Best steak sharing restaurant with bubbly wait staff doing all the menu introductions and upselling at the table. Bear in mind this was back in 2020 prior to Covid lockdown so things might change. Again this was back in January 2020 and this is the Soho outlet.

Very good personal and knowledgeable service.
Meat was perfectly cooked medium rare and not ovet-done.
The starters were just about perfect - and I don't over-use that term - excellent cooking / seasoning and flavour balance - tempura prawns, wagu tartar, tuna.
A very pleasant adjacent cocktail bar tops off the experience, and it's a very short and simple mebu, which I like.

We had tuna tartar as a starter and Chateaubriand with salad as the main. The tuna was covered in a light marinade that was accentuated by chili and black sesame. The meat was buttery and soft without being chewy. The outside was nicely charred and produced another layer of flavour. Apart from the quality meat, Zelman Meats also has an amazing side salad that beats a lot of restaurants salad mains. Light and filling.
On another visit, we had the ribs, which are full of flavour and covered in a delicious BBQ sauce. The charred courgettes are alright. The warm brownie with ice cream was a nice finish to our meal.

We had Short Rib (excellent), Picasa (very very nice) and "dirty" Sirloin (very nice) + tempura shrimps, Waygu Tartar, Burrata as starters + a bottle of Malbec. All in all on a casual atmosphere on a high table.

This is a meat lover's paradise serving many different cuts of steak. I'm not normally a steak eater but I was really impressed with the Zelman plate which has 5-6 different steak cuts which were all really tasty. We shared a platter for 5 people and there was enough to go around twice. We tried their 'all you can eat dessert' for Ā£5 which is superb value. We had the biggest slice of apple pie and their homemade vanilla ice-cream was amazingly good. I will definitely return.
This place is must go. You would be completely crazy not to. The service was very good indeed. We had a two course meal and a bottle of wine. There wasn't a thing we had which wasn't perfect. I had stopped going to UK steak places for a number of years as I could cool better. This has changed that which is great! I look forward to going back some time soon in the new year
Great steak, great sauces, great sides and wines. Used to be oysters on the menu which were excellent, unfortunately not any more but the overall menu and experience has evolved with the times; highly recommended.

Great place for steak lovers, a variety of meat choices. They have seating areas in front of the chefs cooking the meat. Chose the platter with different cuts to try them all. If youāre in the area definitely try it out.
Wonderful late lunch experience at Zelman's, loved the decor immediately with the cute sink near the till and neon lights near the kitchen. All the steaks and cuts were explained to us before we ordered. The tempura prawn starter was perfect. The sharing plate of steak for 2 was more filling than we expected so three sides was aa bit ambitious! Service perfect .
Would say, the food doesn't come over piping hot and the restaurant was cold.
One of the hottest & best meat restaurants in London , Part of Goodman's (which means you know the food is going to excellent) superb service and amazing meats , 4 hour smoked short rib is superb and in a choice of 300 or 500g plus specials like Bone in Ribeye (as per photo). If you are around Soho this is 100% worth a visit
Just an update if you get the chance try and get the seat in front of the kitchen and watch the chefs at work !

Lockdown is over, eating out is back!
We absolutely loved it!
The steaks were cooked to perfection! The truffle and parmesan cheese chips were gone in beat! Loved the wine and the service was spot on!
The venue is large enough to keep social distance while eating and all the staff wore masks.
Deft recommend this steakhouse and we will be back!
Absolutely love this place, especially Chateaubriand steak. Chopped Salad is a great choice too!

Amazing place! The service was great, the food was amazing!!! We took the wagyu tartare, classic chips, black truffle & parmesan chips, short ribs and picanha. We will definitely come back, it was such a good experience.
I donāt know from where to start I went to Zelman meats twice in three days. We didnāt have reservations in both evenings and they welcomed us like we had.
Food: Just Amazing, make sure to try the Tiger Prawn Tampura we asked for two portions in both times.
The sliced Picanha is so delicious was the star of the evening even the chips was like something out of this world.
The only thing we didnāt like was the Rib it was very dry it didnāt taste fresh.
The place is highly recommended and if you would like to impress guests from abroad just take them there and be confident that they will be satisfied.
Fabulous! The appetisers are full of flavour - try the lobster croquettes and the tempura prawns. The meat is full of flavour and the ability to mix up your types of cut and weight makes for an option for everybody. Good wine list. All rounded off with friendly efficient service.

The restaurant itself gives an environment of dim light and intimacy where you can animatedly talk to friends with an energetic but not intrusive sound track playing in the background. You are surrounded by imagery that immediately tells you about the fun, brash and alternative dining identity that Zelman Meats has.
My first course was Steak Tartar... no the best Steak Tartar I have ever had. The meat glowing with a perfect colour and the combination of piquant, acid, onion, meat and spice made every flavour note clear and enjoyable.
I chose the Beavertown Neck Oil IPA from the drinks menu. The cheeky citrus laden IPA cutting through the flavours and getting me ready for the next bite. All of the drinks seem well chosen to complement the food you will find here.
The main was a special mixed platter which toured their treatment of pork rib, brisket and dirty steak with a selection of sides. The steak (medium rare) melted in my mouth and I would have devoured it with no accompaniments but the chimichurri sauce was a perfect companion. The brisket made me doubt any brisket before could live up to the name, smoked with a pepper crust it took me to a flavour high before another douse of Neck Oil kept me going. Other flavour tangents were given by a creamy and crunchy celeriac slaw, charred sweetcorn and a spiced cornbread. Perfectly chosen they kept the meal changing and interesting. Far better than the sides I would have chosen. Finally a glazed pork rib had a sweet soft perfect texture punctuated by an intense crackling edge.
Do yourself a favour. Go to Zelman Meats, choose your meat at a portion weight you can handle, ask the friendly and knowledgable staff what would go well with it and enjoy.

Absolutely fantastic food. Steak cooked to perfection, short rib fell of the bone with little effort at all. Staff are absolutely incredible always making sure we were okay with out being over bearing and even playing with our daughter. Great place! Excellent service and food. Great restaurant in a compact but comfortable setting in the heart of Soho. Meat is exquisite and the service is really fast and efficient. Went on a Saturday afternoon and it was quite busy but luckily we booked in advance. Iād highly recommend you make a booking first. Itās not the cheapest steak restaurant in London so be prepared to pay slightly higher than average although I can definitely confirm you pay for the high quality food you will be served so worth every penny!
