Stunned by the variety of ales they have, I chose to sit there to enjoy mine rather than going upstairs. Although my selection of an ale was pretty good, I still don't remember it's name. An old-fashioned ambience and feel of old British bars have been kept intact inside. The seating upstairs was more comfortable as compared to the one down but still spending time with great locally brewed selections and friends there will be worth it. I would have rated the place as 3 due to uncomfy seating but the options of so many ales just kept me inside for a while.
Kind of a nice place. Very friendly hosts seriously, it feels like coming home with different people around you. These lovely vibes here will get you going all happy. Try this place if your around here at least once.
Such s cute pub. Thy have a little hidden street in the back which gets crowded after 17:00 with everyone drinking beers. It's a really fun atmosphere and the beer choices are amazing! Go go go!
Excellent beers consequently well respected by the CAMRA crowd. This pub is always packed, yet service is always prompt. As shocking as it may be to other pubs, they have the right number of people serving. Do not come here looking for a gastropub though as the only food you get here are sausages in baps. What do I mean only! The sausages are top quality, top taste and all in a soft floury bap.
The Harp is tucked away just out off of the main hustle and bustle of central London, and offers much more than your standard London pub.
The amazing, ever-changing selection of Ales from both international and well known/up and coming London brewery's makes this a perfect place for seasoned CAMRA Ale snobs and complete Ale novices alike.
From Hoppy Craft beers, so your Dark Porters, it has the lot, and the staff are more than happy to let you try and range before you buy anything (Hic!)
The warm, friendly atmosphere all year round makes you feel incredibly welcome
They also serve their own locally sourced Gourmet sausages which really need to be tried to be believed.
I love this pub. The atmosphere is excellent. It meets all of these criteria and is undoubtedly one of the best pubs in London! The range of beers and ciders is unbeatable and has some very strong scrumpies! One of the advantages of this place are the sausages. You must visit this place! This is very popular with locals, but tourists get a very good reception.
The Harp is a pint-supper's paradise, conveniently located near Trafalgar Square and selling excellent beer and bar food. The feel is of the traditional London pub, with a lovely interior in dark wood and plenty of comfy seating.
It gets extremely busy after work with drinkers spilling out in a crowd often five deep into Chandos Place. Forget sitting down after 5 PM, though the well practiced bar staff manage to keep the wait for that post work pint down to a manageable length.

Great little pub. Traditional feel, small and compact yet can fit plenty people inside. Definitely a pub directed for those attending the theatre but that didn't stop me. Fantastic beer and cider selection from various breweries. Fast friendly service. Great character and charm about the place.
The best cider pub in London, and it’s also got a really cool setting right next to Trafalgar Square on the Chandos.
Has introduced me to many good ciders over the years - they always have a rotating selection on tap or in the fridge behind the bar, and you can ask to try them before you get a full pint as well.
Best pub in London.

A famous pub with a fabulous touch of classic. Fresh and strong beers, they really focus on the beer being exceptional. Small but perfect place to have a walk and stop for a pint.
Arrive at the right time and there is no better real ale pub in London imo. Early in the day is the best time to go - have a seat at the window and watch the world go by as you sip on your beer. Upstairs seating and some standing space in the back alley also exists. Lively at times, chill at others. It’s a classic must-visit venue. Conversation provides the background soundtrack here and you’ll never find yourself competing with loud music. Top notch and friendly bar staff.
Great local bar in Covent Garden. Only beer, no food except nuts. The beer selection is great and fair prices with friendly service
Super chill afternoon drink with my mate.
Vibe and the atmosphere are amazing, especially the beermat wall deco stand out the most.
Great pub in covent garden 🇬🇧
The pub has two floors, they offer a large variety of beers we had the Guinness (amazing) and the price are correct, the mood and atmosphere of the bar especially on match days is very nice.
Small and cosy pub in London with a great selection of cask ales and ciders! Can't believe we stumbled on what may be the best pub in London if you're looking for a friendly place to have a drink and a chat with friends. Warm and classic decor - and especially loved the vast array of tap labels pinned to the bar! Lovely spot!!
Gorgeous decour. Kind & courteous staff. Beer is kept absolutely perfectly. Not too expensive for a tourist area. Thoroughly recommended. Kernel love.
Small popular bar.
Well worth a visit, great real ale. Although often crowded it's worth squeezing in. Has a friendly mixture of tourists and Londoners. In the current CAMRA Good Beer Guide 2022, I always visit when in London. EDIT July 2023 Still in GBG 2023. Still my favourite London pub. Unlike many London pubs (I know its a southern thing, flat beer) the fantastic Dark Star Hophead had a proper head on... Went in for 1 had 3.
PS If too crowded downstairs there is an upstairs room.
