Worth the hype, although we got in before the line formed. Didn’t know it was that popular, but it is in a tourist zone. Great location next to a park which is next to the Thames. Great cheese and meat options and obviously some great wine. Don’t miss the sherry! While sitting outside is fantastic o
We visited here Sunday 6:30pm and we waited for about half an hour to get a inside table but it was worth! We enjoyed this bar a lot! And unlike some reviews, the cave(?) was not really noisy. The vibe in the cave was just exotic and good.
Must try in London!
Love this place, always visit when I'm in the area. Feels like a real experience sitting in victorian cellars with the rumble of the trains all around, very atmospheric. Also has a lovely outdoors seating area. The cheese and meat platters are just perfect!
Bought the voucher for the wine tasting and was really surprised for the quantity and quality of the wines and cheeses. Really nice for a gift I’d say. Went on a Saturday so there was a bit of queue which moved pretty quickly for the tables outside. No one explains anything about the wines but I thi
If u in London … u have to visit this place. Everything was 5 star. It’s romantic, we had the cheese wine paring. We were blown away and will definitely take our friends here. Staff were friendly . This is an amazing place for company events aswell. Totally in love with Gordon’s Wine Bar
We had a great night here catching up with old friends. Excellent and knowledgeable service and a comprehensive wine list. Everything you want in a wine bar. Would recommend to sit outside as the old cellar felt a bit stuffy and hot.
Worth a visit, but keep in mind you'll have to queue.
It's definitely an interesting setting but it is very very loud inside.
Food was very average and the service was not good on a Wednesday evening.
Great wine selection though!
Love the wide selection of wine 🍷
There’s no booking so you will have to line up (not a short queue)
The indoor is quite unique but defo not enough seats there. Outdoor is just by the park: atmosphere is nice but usually full of people.
Everything was served quickly: wine and food. The staff seemed
We had a really good time at Gordon's wine bar. I mean, who could say no to dining in a cave!
Had a glass of Picpoul and a glass of Riesling while waiting for our table. Had their French board and a bottle of Viognier (Languedoc), both lovely!
The energy in the bar is fantastic.
Highly recommende
Absolutely excellent experience at Gordon’s Wine Bar and can’t wait to return! We had such a blissful and relaxing afternoon grazing on cheese and meat boards, and drinking delicious wine outside along their little side street.
The wine selection is extensive and full of delicious grapes. The chees
The Gordon’s wine bar near the embankment tube station in London 🇬🇧 is in my opinion a perfect place to grab delicious wine and charcuterie as well as cheese tables.
They have a huge quantity of red, white, rosé wine as well as champagne. The staff is very friendly and the terrace close to the park
What a lovely place Gordon's Wine Bar is. Located next to the Victoria Embankment Gardens, its setting is ideal for a warm summer evening. It's quite large with lots of tables, so even though we visited around 19:00 we only had to stand in line for 15 minutes. Great selection of wines and snacks! Ve
The London Underground just isn’t for the tube, it’s also for wine!
In the heart of London lies this quaint wine bar, tucked a couple feet underground. Great music, phenomenal wine and food, and great atmosphere all around.
The staff were very friendly, which is rare nowadays during the stress of
Really nice wine bar with good service. Only thing is you will have to wait in the queue to be seated. A nice 2 slice cheese board and a bottle of white wine just under £20 per person, great prices and service
A must-do. This wine bar is next to Embarkment Metro station. Tucked away in the crevices of London. You can feel the history splashing off the walls. Lots of different wines, port from the barrel and tasty snacks alongside. A little too oppressive? Then, weather permitting, you can always sit aroun
We have been here two times and we really enjoyed our moment. We had our our wine and some sides and sit outside. It is a very nice place especially after a long walk.
A go to place for wine lovers in London, really recommend doing the tasting board that is on their website but not on their normal menu so ask for the 150 year old tasting experience with cheese 😋
Exceptional list of wines & cheese. They have a really cool interior that almost feels like a cellar and a beautiful outdoor patio that backs onto the park. No matter where you sit you'll be impressed with the atmosphere and most importantly the wine!
I LOVE this place!! If there’s a wait to get in, wait. It’s worth it. We sat outside under the awnings and ordered 2 glasses of wine and 3 cheeses, which came with baguettes and some other accoutrements. It was just the perfect little spot to relax after walking all day! We came around 3pm and there
