This Italian restaurant is a local favourite of mine. It always has a fantastic daily changing menu and sticks closely to traditional Tuscan fare. Admittedly, it doesn't churn out cheap plates of pasta, but if you're sensible it is easy to have a starter and main course for around £20 per person. With a group it's even better because the antipasti portions are enormous and can easily serve 4 as a generous starter. The wine is outstanding. I came here on a recommendation about 4 years ago and haven't stopped bringing friends, family and colleagues - it particularly appeals to anyone who's lived in Italy and wants a taste of something authentic. I tend to find that it's hard to get a table last minute, so it's worth booking in advance. Also I learned from a friend that this restaurant is often visited by wine merchants when visiting London for trade fairs. If it is good enough for them, it's good enough for me! My only gripe is that it doesn't often open at the weekends...considering how busy Artillery Passage has become, I'm amazed they haven't taken the opportunity.
Ah, one of the best Italian restaurant in London. Fresh ingredients, delicious food. Service is so welcoming and friendly.
They change the menu according to the season to guarantee the freshness of all ingredients and it’s absolutely amazing.
Yesterday night I took my sister and mum to taste delicious pasta. The atmosphere is so calm and cozy, you don’t even feel like you’re so close to Liverpool st.
It’s also a perfect spot for dates and special occasions- cannot wait to take my ♥️ there.
We’ve been going to Super Tuscan for many years and every time we go we have delightful food and fantastic service! The consistent excellent quality of the food over the years is a testament to the restaurant. On top of that Simon is so attentive and makes sure we have everything we need. Would recommend it as a lunch or dinner spot for some of the best Italian food in london
Loved everything about this wonderful restaurant nested in what seemed like 'Diagon Alley' near Liverpool Street Station.
Food was lovely, light, and yet wholesome. They even had an earnest message at the top of their menu that spoke to the cost of living crisis and how they are still aiming to offer a fair price.
We had a predominantly vegetarian spread which was wonderful and a treat in an Italian restaurant.
Note: Their menus is refreshed regularly based on what is procurable from Italy and what is seasonal... so don't go by just what is available on Google.
Always a place I return when I want high quality Italian food. Very friendly staff and reasonable in prices. Meals are always very well executed and I am never disappointed, even though there is something missing to reach perfection and I haven’t been able to pin point it yet, I will have to come again 😀
Wines are also very nicely picked, even for the entry priced
An absolutely amazing venue for an evening. The food was out of this world, the ambiance really allowed us to connect as a group. But the staff were superb in making us feel welcome and helping make choices to try things we wouldn't have done. Absolutely first class - thank you.
Amazing ambiance with an wonderful team. Food was extraordinary good! The desserts are a taste journey to paradise.
Probably the best local Tuscan restaurant in London. Truly Italian. It was like being in a local restaurant in Chianti or Siena. Everything about it was authentic.
My mate and I found earlier this week when we met and we walked in and forced them to give us a table without a reservation. The cheek!
Very small so you must reserve but the smaller, the better.
Considering it’s a super small and cosy restaurant, we settled to eat at the bar, watching the Italian chefs cook and banter. Super cool!
Highly recommended.
The ragu and wild boar though...
Loved the wine selections as well. Staff were polite, helpful, friendly and the owners made us feel very welcome
Exquisite service. Loved it and certainly going back with my Italian friends.
The most delicious Italian food. Everything on the menu was tempting. We went for arancini, a pizzeta and truffle taglioni. All of it was perfect. Great service and lovely atmosphere. Looking forward to my next visit already.
Simple but delicious food made with fresh ingredients, lovely and quick service, and such good selection of wine! It's now one of my favourite places in the city for Italian food!
Love this little Italian spot. We keep an eye on the menu (normally updated daily on their website) for the taglioline with swordfish ragu, which is outstanding!
Orecchiette with n’duja was outstanding. Pasta was cooked perfectly. The bread was wonderful paired with burrata and prosciutto.
Really phenomenal meal.
Fantastic Tuscan food and wine, friendly engaging staff, intimate setting.
You can tell the owner cares about the quality of the food and the dining experience. If you have time, stay for the Torta!
Outstanding food, a proper authentic Italian with a great ambience. We had a medley of deserts too which were fabulous
If I could give 6 Stars on this review I would! Legit best Italian restaurant in London! Been to many and this one bites the biscuit! I just know you cannot get anywhere better. Food is mouthwatering, service is outstanding, layout is warming and inviting! If you read this review and go elsewhere, your crazy! Go now, book a table and let the try taste of Italy come to you as soon as you enter the restaurant!
Have looked forward to visiting this place for a long while and it lived up to expectations. Superb, freshly prepared Italian food. Friendly, efficient service. Recommended.
One of the best Italian spots in all of London if not the UK. outstanding menu selection and wine pairings offered. I just with they were open on the weekends.
