If you're walking along the street you would never know the gem of a pub is there. Hidden down an alley, this place is one of Londons best and oldest pubs. Good chive of drinks and the food looked nice but didn't have any on our visit. If you can find it the you definitely need to visit, you won't be disappointed.

On our recent trip to London, we stopped by this pub because of the story of Queen Elizabeth and the Cherry Tree. It was such a cool and interesting place. They actually have the trunk of the cherry inside the pub. There's so many cool photographs on the walls showing times gone by. The bartenders were super friendly and told us many things about the pub that we knew nothing about. Definitely add it to your "to-do" list the next time you're in London, you'll love it!
Lovely old pub hidden away down an alley. Great selection of ales and a fantastic feel about the pub. Didn't have any food so I can't rate this aspect of the Mitre. One of the wife and my favourite pubs in London.
