Beautiful experience overall. We had our anniversary day afternoon tea here 🍵🍵 the cakes were inspired by Hockney🎨 They all are delicious, although some of the sandwiches could have been better. We were happy with the service and the place itself. 👍🏻

We died and went to Afternoon Tea Heaven! This was the highlight of my best friend’s birthday celebration in London! Franchesco had been such a lovely and caring host during our stay for high tea (he was our main host, all of the staff were kind and lovely too!). We highly recommended the option with tea pairing as it guarantees you the perfect match of tea with the sandwich, pastries and desserts. The food seemed to come straight out of an exquisitely curated art collection. They were delicious on its own (yes, they may be too beautiful to eat but they sure do taste wonderful!), then with it came the excellently paired teas which continued to elevate our dining experience. I so love the yummy Banksy Birthday cake for my friend. :) We very much appreciate it! This should and shall be the best place to create fond memories with the special people in your life.

We had Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea and had an amazing time. It’s so posh here, and the waiter made us feel so special. Sandwiches were really tasty, scones were fresh and warm. Cakes looked beautiful but the taste doesn’t match. Overall it was a great experience, and we really enjoyed it.

Flawless experience. Incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. High quality food, divine pieces of edible art. We went for the Ruinart afternoon tea and what an experience! You can take as long as you like, savoury refills, comfortable seats, beautiful surroundings and absolutely delicious sandwiches. For a special occasion or sumptuous experience, the Mirror Room is a must. One of the best quality afternoon teas in London (far surpasses The Savoy).

First time in London, I decided afternoon tea is an experience we need to try here. I am a bit picky about tea but this tasting exceeded my expectations. The tea selection was great- I would be surprised if anyone can’t find a tea of his or her liking. The selection of pastries was excellent and arranged in a proper order.

Always a pleasure and a place I return to time and time again as they update their menu regularly. I have had various versions of their Art Afternoon Tea ranging from Andy Warhol, Van Gogh and this time, Salvador Dali and it's always been a reliable place to bring guests and visitors. Do try a variety of tea as you can change what you're having for a fresh pot.

This is the most beautiful afternoon tea I've ever eaten. The presentation for every course was phenomenal and it tasted good on top of that. They change their menu every season, so I would totally come here again the next time I'm in London to try whatever their pastry chef dreams up next!

As winner of the best contemporary afternoon tea 2017, this venue has high expectations. The venue itself is beautiful designed, from the hotel entrance to restaurant and toilet facilities. Service is very good, food was tasty. I was offered refills on sandwiches but not on the sweet desserts (although free refills is not mentioned anywhere). The cakes were nicely crafted but were a bit too chocolatey for my preference. Pricey but worth a visit for special occasions

This place is gorgeous. The design and decoration of the room is so pretty. The service was incredible, our waiter was lovely and she was funny. We went for afternoon tea. The tea was delicious and the recommendations were spot on. The food was the best part though as it was so so so good. And I'm vegan! They catered for me and it tasted wonderful!! The theme was van gough and all the cakes played on this with a starry night one and a sunflower one. I didn't realise how good a sandwich could be. I went with my mum and it was her birthday so they made her a banksy themed cake with child and the red balloon which was beautifully done. It's very pricey but as a birthday present or one of for a special occasion or one off afternoon tea, I couldn't over sell.

Fabulous place, wonderful staff. Was made to feel very welcome. The attention to detail is unbelievable. Teas all were so tasty, sandwiches, a dream to the tongue, scones, perfect, the "death of an apple" took our breath away!

Lovely afternoon tea here, and the staff were very accommodating to allergies. Menu had a good selection. Security guards outside can be a bit intimidating though.

It is always a pleasure to enjoy afternoon tea in the Mirror Room. The interior is amazing. Rich and lavish with colours that are beautiful and relaxing at the same time. And you are met with fresh cut seasonal flowers decorating the rooms. The sevice is excellent. The staff are knowledgable, professional and polite. The menu is a work of art in it self. And it is truly worth your time to have an enjoyable read through it. The great selection of tea from Mariage Fréres is a treat. And even if you have the superb tea matching menu, I suggest trying the Pu-Erh with the final dish - if you are a bit adventurous. To keep this from becomming an overwhelming wall of text, I will jump straight to the Van Gogh inspired final dish. Inspired by three of his works, Executive Pastry Chef, Mark Perkins has designed some truly fantastic pastries. My favourite was the Sunflower. I suggest you find yours.

The sandwiches are nice and the artist-inspired desserts are delicate and tasted nice, not too sweet. But overall, with the food, the service and the atmosphere, it feels overpriced which is ÂŁ95 per person.

Good experience. Staff is attentive, accommodating and knowledgeable. Sequencing of food could have been better (sugar overload at the end was too much to take). Loved their scones!
