Rules Restaurant - London - Photo album

Location: Rules location is ideal, situated near Covent Garden, making it a convenient choice for those exploring the area. Food: If you're looking for traditional English dishes, this place is a must-visit. I highly recommend trying the roast rib of beef with Yorkshire pudding. Ambiance: Dining a
Had a wonderful lunch here and had the Chicken Pie with a side of mash and also the Rules cocktail, maybe the best pie I've had in London. Service and attention was amazing, everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion or a spoil yourself outing.
Simply the best London can offer. Staff are ever so accommodating and professional. Never be afraid this place is too fancy, the staff will put you at ease. And yes, you step back in time, in a sumptuous setting. I choose something different to eat each visit and have always been delighted. Oh! Als
Over the years the charm still exists and the staff still top notch. My first game season visit and I'd recommend a visit. Love the corridors filled with the restaurants history and the decor of old English. London's oldest restaurant and still going strong .
If you want to know what is traditional English food you are welcome to come in for the dinner or lunch. Delicious food, outstanding service, staff attentive to all small details, exquisite table setting and endless wine list. All these you can find in The Rules, which was established in 1798. In Oc
The oldest restaurant in London. Beautiful atmosphere. Excellent food and if you are lucky you have the Hungarian lady for your service…which makes everything perfect.
It truly is an enchanting English experience. The staff were friendly, food was served in the perfect timing, prepared with great ingredients making it heavenly! I could definitely feel like this is the oldest restaurant in London through the ambience.
Our favorite restaurant in the world. Food is always stellar and the service is second to none. Tried and true for both. The menu changes frequently enough to always be exciting.
The staff are so nice. Highly recommend arriving early to your reservation to get some drinks in the conversatory. Wouldn't recommend the sticky toffee pudding (it wasn't mad but for a one time expensive meal I'd say go for something else). Overall, well worth a meal there
At least once in your lire you have to try here. Tradizionale british food in a traditional atmosphere. The 《 steak and kidney pie》tastes perfect to a foreign. Beer is served very well. Do not forget potatoes 《dauphinois》. Come and try.
The vibe, staff, and atmosphere are great. The food is tricky to select a good one. I got a stake and kidney pie. It was like a smoked brisket you may have in Texas. However, it was not smoked. It had some mushrooms and kidney slices. It was delicious.
Had a very friendly drink at the bar while I waited for my table to be ready. The Gin & That cocktail was delicious. Dinner on the ground floor was much more structured, but the service and advice was impeccable. Decor is very busy, and distracting from the elegance of the experience.
Very yummy! Caesar took care of us and was a delight. They were very accommodating with my husband's food allergies. Highly recommend stopping by, especially if you are from the US!
Stunning service, delicious food. So much flavour. We were in heaven. Yes, it’s pricey but it is totally worth it. One not to miss.
A must-experience in my book, I loved it, service was impeccable as was the food. Excellent cocktail selection, bartender was very helpful in adjusting/selecting my cocktail as well.
Sat down at 16.00 hrs as had a show booked for 19.30. I had the place, and it was amazing. The wife had the scallops, and again, fantastic the staff were there when needed think we might have to go back and work our way through the menu, many thanks to all at Rules.
A very lovely, unique restaurant. Not as stuffy as you might imagine for such a smart place. The service was beautifully old-fashioned. I went for a solo lunch because I fancied a steak and kidney pudding. They squeezed me despite being fully booked online and from that moment I was very well looke
