Decent food, good atmosphere, fantastic service. The service was very very good.... Recommended for anyone who wants a casual environment with the hassle of bei g to restrained 😀. Great for a catch up.
Under new management and serving delicious Turkish food, in Bloomsbury, prepared by a chef who has cooked for the Queen. Antalya Restaurant, off Russell Square, was known for its rather ornate interior (apparently it took over a year to decorate the ceilings and walls). Earlier this year, it came under new management and the new owner, Resul Dogan, has big plans for the restaurant.
The new management is excellent and I noticed they added a charcoal grill which made the dishes very tasteful. I came in a very busy time and the service was nice. I would highly recommend.
Just bumped into that restaurant on the last day of easter. Was one of the best gastro experiences I've ever had in London. Had a fantastic Turkish style breakfast. You should definitely try filo pastry rolls (am told that it is called as Cigarette Pastry in Turkish).
Walked in at 1030pm on a Tuesday night. Was practically empty which didn't bode too well,but was pleasantly surprised. The mixed grill was a delight although the Lamb shank was a little disappointing. The service is great and the place has a great interior. Would certainly recommend. #zomatoday #turkish
Great food, good staff and not so pricey. I got the lunch deal for takeaway, it was delicious. Took a while for them to bring, but was worth it.
Absolutely loved Antalya, not just for their superlative Turkish food, but for their impeccably warm hearts that guide the service.
We were a pretty large group from across the globe, with each person ordering a different combination. The order was brought to us perfectly.
We ordered the mixed mezze platter to start with, that came with about 8 different dips and the most amazing bread.
For main course, on their recommendation we ordered the Lamb Iskander that was excellent. Pretty much like an Egyptian fattah, with the shavings of meat and white sauce.
We tried some of the varied starters that were arriving on the table - ordered by the other guys in our group and they were all excellent.

No frills Turkish spot in central London. Worth reserving a table or you'll wait. Friendly staff. Tried the chicken & lamb shish - good portion sizes & decent quality.
I was in the area with two hours to spare before my next engagement, I passed many restaurants, then I saw this in the distance , I decided to have a look at least , Menu looked good so I went in
I was given a great seat , service was truly amazing from all I came across, the food was delicious, if I am in the area I would return for sure , they became very busy when I was there , but the high level service stayed , so nice to find this gem of a restaurant
I visited this restaurant and was highly impressed with the food and service. The actual setting and atmosphere was amazing and their menu had many options.
I like Turkish food and have had a lot of it, more on the low quality side and I’ve always been apprehensive about finer end Turkish food but it was lovely. The lamb shish is highly flavourful and the portions are filling.
The service is excellent and I can only recommend this place. The hummus is to die for.

We stopped by to Antalya restaurant on our way to the British Museum, which is at a distance walk.
Delicious Turkish food!
We tried the borek, the hummus with lamb pieces, the lentil soup, the chicken salad, the avocado salad, the spaghetti, the chicken spring rolls, the Turkish tea, and the katmer, and they were all delicious. The food was flavorful and authentic, and the portions were generous. The service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting.
I would definitely recommend Antalya Restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Turkish food in London.

The food was absolutely amazing.
It's a brilliant Turkish restaurant with really good customer service and good food. The atmosphere was welcoming and the service was quick. Food came out quite quickly so the wait was little. We went for a work based Christmas lunch with the regular menu, and that was fine. There were about 16 of us. Would definitely recommend.
Beyond happy and satisfied with my experience at the restaurant! The food was absolutely scrumptious and delicious. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating. A huge props to the staff at the restaurant!
The private room was used by us and the staff were incredibly accommodating in this regard. We ordered several mains and all the guests were beyond satisfied with the food and nibbles given beforehand too! I personally had the lamb shank and it was the best I have ever had!
No complaints at all from me. This is definitely my new favourite Turkish spot in London! Highly recommend!

Restrooms were adequate and clean.
Groups are not always easy to manager but the staff was friendly and patient with us. I booked the private room/area for my birthday because i could play my own music. It was hard at first but then when we connected to the owners laptop it was fine.
