This is the best cheat meal there is ♥️ we really enjoyed their new fried chicken burger 🍗🍟🍔. We've been here a few times and it continues to be consistently satisfying and the chips are top 3 selected. Great meal for #datenight. Follow us and get more great datenight ideas #moodiefoodies #foodies
The burger was quality but the chips....... the chips are on another level. Perfectly seasoned and fantastic texture. It should be called 'Honest Chips'.
One of the best burgers that I ever ate. The mood in the restaurant is also great and the staff really helpful. As a group we arrived a bit late in the night, but the staff received us really well and not rushing the dinner
Really nice burgers with a very good range of beers! The menu is very small but quite good and if you are vegetarian they have a nice option for you! The place is nice and is always a bit full special at dinner. The price is acceptable being around 15 pounds. The service is kind and very fast.
On my way to Eurostar I wanted to swing by the new Bone Daddies in Old Street and take advantage of the opening 50% special off food. Unfortunately the lunch queue was too long so I had to settle for a quick burger next door.
It’s been a long time Honest Burgers – the one and only time was all the way south in Brixton and I remember thinking it was good but not better than some of the other competitors.
Next on the Burger hunt was Honest Burgers this weekend. New to the Old Street area and next door to Ceviche, it was time to check out this slowly growing group. Hidden on a side street off City Road, you could miss it if you blink, but then it makes for a relaxed setting as it was not pumping and busy when we went.

Going back to Honest Burgers after almost two years, I was curious to see what the menu looks like now. It seems not much has changed, the menu is simple and straightforward with a few burgers on offer and a few sides to choose from.
I decided to go for the Tribute burger with chips and it did not disappoint. While the bun was a bit oily at the top to start with the burger was tasty and I really enjoyed it.
I have to say though, just like the last time I went, the chips are the star of the meal. They are Rosemary flavoured and crunchy and if I were to choose between them and the burger I would definitely pick the chips hands down.

The interior is compact and cosy. I love the little two-seaters right next to the window, as people watching is a favourite thing of mine. It is also good for solo dining. There are not enough places where one can feel comfortable grabbing a bite to eat solo, but this is definitely one for your list
The menu was brought to us by a bubbly waitress who talked us through the regular items and the special of the week. The menu is simple, split between chicken, meat and veg. I like that it does not go on forever and just breaks it down to a few staple items.
Jackie, my dining buddy, went for the special, a Beef patty with chorizo, smoked cheddar, jalapenos and lettuce. She enjoyed it and was happy with there being just enough kick, without eyes watering and stinging tongues. I had the Cheese burger with red onion relish, lettuce and Stilton (you could also choose cheddar or red Leicester). Could have done with a little bit more Stilton as I love blue cheese.
All burgers are served with rosemary salted chips which makes Honest Burgers really good value for money. The patty was cooked medium rare and was actually a nice piece of meat with not too much fat. It tasted good to me and had been properly seasoned. The rosemary salted fries were a little too salty for me, but an interesting take on what could be just normal boring fries as a side.
The whole experience was nifty, having quick service, food arriving promptly and us being out the door before you could say Burger Tour. I like this little hidden gem, its close by and certainly an option to fill your belly after a drinking sesh at The 3 Crowns pub across the road.
Bravo Honest Burgers, but please don't go the route of so many other chains (cough Gourmet Burger Kitchen and Byron) and lose the individuality, attention to detail and more importantly, a good patty in your bun. Which smoothly brings me to my parting words of wisdom, Patty & Bun is still my favourite burger place of all time, but Honest Burgers is currently the second favourite.
The burgers here are amazing and the prices are very good considering how full we were afterwards! I ordered the Beef burger which was really nice. It’s a plus for me when the service was also great and the playlist in the background was super nostalgic. Had a great time here :)
Honest burgers has been a top 3 burger favourite of mine in London. The burgers are cooked medium as standard but you can opt for well done. The rosemary fries are possibly the best chips I have had (you’ll love them if you like rosemary but you can also ask to remove the rosemary salt). Each burger comes with chips and are between ~£10-£15. I recommend ‘the honest burger’ for first timers! Also the chipotle mayo with rosemary fries is a great combo…
The best burger chain in London I’d say! Tried it once before, awhile back, was craving the local chain more recently due to an Insider video I believe. Wasn’t disappointed - got the double smash burger, rosemary chips, and “cheesy gravy” on the side to make my own poutine. Seasoning was all on-point, loved the onions and gherkins on the smash bun too - good service and chill atmosphere as well.
We had the best service from Epe!!The food was delicious!!a medium rare burger with rosemary salt chips🤤 the biggest aperol sprit I have ever seen before and the nicest environment!!🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠
First and foremost, the ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting. The rustic decor and cozy seating created the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. The friendly staff greeted me with genuine smiles, making me feel welcome and appreciated right from the start.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the burgers! Honest Burger lives up to its name by serving up the most mouthwatering and honest-to-goodness burgers I've ever had. The menu showcased a delightful range of options, from classic beef burgers to creative and unique combinations that intrigued my taste buds.
I decided to go for their signature beef burger, and oh boy, was it a game-changer! The patty was cooked to perfection, boasting a heavenly char and a succulent, juicy center that burst with flavor. Each bite was a heavenly blend of high-quality ingredients, and I could taste the dedication that went into crafting this masterpiece.
The toppings and accompaniments were equally impressive. Fresh, crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and tangy pickles added a burst of freshness, while the melted cheese created a luscious blanket over the patty. The bun was soft yet sturdy, and it held everything together like a perfect burger embrace.
What impressed me even more was the attention to detail and commitment to quality. Honest Burger takes pride in sourcing their ingredients locally and sustainably, and it truly shows in the taste and texture of their burgers. They use British beef of the highest standard, and it reflects in every mouthful.
Aside from the incredible burgers, the sides were equally noteworthy. The rosemary-salted fries were addictive, and I couldn't get enough of their crispy perfection. The homemade rosemary mayo was a divine dipping sauce that elevated the entire experience.
To complete the meal, I indulged in one of their craft beers, which paired wonderfully with the flavors of the burger. It was evident that Honest Burger goes the extra mile to curate a thoughtful and well-rounded dining experience.
Lastly, the service was exceptional. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, happily answering any questions I had about the menu. The food arrived promptly, and the overall dining experience was smooth and enjoyable.
In conclusion, Honest Burger is a true gem in the world of burgers. Their commitment to quality, the delectable flavors, and the inviting ambiance all contribute to an outstanding dining experience. If you're a burger enthusiast seeking an honest-to-goodness burger experience, Honest Burger is an absolute must-visit. I can't wait to return and explore more of their delectable offerings!
Good little burger place! Plenty of seating inside and good choice of burger options on the menu! I had the Chill 2.0 and it was very very tasty! Also the fries that Honest do are something else!
Drinks menu is slightly limited but then again this is a burger place! Unfortunately loses a star as food took over 30 Minutes to arrive AFTER my drinks. Seems as if their priorities are takeaways and delivery drivers.
As someone who’s dined at an Honest Burger before I wasn’t surprised by the discretionary service charge added to the bill. But I can imagine this may catch a few people out. Due to the wait for food I was slightly reluctant to pay but did anyway.
Overall not a bad shout if you fancy a decent burger, fries and all the typical sides!

I love Honest Burgers! Good value as all the burgers come with a side, and the fries are really good!. I recommend the double smash with bacon, and also the BBQ mayo dip for the fries!
I really quite enjoyed this establishment. The menu design was lovely, it was simple as not too many items on there so you don’t waste time choosing and the staff were friendly. My one little quarrel is the fact that it was a tad bit cramped in the part where we sat, it wasn’t an issue as such it just felt odd because we were right next to the bar. The food though was absolutely amazing, well priced for London and taste was irresistible, I am normally a slow eater but demolished it.
Could not fault the staff lovely, polite, welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Do not treat you like just another sale. I had the chicken burger and rosemary fries which were devine. The fries are good in small doses, eat too many and the flavour becomes a bit much but I did enjoy them.
Juat tasty simple honest burgers. They are quite filling and come with rosemary chips at a reasonable price. There was a lovely lady on Sunday that made us feel quite welcomed in spite of showing up quite late.
The wine list and beers are quite disappointing though.
A nice burger place. There is a nice children's menu, but the adults' menu is slightly limited. The service is fairly fast and they have nice rosemary chips.
Great staff, great food, and Great environment! I am from the states and was looking for a good place for a burger on our last day in the UK, and Honest burgers did not disappoint. I got the "Honest Burger" and my wife got a Fritter and both were delicious. The fries are absolutely addicting. I will be returning if I ever make another trip!
