Good food with good service. Great appetizers and oysters. The one pound oyster happy hour is also an amazing addition. Not the fanciest restaurant, but worth a try.
There's something incredibly attractive, even glamorous, about the Oyster Bar. The idea of being able to rock up (excuse the pun) somewhere, order a plate of fresh oysters, maybe a glass or two of wine (or stout, if you're that way inclined), enjoy these things in an informal setting and be on your way without the subsequent commitment of a three course meal, or (again, if you're lucky) a wallet-busting bill, makes you wonder why there isn't one on every street corner. Surely everyone, barring those of delicate constitutions or the hopelessly seafood-averse, loves oyster bars?
Often when I think of seafood there’s this song from the Little Mermaid that pops into mind: “under the sea, under the sea, life is much better, down where it’s wetter!”. I don’t always agree with that statement, but the gorgeous website that Wright Brothers had got me hook, line, and sinker.

Me and my partner came to dine for our 4 year anniversary, yesterday evening, the food was amazing. The team was fantastic. They suggested such amazing dishes, and the wine they paired was just delightful.
I would highly recommend coming here, the team took such great care of us. The dove sol is a must, cooked to perfection.
And they even offered us a little desert on the house due to our anniversary.

Fabulous oysters the Irish ones outstanding and the scallops were simply divine and out of this world, big meaty and perfectly presented.
The Brixham special Gurnard fillet with cuttle fish ragu was delicious. The Thornback Ray perfection with sides of spring greens and the most flavoursome baby new potatoes.
Followed by sumptuous deserts.

Really low key but wonderful Fish restaurant on the main South Kensington part of Brompton Road. Ive walked Brompton road many times but didn’t notice it until i was taken there. Was greeted warmly and the staff were friendly and attentive all evening. They also have a bar downstairs which we didn’t try. Maybe next time!
Anyway, we had huge chilled seafood platter, with a whole large crab, ½ lobster, prawns, whelks. Beautifully presented on a two tier platter on ice. Oysters were at the top arranged in a circle with a kind of onion vinaigrette and lemons. All super fresh and high quality. £110 for the platter.
It was my first type trying oysters and i was pleasantly surprised, and weren’t chewy and with the onion vinaigrette topping had a fresh taste.
I dont really like crab and would’ve preferred a larger portion of lobster but overall this meal was a perfect end to a spring evening.
I had an amazing experience Wright Brothers! The freshness of the seafood was outstanding, especially the oysters and the flavours were divine. Their house cocktail, Cucumber Breeze, was the perfect blend and refreshing. Their service was impeccable, and the servers Desh and Kari took care of our every need. The ambiance was perfect for a delightful evening. I can't wait to return for more amazing food and cocktails!

We’ve been to the one in Battersea Powerstation before and love Wright Brothers but this time in South Ken was just fantastic. The house platter was so flavourful. Best Jersey Oysters. All super fresh. Can’t wait to be back.

We popped into Wright's after a day of science museum, parks and V&A. It was £1 oysters so perfect for a cheaper option with the children. We have a 6, 4 and 10 month old and the staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating of us and our rabble! They took the baby for a cuddle, they interacted with the kids, they made us feel so welcome and even the chef popped out to smile at them all. We had an absolutely delicious bottle of British fizz and they tried oysters and ate chips. An ideal bit of decadence in an otherwise kid focused day, but the main thing were the incredible staff. Thank you so much.
OmG just wonderful. Who doesn't like champagne and oysters? However, what a range of oysters to choose from! Fabulous service and excellent menu plus daily seafood specials caught literally a few hours ago. Will most definitely be back very soon...it was just too good.

Service is attentive but busy. The food used to be better before, now seems to be not as fresh as before.
A really rather nice fish restaurant. Probably as fresh as you can get. Loved the fish pie. Syllabub was beautiful. Not a fan of oysters but my partner in food enjoyed them and the rather wonderful hake. Definitely recommended
Hidden gem for me as I have never been to Wright brothers so first experience was amazing loved the oyester and prawns service was amazing manager was so cool he took us downstairs which I loved was really happy with my table seating was really comfortable bartender was lovely and the manager was understanding and took the steak of my bill as I dident eat it because it wasn't my cup of tea overall I loved it seafood was amazing
We loved it! Lately we have had one disappointment after another when we dine out. Not in Wright Brothers South Kensington. It was a real treat! The food was amazing and the service was fantastic, lovely staff, incredibly friendly. We highly recommend it and we are coming back!
I visited this wonderful restaurant and it was epic. Quality and good price. The mussels, THE OYSTERS, the octopus and a good champagne invaded my palate and made me feel one of the best moments of my life.

Imaginative dishes including the freshest array of seafood. There are some meat dishes for the carnivores amongst us although you would be mad not to indulge in the seafood options - they are plentiful and too good to miss. Great atmosphere and great service. A word of advice .- do not leave without experiencing the opulence of the bar downstairs. A big thumbs up Wright Brothers.
