This was the first time I ate Japanese food and I was amazed! The number of vegetarian and vegan options were mind blowing. I enjoyed the spinach gyoza, tofu katsu curry and some vegetarian sushi I can’t remember the name of. Highly recommended
As a sushi lover, I always look for an opportunity to binge into my all time favourite delicacy. Tried Yo! Sushi for the first time and honestly I’m not that floored by it, though it really tasted great, but maybe I was expecting more and I couldn’t figure out what exactly was missing. But still , if given a chance, I’ll surely go there again to try out some more platters especially. Way to go !! 🍣😍
I was pretty excited to visit this place and finally decided to go there with friends.
I like how the food comes out on the trails and you can pick up whichever you want. Although if you are easily tempted by food like me, you can end up spending a lot. I liked most of their food and had a good time. The 3.5 rating is mostly for the good memories I have there with my friends.
I finally found a sushi place with conveyor belt tables! And it was great, I love the concept - even if you still had to order manually when something wasn't coming around (like any kind of Maki basically). Great variety with very tasty alterations like fried onions on the california rolls. Only downside is, that it's very expensive - you pay up to 5,50£ for very small servings. It tastes amazing though - so good for an expensive Japanese snack, not so much when you're really hungry.
Went to the Yo Sushi St Paul's for a Sushi making masterclass. Had an absolute blast! A 2 hour class (which ended up lasting 3 hours) where we learnt to make 6 different classic types of sushi. At the end of the class you get to eat the absolute mountain of food you've made and take home a rolling mat and recipe book. This is a must do!
Had a great night at Sushi School with Michae teaching us (not sure on spelling, sorry 😬)
All the staff were lovely and really accommodating. Our group arrived late and at different times after being held up at work (& a bar)
We made loads of sushi and a wide range, Michae was so kind and helpful.
It was very relaxed and a great night with added prosecco. I would definitely recommend the class to anyone as a great night of fun and really interesting.
Great value for money and fun.
Our second best Yo sushi restraunt (or is it just 'yo' now). Nice location right opposite the steps to St Paul's. The service is to yo's usual high standard and the food is awesome, especially the street food. Great for vegetarians too, although if you order the delicious fries don't forget to ask for it without tuna flakes.
Brilliant sushi making experience on Saturday! Michal was a brilliant teacher and made it a greatly enjoyable experience. Made 6 different types and very surprised by how easy it was. Would highly recommend, I will definitely be attempting to follow my booklet to make some at home. Thank you Michal!
Amazing sushi course! We did lots of different types of sushi. Very complete! And you can eat it as you finish or take it home. Very filling. Michal was a great teacher. 100% recommended 10/10
Nice place for a quick meal. Conveyor belt options are pretty limited, I prefer food from the al carte menu.
Service was so good and well attentive by Antimo. We really enjoy our early dinner. Prawn stars roll got my 5 star also thank you for the person who made it.
Very nice sushi bar to get fast service, eat and move on. Prices moderate, location good to have a break in walking around
Great location, right in front of St Paul’s Cathedral. Food was very good, service and atmosphere could have been better.
A great branch of Yo Sushi. We went during a weekend evening for dinner and the service was very quick. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed watching the chefs prepare the food. There was also a sushi making class on at the rear of the restaurant while we were there, and we were able to watch from our seats!
Will definitely visit this branch again.
We went for a sushi making experience and had a really good time. The trainer was funny and good teacher. Made a lot of sushi, and learnt some new skills. I have only eaten the food I made, which was decent, but I imagine the food they make and prepare would be even better, so you can't fault. Great location as well.
Slightly different, but I went here for the sushi making course. It was an absolutely excellent experience and the chef who taught us was very knowledgeable and helpful. The sushi we made also tasted amazing. Definitely recommend attending this course. Very reasonably priced
This is less a review of Yo Sushi as a restaurant and more of Yo Sushis sushi making course/class. My fiance and I went along for a date night and it far exceeded our expectations in enjoyment and food. We got to make a lot of sushi and the rookie mistake I made was to eat it all there so I didn't have to carry anything home, I was so full after that. The instructor was lively, animated and friendly and really made it easy to follow along and prepare sushi. We really enjoyed the process and all the tips and stores we learnt. Highly recommended.
Best yo sushi experience we’ve had! We were seated early despite having a later booking, service was incredible and assistant manager was very friendly and tentative. You can tell the staff truly care about their customers.
I just had a very pleasant dinner here with my sister.
Lovely atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff; chatting with the chef Peppe (very entertaining) and being helped by Monika (super sweet and professional) .
The quality of the food is very satisfying and there is also some good options for vegetarians like me.
Surprised by the bill, thought it was coming more expensive but it was actually more than reasonable so very happy about that too!
