Have been here a few times - the food is okay. Overpriced for what you’re getting. The onion rings are good, pretzel good but small/not for sharing. They have an expansive beer selection. Clean bathrooms. Service is on the slow side.

Great beer, food and service. Based on latest visit can only give it 4 for atmosphere but that is my fault not theirs. We went in for lunch about 2pm and it was very quiet, however there was still a nice feel to the place. We both had a flight of their own brewed ales, 6 different ones, all of which were very good. We both had the smoky bacon jam burger which was one of the best burgers I've ever had. The staff were extremely friendly. A great lunch and I imagine when it's busy there's a great vibe. If you like great beer and food you should go

Just finished a Brewing Experience with a friend, we spent the day brewing and trying all the beers, absolutely fantastic! The brewers, Alessandro and Joe, were incredibly knowledgeable, both in the chemistry and history of beer, and I kinda feel like I am now too!

Had a nice lunch here yesterday. Got the steak frites lunch special for 10.95. Not bad at all! I like my steak rare so it was perfect. My partner had ordered this meal but said they didn’t ask how you like it cooked. He doesn’t like rare so maybe something to know when ordering in the future.

🚇 Highbury & Islington 🍺 £5.90 Legend craft lager ❤️ A happening N5 Brewpub. . This Brewpub is located just off Highbury Corner in islington, the nearest Tube is Highbury & Islington which is just across the road. . The Brewhouse & Kitchen is situated in a former Tram Shed. It was used to house the trams that ran on the Highbury to Aldwych route which started in 1906. In 1997 the building was converted to a pub and after a few tried and failed the people at Brewhouse & Kitchen took in on, they extensively refurbished and opened in 2015. . This is a large one bar venue with in-house Microbrewery. The decor here is contemporary and has a slight Willy Wonka feel to it with all the Microbrewery copper stills and gubbins on show as well as some old valves from the old Tram Shed. There is plenty of seating inside and out and lots of pop art to add a punch of colour. The servery is situated on the left as you walk in, there are pumps and hand-pulls on the counter and taps at the back of the bar. Overall the bar does feel a little enclosed due to the lack of natural light but a nice and quirky environment all the same. . Most if not all beers are in house, it is worth asking a few questions on your first time visit to find to right beer for you, there is so much to choose from. I tried the Legend craft lager, an enjoyable pint and under six quid. The food menu is American inspired and is full of comfort food, there is traditional British pub grub options too including Fish & Chips and Roasts on a Sunday. . I arrived around 7pm on a Saturday evening and the place was mobbed inside and out. There was a great atmosphere here which felt upbeat and the place was buzzing. The service was good, although it was busy, there were plenty of staff on so I didn’t have to wait long to be served. . I have visited here many times on my way to see The Arsenal. I have to say that the Brewhouse set up ticks so many boxes. Loads of beer, tasty food and a great setting, definitely worth a visit to see for yourself. . ℹ️ Info correct on visiting 22.04.23

We were given a gin experience visit to the Brewhouse & Kitchen by our children as a Christmas present. It had taken a long while to use the voucher but it was well worth the wait. Visiting on a super hot Saturday everybody was really welcoming and went out of their way to make our visit one to remember. We had really good pub food (burger and chips) and a beer from the wide range on offer. We then settled back to enjoy a two hour comprehensive talk (and plenty of trialling) on all things gin. Charlie the host could not have been more helpful, knowledgeable and friendly with his delivery. A great way to spend an afternoon.

Great selection of beers. The nibbles were nice, haven't tried the food yet, although the menu looks promising. The atmosphere is great for drinks after work, not great for a dinner type of thing. The staff is friendly and helpful

Had the most amazing time on a Beer Tasting Experience. Hamish was a fabulous host, very friendly and knowledgeable. Seated with another couple, very relaxed atmosphere, great fun. The selection of beers was superb and the food was lovely. Thanks so much Hamish for making it a great afternoon. Would definitely go again.

Upon arrival there was no one around to seat us. I had to ask at the bar a few times before anything happened. Once seated, the service was friendly and helpful. We had the craft beer flight experience - 3 x one third pints and a burger - all of which were excellent. It was a Monday night so quite quiet.

Great pub building and staff and they kindly reserved our table for rugby upstairs with others which was great. The food wasn’t quite up to expectations and had obviously been left from lunchtime as roast was warm and roast potatoes were not roast pots! They had been left to dry out so had to leave them as were inedible. Such a shame as could have been much nicer. I enjoy the pub and easy reach of Emirates stadium. My partner enjoyed his salad.
