Very small place but read great reviews on Zomato so thought we’d give it a try.
It didn’t let ya down one bit. The wings lived up to expectations and were finger lickin’ good! The service was quick and it was lovely to see the relationship that the hosts had with their regular customers.
Would highly recommend.

Food was pretty good. Portion sizes are decent, eating the wings does get messy, especially the BBQ wings. However, it is worth getting messy for. Their chips were average, could be improved if they double cook it. Their Profiterole cheesecake is personally one of my favourite desserts of all time. Atmosphere and decor could be slightly better, also customer service could be better. Overall good place, would recommend!

StickyWings make for sticky hands. I had my first visitors to my new locale in East London and we headed along to the Zomato well-rated StickyWings on Brick Lane. From the looks of things it’s changed owners a number of times, but was hasn’t changed is that it prides itself on its wings. To the point that it actually declares itself as “Officially Britain’s Best Buffalo Wings”. Including in their URL (lol). We thought the buffalo wings were pretty good, but there’s not a lot of competition and it wasn’t mind-blowing. But it was good.

Restaurant is small in space but has a nice overall friendly atmosphere. Menu is limited but the few things they do have to offer is brilliant. Owner is a lovely person who is welcoming and warm. His wife however is not as friendly and can come across rude and intimidating at times. But food is great for an affordable price 👌

A small place with a simple menu with different types of wings available. You also have two portion sizes to choose from . The U.K. Portion comes with 6 wings and fries and US PORtion comes with 11 wings and fries and well if you let go of the fries , you get 2-3 extra wings instead.

Recommendation - try American buffalo , bbq or hot chilli wings.

My first visit to Stickywings in Brick Lane last night. Some pretty epic wings here. I went for the UK size BBQ wings with chips.

The BBQ wings here were absolutely fantastic, I preferred them to Buffalo chicken.

Had a great chat with the half English half bengali brothers that work there. Really nice guys. The place was very quiet due to the road closures around the area. But the food was simple but really hit the spot. Will try the bagel burger next time.

HMC chicken.

Best buffalo wings by far, personally not a fan of the seating and prefer to take away, but works for some. Definitely recommend ordering ahead and picking up if its a big order.

This humble urban chic looking shack is the home to one of the BEST Halal chicken wings eateries in London. The name epitomises what's on offer on the menu. The establishment is called Sticky Wings & that's exactly what you get. Copious amounts of buffalo wings slathered all over with a choice of elixir (sauces). Just writing this review is making my mouth salivate. They also offer two types of burgers. I opted for the bagel beef burger. The burgers are good, but the "piece de resistance" is undoubtedly the chicken wings. Forget Red Bull, Sticky Wings quite literally gives you Wings.

American Buffalo Wing Meal (UK Portion Size): £6.99 | Being the adventurous eater that I am, I was very eager to try the buffalo wings. There was a lot of hype around this place so thought I'd give it a try. I've got to say, I loved the wings! They were hot and crispy and delicious. The serving time was lengthy but worth the wait. Buffalo wings are definitely a yes! Foodie.007 x

Good Buffalo wings are not easy to come by in London, when well executed, it can be such an addictable item that you just can't stop eating one after another.

The food was amazing and for a really decent price as well! Service was good... The atmosphere lacked a little felt a bit substandard and crap... But the food compensates for the lack of atmosphere!

With chicken wings, as with many life experiences, you generally only remember the very worst or the very best. My personal worst is a tie between some sad little pucks of broiler poultry I had at Giraffe offshoot Chooks , which would have been bad enough even if I didn't have to travel all the way to Muswell Hill to find that out, and a box of flabby microwaved greaseballs that came free with my housemate's Domino's pizza one time. Both were not just poor but memorably inept, Chooks being a particularly lazy leap onto the chicken bandwagon, and the Domino's wings came with a vegetarian pizza. Who knows what they were thinking. As for the best? My opinion is tied there too. On the one hand there are the MeatLiquor Bingo Wings, generous in flavour and portion size, and now served with even more of their lovely chunky blue cheese dip. And there is of course the brilliant Orange Buffalo, who use mango in their sauce and whose blue cheese dip is also worth the trip alone. Both are all the

We shared three orders of the wing meal--barbecue, buffalo and jerk.  We all liked the jerk best.  Slightly sweet, with an acidic edge.  The buffalo is tossed in Frank's RedHot sauce, and the barbecue is made with a sweet commercial BBQ sauce.  Wings were large and succulent but not quite as crisp as at Bird.  The American portion is 5 more wings than the UK portion size.  You can get half and half servings with two different sauces per order.  Fries were nothing special.  We had both the ranch and blue cheese sauces and both were pleasant.  The blue cheese sauce and chips were not quite as good as at Orange Buffalo.

The deep fried corn was stunning.  A whole corn on the cob thrown in the deep fryer.  A beautiful texture, and not greasy tasting at all.  I wouldn't order the garlic mushrooms again.  These were button mushrooms, coated in breadcrumbs and deep fried.  A bit stodgy, and not much garlic flavor.

There really was a rather large quantity of mediocre chips.  Next time I will ask if I can replace them with coleslaw or celery sticks.

Situated amongst the multitude of Indian restaurants on Brick Lane, Sticky Wings provides a welcome change of scenery and taste, offering 4 different types of wing to get your tastebuds going.

Sticky Wings takes things back to basics, with a simple menu offering chicken or beef (in American or British sizes, can you guess which is bigger?) and a number of classic sides. A nice touch is the chance to compliment your meal with some of Americas more popular beers.

The pricing is as good as most on Brick Lane, and all the meat is Halal. I recommend trying sticking to the wings and if possible trying each flavour, they all have their own charm.

With chicken wings, as with many life experiences, you generally only remember the very worst or the very best. My personal worst is a tie between some sad little pucks of broiler poultry I had at Giraffe offshoot Chooks, which would have been bad enough even if I didn't have to travel all the way to Muswell Hill to find that out, and a box of flabby microwaved greaseballs that came free with my housemate's Domino's pizza one time.

Both are all the more impressive considering they've sourced or invented their own hot sauces (MeatLiquor's is from somewhere in Peckham, but like everything they do is shrouded in secrecy) - usually any attempt to steer away from the traditional Franks & butter ends in disaster.
Sticky Wings began life in the wilds of Lewisham but struggled with the lack of passing trade, staff, opening hours, basically everything you might expect when trying to run a restaurant in Lewisham. Now on bustling Brick Lane, they've at least solved the passing trade issue, and have themselves a bright and clean new restaurant in which to serve wings 4 ways, wraps, burgers and a variety of interesting sides.

First things first and if you take only one bit of information away from this post, make sure it's this - the Sticky Wings' American Buffalo wings are about as good an example as I've found anywhere in the world. They're great big healthy-looking things, with thick, strong bones and good, firm, flavoursome flesh. The skin is crisped up perfectly, bubbly and with a great crunch thanks to a deft hand with the fryer. And each are coated with a generous amount of classic Frank's hot sauce cut with butter. Dipped in some of the Sticky Wings blue cheese, they are impossible not to love.

For the sake of completeness, we tried a couple of other options. The boneless wings were in fact not wings but breasts, but were commendably moist and would make a good option for anyone too lazy to eat around the bones. Garlic mushrooms were nice and garlicky, jalapeno balls (the only item they don't make in-house we were told) had a lovely cheesy filling and were just spicy enough, and deep fried corn was dusted in some kind of BBQ rub which worked incredibly well.

We also tried a small portion of the hot chilli wings, their fierce heat generated by pickled ghost chilli amongst other things. Pickling the ghost chilli apparently tames the heat but retains all of the flavour, and it's certainly true they had more than just a dry heat; fresh herbs and spices created a complex and very satisfying effect. I'm glad we only got a small portion though - one was enough to have me reaching for an ice-cold Sam Adams.

There are more reasons to love Sticky Wings that don't have anything to do with the food. Firstly, the owners love to chat, and so service is just as much about welcoming you like an old friend as it is about bringing another round of seriously cold beer. And they won't even let you pay for said service - tips are not encouraged, but if you do insist on leaving something (as we did last night) they get donated to a local children's hospital. So you can enjoy of the best wings in the world whilst doing your bit for a good cause. I doubt anyone will need any more reasons to visit - this place is destined to be a huge hit.

The Halal: There’s chicken and beef on the menu and it’s halal (HMC). No pig served here but you can buy alcohol (though they use separate glasses for that). Watch this space as new Sticky Wings branches are rumoured to be opening in west London and the City. The owner is a really lovely chap who is so passionate about his food. He’ll always come and have a chat with all the customers which is really nice. Whats more, he tells me that they may be venturing into the world of halal steak- I cannot wait!

The Place: Amidst all the curry houses on Brick Lane is Sticky Wings- an American-inspired diner serving buffalo wings… And they’re actually the real deal! The diner is small and cosy. Their motto is to serve good food with no frills. Wooden tables with painted tile tops add a splash of colour to the blank canvas. There’s a new projector screen showing the World cup (currently) and will later show other sports such as the Super Bowl. They do take-out as well but why not take a seat and enjoy the food served hot?!

The Food: As I mentioned the idea is not to complicate the menu. They serve a few dishes but they do them well. Actually, they’re done really well. There are loads of places in London that serve hot wings or spicy wings or american wings but if you’ve ever had the real thing (and I mean proper wings in Buffalo USA!) – these come pretty darn close!

You can choose between boned wings or boneless. Then choose if you are hungry (UK portion) or SUPER-hungry (American portion)! The wings can be made in different flavours: American buffalo, Sticky Wings BBQ, Jerk Twist, Hot Chilli. I’ve tried a few of those but American buffalo is an unrivalled winner every time.

You can have your wings as a meal with fries or you can upgrade to a different accompaniment such as onion rings, coleslaw, garlic mushrooms or deep fried corn. The celery and dip is really nice to start!

If you don’t fancy that then have your wings in a wrap or in a bagel (how fitting on Brick Lane!). These come with chicken or beef filling.

NOM NOM NOM… Hands down- my favourite wings in London!

The Price: A steal at around £10 per person!

Most times it's the simple things that work the best. Take StickyWings: not only is it exactly what it says on the tin but also does it so well, and any misgivings I had over a place that only did chicken wings were immediately dismissed when our order arrived.

The simple nature of place didn't limit it though - I can see this as a place for the guys, for mixed groups and for dates. The food was solid and fulfilling, and 20 quid worth of chicken and sides was more than enough for the three of us guys who were eating tonight.

Alas the pessimistic in me can see exactly where StickyWings is heading though - either it'll go under because people will dismiss it or it will become super popular and start cutting corners. It hasn't happened yet, so I'll be sure to be checking it out as much as possible before it does. Totally recommended while it lasts and for me a brilliant alternative to the current spate of "American burger diner bars" cropping up every five minutes.

Stickywings really does stick out due to it's location. Walking down the part of Brick Lane saturated with Indian restaurants, you really don't expect to come across a place dedicated to American style chicken wings. There's nothing wrong with this, it is just surprising. The decor inside is also incongruous with the American-style with the only attempt seemingly being the flashy sign which ends up seeming quite garish in comparison to the rest of the inside. One of our group stated they must have spent all their money on the sign as the rest of the restaurant is particularly unremarkable.

Although the ambience was rather uninspiring, the food was actually quite good. Everyone was impressed with each of the different sauces on offer and the 'Stickywings BBQ sauce' definitely lives up to it's name (many napkins needed...). The American buffalo sauce however was a little bit disappointing and with 'The Orange Buffalo' a short walk up the road they are falling behind. It was still an enjoyable meal however and the fries were a nice accompaniment and didn't disappoint.

The price was acceptable. The UK size (6 wings) at £6.85 was nicely filling for lunch and there is also the option to go US (11 wings) for a few extra pounds. I think for lunch it should really include a drink as with this added to the price it get's a bit too expensive. However you can always have tap water as I did....
The food also took quite a long time to get to the table as well which for a lunch break wasn't great.... The restaurant wasn't too busy and I'm sure it doesn't take that long to fry up a batch of wings.

Overall the food was good. I am known to be a bit obsessed with my chicken wings so generally they can't go too wrong with me! I would return but I will look to try other places first!

Everytime we go to London, we always visit here! I've been waiting to have some good wings in the UK, since my recent trip to the USA. This place was perfect, casual just like in America. The menu was great, maybe just a few more side options would be great. The chicken quality was awesome. Staff were friendly.

This place is famous for its wings. I could not agree more. These were possibly the best buffalo wings I have ever tasted. In regards to the burgers, they sell a beef burger and a chicken burger. The chicken burger was on point. It was succulent and complimented the wings. The beef burger was imo a bit plain, especially side by side with the chicken burger. Fries were standard. The atmosphere was quite nice. Staff there were kind and made us feel welcome. Prices were fairly standard. So would I go again? Definately, highly recommended Take your family there And enjoy

Came here for a birthday lunch. We tried all the flavours of the wings, Buffalo, Jerk, Chilli and BBQ. Could do with more flavouring and heat (chilli). Wings are freshly made to order and they do taste sooo good. I just personally think a little bit more flavouring needed especially for the jerk, could do with more Jerk flavouring, but don't get me wrong, the wings are very nice. Definitely a must try and return to type of place. Oh and one last thing, the lovely lady who took our order was very very nice and kind. Excellent customer service and explained how everything works and was very helpful. Well done!

Wow what an amazing restaurant, my first time here and not disappointed at all. The venue is nice, the staff are very friendly and food is amazing! Myself and my work colleague popped in for lunch after hearing all the good reviews and boy they weren't wrong. I had half Buffalo and half Chilli boneless breast and he had half Buffalo and half Spicy Strawberry boneless breast and they were all gorgeous. My favourite were the Chilli ones but all very very nice. I will definitely be going back again if ever in the area 100%.

Very tender pieces of chicken accompanied by fries. The American size portion allows you to go with two flavours on the chicken which I would recommend. The coating felt like the chicken was simply cooked and dipped in a particular flavour which was a slight let down I felt. But overall was a good meal

No-frills eclectic wings place. Hugely enjoyable, highly recommended! There's not that many places down Brick Lane that took credit card - I checked first and they were happy to accommodate me. There's no Wifi but.. hey, I didn't go there to work. It's not a large place; don't be surprised if you turn up with a sizeable crowd and need to wait for space to become available - there's a mixture of small and medium tables, along with longer benches for family-sized gatherings, all of varying heights - as though they thought of each particular diner group and designed seating to accommodate every type of visitor. I'd heard they'd won awards and held their own against New York-style cooking... and have to say I was impressed at the quality of the wings: hard crispy outer with a fiery coating plus a chilli dip to the side (which had a nice chilli taste but without a punchy sting so didn't distract from the wings, a nice addendum for the chips to dip). I could have done with some vinegar for the chips plus cutlery (none on tables) for the more stubborn bites... but there are ample other condiments and napkins on the table. It's honest messy finger food. Wings, chips and beer was just over a tenner - bargain for what I got. I really enjoyed the visit and the open welcome of the staff - so much that I have earmarked this for a return visit with a few friends that are chilli freaks.

Sticky Wings is the gold standard you compare other chicken shops against. The owner and his staff members are very friendly. Their menu is short and simple but they do it right and thats what makes them great. I have been enjoying their Buffalo wings as well as BBQ flavour for about 5 years now. Occasionally, they offer Strawberry wings which I'm not a fan of but others do rave about. You should try their cheesecake too, really nice touch with the profiteroles.
