Amazing place in London. I love the food. can’t wait to come back here again. Congratulations to the staff.
Beautiful place for drinks and having fun. Very popular in the night. I love the design and the aristocratic air that the place gives. I will find good selection of gin and cocktails.
Travelling into London at a young age, I recall my best friend telling me that she could not wait until we were older so we could dress in ball gowns, fur, heels and go the Ritz! Apparently, this was what we were meant to do as Adults…aspirations lol. Nevertheless 13 years on, unfortunately, my friend was ditched, and after date night dinner at Novikov, we decided to go to the Ritz for after drinks. What’s the best choice of drink after sushi? I normally would recommend wine or something sparkling like Champagne or prosecco but that night, a gin-based cocktail was my choice. After a few drinks I spent the rest of my evening gawking at the amazing interior of The Ritz, can I just move in, like tomorrow?...
The bartender and all the staffs are super friendly and fun. Its a beautiful posh bar at the Ritz hotel. They make fabulous cocktails do visit if you are in Mayfair.
For my birthday, we had made the plan had been made to go to The Rivoli Bar and have the Iron Lady cocktail in honour of the great Margaret Thatcher; a woman significant to us for several reasons. The menu describes the drink thus:. Here we pay tribute to a peerless figure of British politics, “This lady’s not for turning.”
From the moment you step inside, you are met with a charming,
gentle ambience, top-class service and a calm, pleasant dynamic. The Rivoli bar
is cosy, with an almost ship-like feel, and decorated with beautiful Laquelle
images sculpted into the walls.
There is an interesting selection of cocktails, with many providing an entertaining and informative description, indicating not only the tastes and textures of each tipple, but also the fame and magnitude of the Ritz itself. For some brut bubbles, sip their very own house Champagne, or try ‘Puttin’ on the Ritz’ for a sweet
and citrus cocktail with a kick.
All customers are provided with a complimentary tray of delicious nibbles; salted almonds, queen olives and herb biscuits. As would be expected, no corners are cut; everything here is designed to provide
visitors with a sublime experience. A live band performs in the
restaurant during evening dinner on Fridays and Saturdays, whilst the afternoon
tea room serves tea until 7pm, for those fancying a tardy teacake.
A classic and classy environment and a wonderful experience,
the Ritz will transport you away from the bustling streets outside, into a
world of old-school style, sophistication and luxury. Sit back, enjoy and try
to avoid looking at the bill.
For a touch of elegance you can't go past the Rivoli Bar at The Ritz. As the liveried doorman holds open the doors, you immediately feel like you are stepping into another world, unless you're really loaded and can afford to go to these places all the time, in which case you can probably stop reading.
From the timeless and elegant furniture that looks like it might just hold the weight of a sparrow to the lashings of gold and many huge ornate mirrors, even the foyer is a sight to behold.
The bar itself is to the right and is just as glamorous. Decorated in Art Deco style it is what you would expect. Wood panelling, decorated mirrors, antique furniture and leather armchairs if you can get one. There is most definitely a dress code here so if you want to get in you'd better have your suit and tie on guys. Luckily for me I had just been to an event at Buckingham Palace hosted by The Queen (true story! ), enough said.
The drinks are not your average high street prices for sure! To give you an idea, the cheapest glass of wine is £14, cheapest champagne is a house variety at £19/glass and cocktails are from £19 too.
It is fair to say that we enjoyed our surroundings, the staff were pleasant but not obsequious and although we only could stay for one drink it is an experience that we recommend everyone should try, even if it IS just on a special occasion.
Amazing way to treat yourself with a close friend or your partner.
The service was impeccable as you would expect..
All the waiters were really attentive.
Cocktails were perfect!
Lovely atmosphere with live music coming from the hall that’s shared with the restaurant.
Dress code is smart but casual, no need for a tie..
Paid around 25£ for each cocktail but definitely worth every penny.
Thanks Michele for the really careful and friendly service!
The service and atmosphere tells everything. Loved a glass of champagne after a super cold beer. They poured a a bit of champagne for me to taste before too! Also they served a small nibbles on arrival. Thanks. Good to experience this place while visiting London.
We went there to celebrate our friends’ engagement news with some champagne. I liked the overall “The Ritz” experience. They even iced our glasses before pouring the champagne, so that was a nice touch. We also tried their espresso martini, which was delicious. The hotel and all the vibe felt all really fancy however the decoration of the bar can be enhanced. It felt a bit outdated compared to the rest of the hotel. Overall a pleasent experience.
Once again a great experience. The staff are wonderful and the drinks are spectacular. And, for the first time, I witnessed a very loud person sitting at the bar being patronizing and rude. The staff handle the situation so wonderfully and even gave the two individuals a Ritz' pen in an effort to calm their obnoxious behavior. The staff makes all of the difference here. This is my 'go to' in London and I would highly recommend the 'Ritz 110'.
I spent my wedding night at The Ritz 20 yrs ago - time has moved on - life has changed - BUT - The Ritz is still the Ritz & I love it

You can’t beat the Ritz for service - we popped in for cocktails on a Friday night and had a lovely visit, as always. Great service and excellent quality drinks.
Would be good to see some more English sparkling wine options on the menu though!
Wanted this visit for a long time ....was not disappointed.... exceptional staff and fabulously lush decor.
Good vibes only!
Can’t wait to go back again to try other cocktails
World class cocktails, much more modern than you would expect at the Ritz with an elegant atmosphere. Genuine hospitality at a place full of history. For more follow my ig accountingfortaste
Despite other parts of the hotel sometimes slipping these days, the Rivoli Bar has always been consistently excellent. The staff are highly courteous, knowledgable about cocktails and wine, and the product is always beautifully presented. The interior, looking like a jewellery box combined with an orient express train carriage, makes for a great destination for meetings or treating a visitor to London.
