Amazing place in London. I love the food. can’t wait to come back here again. Congratulations to the staff.
I think it’s established now that as long as you’ve got a flower wall, your restaurant is going to rise to instagram-fame and be super popular. There seem to be more and more of these flowery cafes and restaurants these days in London, showcasing an extremely photogenic wall or storefront. While incredibly pretty to look at, are the food up to par as well? We tried out the famous Elan Cafe but felt rather underwhelmed with its food. As a result, despite having it on my list for ages due to its dreamy interior, I was still initially hesitant to visit Dalloway Terrace. But I’m glad I did in the end.
Our first stop in London and we were so pleased with our experience! We got the afternoon tea set and were absolutely filled by the end of it. The sandwiches were all perfect, and the sweets were super well balanced (also very accommodating of any allergies).
Our servers were absolutely lovely and super attentive, will definitely be here again on our next trip!
One of my favourite places in London for high tea. The terrace is beautiful and has a lot of fresh plants. Service is top notch and the food is great as well! The hotel itself is also beautiful, check out the pink bar as well.
The atmosphere and the terrace and decor is absolutely gorgeous, although the savouries and scones were nothing interesting it’s fine for the price we paid which was £35 per person. The pastries however made up for it and they gave some more for my friend’s birthday!
Fantastic dinner. Started with Salmon carpaccio Caesar salad and grilled prawns. Main course was lobster Thermidor, crab linguine and miso cod. Finished off with a super dessert which was their basque cheesecake. Super service and ambience
Great experience at Dalloway Terrace for Afternoon Tea. The scones were amazing. The pastries were perfect. The taste blend of the tea, sandwiches, scones, and pastries was the perfect balance of sweet, savory, rich, and airy.
There is one pot of tea for each person. You could also order additional scones and sandwiches at no additional cost. For afternoon tea, the price and quality cannot be beat. Wonderful experience and cannot wait to come back!
We spent such a lovely lunch during the Christmas festivities.
It was very charming, cozy and warm welcoming
The Christmas menu was perfect and the food great.
And what about the hotel (the coral room 💜) : just an amazing and mesmerizing historical place. Just magical. A masterpiece of old time architecture, furniture and way of living (early 20th century).
We highly recommend.
The afternoon tea at Dalloway terrace was a wonderful experience. I went there with my sister who was visiting London. It was her first afternoon tea so I was hoping it would be a good experience. I tried a few places before this one and almost all of them left me a bit disappointed. Dalloway terrace was probably the best afternoon tea I had! The Bloomsbury hotel where the restaurant is, is such a lovely place with a beautiful decor. The terrace itself is beautifully decorated with flowers and foliage and is heated. The staff was so polite and attentive. The food was delicious and we were offered refills. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. We were not rushed at all and we especially loved the lemon scones.
Dining at Dalloway Terrace would always be a stunning treat. The food is great. The service is good. The atmosphere is gorgeous. Would always see myself coming back when I'm celebrating something
It was our first time at Dalloway Terrace. It’s located in the beautiful Bloomsbury hotel.
We had the brunch menu @40£ per person. The pancakes with bacon, syrup and blueberries was delicious. We had cappuccinos which were also good. They accidentally made me a flat white at first but they were very nice and offered to make a new one straightaway.
The staff were so friendly and helpful.
Beautiful Christmas decor.
They have wall heaters on one side of the room but we sat next to the glass window/wall and there are no heaters, so it was quite cold. They do have blankets on every seat but it was my feet and legs that were cold because the floor is a type of stone/tile so it was quite cold. I’d wear different clothes next time during winter time (it was a 1 degree day). Would definitely go again.
I visited Dalloway Terrace for lunch on a Sunday with friends. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff are all incredibly polite and attentive. Water was refilled and wine topped up before I'd even realised that I was running low. The food was great and pretty reasonably priced too. The meal came to around £80 per head with everyone getting a starter, main (we all ended up choosing steak, served with chips), a side and wine.
Teatime at Dalloway! Such a pretty spot with a delicious variety of treats!
They had no issue with a tweak to their offerings to accommodate a food sensitivity
Servers were efficient and did not rush the experience
Brilliant food ,service and ambience . We had a birthday lunch at Dollaway today and I would heartily recommend this place to my friends and family.
Absolutely excellent. We had afternoon tea. Wonderful and friendly service, gorgeous room to sit in, the tea and scones were amazing, a couple of the desserts were just not quite my preference (one was too rich for me etc) but still very good. They had a good variety and good quality of items. A little pricey, but worth it, in my opinion.
Had an afternoon tea there, the service and atmosphere was amazing and the food was delicious.
We arranged our post-wedding meal at the Dalloway Terrace as we wanted a small, intimate and beautiful restaurant venue. The Dalloway Terrace ticked all the boxes. The service we received whilst planning the meal, and on the day, was fantastic and all of our guests commented on how good the food was. Highly recommend!
