything we had was absolutely wonderful and we had no complaints at all. The quantities were huge as well! We had to pack away the rest.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. It was simply exquisite!
Can't wait to go back again!. We went out for dinner to this Indian restaurant ideally located on the other side of King's Cross. The two of us were seated on a large table while the waiter took our drinks orders almost immediately. Cobra was nice and cold. Food was delicious and they had a great variety of dishes. I went for the lamb dhansak and it was spot on. Service was attentive. We will definitely come back.
Gorgeous curry, good service. Decided to visit this place for a quick Saturday's evening tea as we were staying nearby. Can see why this place attracts such positive reviews. The staff were very welcoming and the food was really delicious. Go for the keema murgh and special fried rice. The bill was very reasonable and came with a complimentary liqueur. Will definitely visit again.
Perfect weekend meals!. Stayed in the King's Cross area at the weekend and dined in this first class restaurant late on Saturday night, the food was delicious, the service was attentive and the restaurant itself was spotless! Try the king prawn masala and kadai chicken!
We all enjoyed it so much, we went back on the Sunday lunch for more!
I would highly recommend Indian Lounge to anyone looking to eat in the King's Cross area !

Good evening. We have been there twice, two days in a row. Both times were perfect, delicious food, friendly staff. Must try the Lounge Mix starter followed by the dhaba lamb. I recommend everybody to try their house red wine.
Excellent food cooked to PERFECTION!. A great restaurant with friendly and helpful staff. They cooked the meal to our specifications and even made a special korma for our daughter who is not a fan of Indian food. Nice to see some different dishes on the menu instead of your normal Vindaloo and Madras dishes. Very popular judging by the number of reviews! Highly recommended.

Fabulous. We were very pleased to find this restaurant. We had not been to this type of Indian restaurant before but found the food very tasty. The staff were very helpful and chose the menu for us. They have hot food and mild food and the waiter is very helpful - really looked after us. The atmosphere was pleasant and the bill at the end very reasonable.
What a beauty!. Really enjoyed my meal at Indian Lounge. The staff were attentive but not intrusive, and the food was absolutely fantastic. Couldn't have enjoyed it any more. Will definitely be back on my next visit to London.

Excellent food!. I visited the restaurant with my husband as it was recommended to me by a friend. It was quite busy for a weekday. The food was excellent, especially the lamp chops and prawn pilpil Starters (which i've never come across before my visit). For main course, we had lamb shank akbari and chicken balti which were delicious and full of flavour. On top of that, service was spot on. Will come back for sure!

This is a very popular restaurant so thought of paying a visit. Visited in the evening on a weekend. Food was good and nicely served. As it's a new place it is fresh and modern .Restaurant is straight across the road from Kings Cross. The tandoori murgh was delicious. Vegetarians go for the Flower of Indian Lounge. We definitely enjoyed our meal.
What a find. We were really impressed by the entire meal. We came as a group and shared dishes among us. We took chicken tikka masala, tandoori butter chicken, guste Kabul and king prawn mouly. All of which were delicious. Must try the mouly - lovely sauce. Staff were also attentive. Will definitely return.
I had a nice quiet dinner alone and the staff were very friendly and attentive. the food was exactly what I expected and fresh. Must try the Tandoori Mix Grill with a side of Chana Begun. Overall I would recommend this restaurant to other people.
This is probably the 10th time I've visited this restaurant. I can honestly say its the best Indian I've ever tasted!! I would travel from far and wide if I was to ever move away. Service is always friendly at the end of every night. The food is superb and the prices are definitely reasonable. Would highly, highly recommend!
A lovely restaurant situated in kings cross. Sumptuous smell of spice as you enter followed by warm and friendly service. Our meals were superb, best curry in years maybe even ever (and thats a lot). Will return without a doubt and highly recommended.
Lovely Indian food! We went to Indian Lounge two times. The chicken biryani is flavourful, not bland at all. Nice halal food in good location (outside Kings Cross).
HANDS DOWN the best Indian food I’ve ever had! Everything from the garlic prawns, to the chicken tikka masala to the garlic naan were out of this world and everything was reasonably priced. The service was incredible too with the entire staff being attentive. Special shout out to Chris who is personable and funny, ushering people in from outside when they pass. There are outlets available at many of the tables if you need to charge your phone.

We usually are not fans of dining at restaurants close to transportation centers, but we were fortunate to find the Indian Lounge while in London! The menu is extensive, the food expertly prepared (moist chicken especially!) wonderful flavors and excellent-friendly service. Can't wait to return.
Fantastic Indian restaurant! Do you want great food and great service, this is the place to go! I had the Lamb Green Chili and it had the perfect about of spice and the lamb was soo tender. If you heavier eater, I would recommend to get rice and naan to go with it so you ensure that you are filled.
This restaurant is amazing. It doesn't look like much on the outside but once you're sitting down and eating, it's a very pleasurable experience. All the staff are attentive, the food was absolutely delicious. The best chicken tikka masala I've ever had.
After a busy day of exploring, I passed by the Indian Lounge and wasn't quite sure what I wanted. Chris, the door man invited me to check out the menu and suggested a lamb curry. It was exactly what I didn't know I wanted and hit the spot perfectly. The food was served quickly and tasted great. I cannot wait to return and sample other items on the menu. All of the waitstaff were very kind and checked in to make I was being taken care of. It seems to be popular with lots of regular diners, so you they are doing something right. Highly recommend.
Having been located just outside of popular King’s Cross station this restaurant was busy I visited last Friday. Foods and service are satisfactory where we wanted to have less spicy and the staff helped us to find the right one. The space is small and you have to squeeze to allow space for staffs to walk.
Excellent food, lovely staff, authentic Indian taste in every bite. Highly recommended!

The Lamb Phall is some of the best I've ever had. Truly a must try for lovers of spicy food. Be warned, it's about as spicy as it gets.
