Had a lovely taster lunch with the wine taster. Bought the initial deal using Groupon and upgraded to the wine sommelier once there. Not cheap at £40 each bit a good experience.
Nice, chic and classy place, ideal to have a nice and private chat, lovely and romantic place, the dishes are gourmet, but it takes a bit longer to be served between dishes
The food was excellent and the staff were extremely professional.
Lets start with the problem. Due to the restaurant be located inside a hotel it loses a little bit of its charm.
A part from it, everything is outstanding. The staff is not only very hard workers, but extremely friendly.
If you are starting, skip this venue because what they sell is a fantastic food experience.
Me and my wife went through a set menu with 5 portions. At the beginning when I saw the size of what have been served I thought that I had to fill my stomach later, but I was wrong. At the end of the my dinner I was feeling pretty much satisfied.
A very classy place with surprisingly cozy and enjoyable atmosphere. Lovely staff, very attentive to the details and to what you write in the reservation (if doing it online). Food is just what you would hope for! Beautiful presentation, creative textures, cooked to perfection. The dinner menu is posted on their website (not the Millenium Hotel one). There is also a £75 tasting menu (I believe the couple next to us took it, it looked lovely and definitely a lot to taste!). Overall, we had a very good dinner and a lovely evening. Very pleased.
Everything taste great except the main pork belly 👎
I took my boyfriend for a tasting menu dinner with a Groupon voucher. The staff were great. We didn't get the attitude that you get in some nice places when you use an offer that you shouldn't be there. We were served great food with good wine. I was given great options for non-alcoholic drinks. They even gave my boyfriend a little sweet treat for his birthday. I would recommend this place for a lovely night out for a special occasion.
Food was great, wine was excellent and we had some great direction from the sommelier. The ambiance is great for a nice romantic meal. The food is posh so portion sizes are small but the tastes are excellent. There are better restaurants in the same price range but we came on an offer and got great value for an excellent night.
Faultless tasting menu. Not a duff course in all 8 courses. Really good service. Could not fault. Often when a country famous for its peasant cooking tries to go fine dining, it doesn't work, but the chef managed it here.
For someone who likes italian food, I must say that their food was pretty average for its price. Service was really great, they made sure we're having a great time and is being properly served. Good job!
Exquisite a'la cart restaurant with a good wine offering. The dining room is very nice, although the bathrooms are a bit of a hike. Go after dinner, or you may not make it.
We went for dinner on Saturday and it was a unique experience each dish taste was just amizing very intense and fresh made accompanied with diffent type of wine the preparation of the plate superb the service very professional and friendly highly recommend
Wow food, wow service, wow matching wine
Avista Bar #WeHeartHitchcock
A small and cozy bar located in the fashionable Grovesnor Square serving cocktails, wine and bubbles. The deco is inviting and cool ambience perfect to start or finish enjoying a night out in Mayfair. Service is polite and friendly.
Cosy and intimate atmosphere! Great service and delicious food. One of my favourite places in London.
