Generally quite good food - I feel it's got slightly better over the years. Depending on where you sit, the seating can feel a little cramped at times, but the service is good, the food is tasty and the location is fantasic.
A go to sushi place. Always so freshly made and served at reasonable prices with the help of a very friendly and professional staff not to mention the prompt and punctual service as well.
Amazing sushi place. Always freshly made and served in a very beautiful ambiance with the help of a really nice and friendly staff not to mention the highly prompt and punctual service as well.
Amazing Sushi bar! Even the vegan / vegetarian options are so tasty and flavourful.. one of the best places to satisfy your Jap Cuisine cravings ! We tried their California Maki, Celery Sticks, Mushroom / Sweet Potato Skewers, Toasted Broccoli takeaway.
Amazing place in London. I love the food. can’t wait to come back here again. Congratulations to the staff.
Amazing place for some authentic Sushi. Too many options to choose from loved everything we tried. Highly recommended.
Such a great place for sushi, the ambience is refined and staff is lovely! If fits every occasion, business meetings, friends, family, etc. Some veggie options and the sake is also great!
Music wow I enjoy food and music together there
We ordered hell's kitchen shake aioli ebi Pablo and one roll everything is great
Staff members are so polite and too good in service
Always a steady choice for good food! Service was a little slow to begin with, perhaps we caught the lull between shifts but that was soon remedied. Another predictably good visit.
A really good place for awesome sushi and really good music. we ordered Hell's kitchen, Shake Aioli, Salmon ceviche, Ebi Panko and Gypsy roll. And everything was great. Staff was also polite.
Its a great place for all the sushi lovers around the world. Amazing service and amazing taste. If you like shrimps, you have to try “ebi bites” without a second thought. Definitely deserves the price.
Great place with amazing sushi and very nice music. Very cool, the staff is very nice and professional. We had miso soup and a “perfect day” that was amazingly well prepared:)
Amazing place and great sushi for affordable price. The restaurant is quite big and the mood is very good. We went there without reservation and waited for 20 minutes to get a table. The stuff is very kind, especially Sonia!
One of the best sushi places I have been to in England so far! We started off with Ebi Bites (which was my personal favorite) and salmon carpaccio. Then we ordered Hell's kitchen, Shake Aioli, Salmon ceviche, Ebi Panko and Gypsy roll. I guarantee that they were very satisfying. Restaurant's atmosphere was welcoming and nice; the speed of service was good. Will definitely visit again!
Great ambience, very friendly staff and great sushi. First time I've ever been there but I'll certainly be coming back. I recommend the yellow tail, and Salmon sashimi so you can get a taste of their premium soy sauce which tastes fantastic, and you can never go wrong with a mixture of classic maki and nigiri.
This joint is amazing 🙌🏼 one of the best sushi places I have ever been too wow.. the location is perfect and the place itself is exquisitely designed in a modern/futuristic way that compliments the food! Our waitress was attentive and quick with taking orders, bringing our drinks and getting the food to us on time. The menu itself is super charming with its quaint starters and mesmerizing sushi and main options. What I really loved about this place was attention to detail from the cutlery and crockery, to the furniture and detailed plated dishes, it all comes together so so well in this Japanese/Asian restaurant. When I am in London again this is the first place I will come to for dinner/lunch. Thank you Sticks n' Sushi
Definitely a must visit if you're in the game for sushi. At least once. It is costly, but a fine experience. I highly recommend the fried cauliflower dish and also the Jerusalem artichoke. Absolutely delectable!
This place has a really great sushi concept the menus are innovative and the food is delicious I really recommend the dragon roll and it's the best miso soup I've ever had! I think the quality of the sushi is higher than the quality of the sticks but all in all this restaurant has it all. Book in advance as being seated upstairs is a much nicer experience! Would definitely recommend
This was my first visit to Sticks'n'Sushi and it certainly won't be my last. Upon arriving at Sticks n Sushi, the first impression is of a modern environment. All of the streamlined furniture amidst the rustic backdrop of brick walls and wooden floors give the entire restaurant a homey feeling. Not only that, but I was greeted by a friendly staff that was happy to show me to my seat and advise menu items based on my preferences. They were always prompt with their service and everyone was very personable.
When I first looked at the menu, I saw several options that I wanted to try. With the staff’s recommendation, I started off with ebi bites. The ebi bites were brilliantly mouth watering. Featuring shrimp with several spices to bring out their flavor, the ebi bites were a an excellent start an excellent meal. My friends and I chose the Four Meal Drive Big (6 types of nigiri and 6 of maki) to share, we began with the nigiri selection. I sampled each of the 6 nigiri – the salmon and seared seabass being my favourites. Among the maki selection preferred the spicy tuna and salmon ceviche. On to the dessert we couldn’t help but choose the taster, which consisted of 12 different kinds of sweet delights! The mochi ice cream, yuzu sorbet and crème brulee were definitely the standouts for me.
The entire night was full of great service, excellent food and certainly left a wonderful impression. A must-visit for anyone in the area who loves sushi.
My go to place for sushi. Excellent quality, big variety of choices on the menu and very good service.
Pretty expensive though and adds up quickly because the portions are small so you end up ordering many different things - which ends up being expensive.
Definitely try the desserts, would recommend getting the box with a selection of all their desserts -to share.
We went to the Covent Garden branch and it was so pretty, the atmosphere in the restaurant was really cosy and warm. The lights were dimly lit- which is not photo friendly-and as soon as you walked in there was hint of sushi in the air. I was hungry the moment I stepped foot inside the restaurant lol.
I absolutely loved this place. It was delicious and the concept is really interesting. So many options from a visual photo album menu! I would suggest go in groups of 3 or more to be able to order more and try abit of everything. But the fried scallop starter and the wagyu on a stick as well as the crispy duck were my favorite!

One of my favourite spots for Sushi in London! Convenient and close! Not too hard to book a table and it has a nice buzzing atmosphere! I love their sticks, they have different types of meats and spices on offer! Can be a bit pricey (20-30) pounds per person but definitely worth it! What happens when you mix Danish and Japanese cuisine? It’s not a question that has often been asked, let alone answered, which is what affords Sticks ‘n’ Sushi its experimental tag. Reserving a table the week before the father’s arrival was a wise move considering the couple ahead of us is told that the wait is at least half an hour. The lighting is dim, but bright enough to notice the bare brick walls, which make for an earthy ambience. Making our way to the table, it’s evident that tiny exterior is quite deceptive, for the area inside is vast and swarming with London’s most chic.
Awesome food.. Good portions to share.. Brilliant presentation and super friendly staff..
I strongly recommend.. Went for Ala cart rather than the set menus.. I had to skip many options that looked so tempting aide I can only eat so much.. 💔
Sticks 'n' Sushi is a fun dinner option, the cocktails and sake selection are good and the menu offers a lot of choice. Sushi is good quality but, in my opinion, slightly on the expensive side for what it is. Restaurant ambience is nice albeit it can get really busy and noisy.
Londrada ki en iyi sushi restauranti! Digerlerinden cok Farkli ve rahat bi konsepti var. Yani sira gayet guzel, lezzetli bir menuye sahip!!
I absolutely love sushi, and Sticks’n’Sushi, true to its name, satisfied all my cravings. The decor throughout is very minimalist, but the flawless, aesthetically pleasing presentation of the food makes up for it. I had checked out the menu in advance (of course), and once inside I faced the same issue as I had online: it is ridiculously long. It made my head spin, as I simply wanted to order everything! Luckily, a couple of my colleagues had been before, and so they were able to recommend their favourite dishes.
Superb! Excellent customer service first of all! People are nice. We ordered two dishes, one for sushi and another for sticks. I would say the sushi dish is more enjoyable. One unfortunate thing is that the black sesame ice cream was out of stock...oh well, I guess we will have to try it next time!
Sticks ‘n’ Sushi is a Danish export, originally founded 18 years ago in Copenhagen by brothers Jens and Kim Rahbek and Thor Andersen who combined their half-Japanese, half-Danish background to create a distinctive culinary experience. Their contemporary approach shines through in the details too, from the exposed brick walls and leather tables to the quirky statements emboldened on the staff’s shirts – “sushi is fish in haute couture”, particularly tickles.
As the name would suggest, the focus is on sticks (grilled skewers) and sushi, often with unusual but enticing combinations such as the Hell’s Kitchen (tempura shrimp, avocado, spicy sauce, topped with tuna & barbecue sauce). But they also have a fantastic selection of sides and salads - I’m a big fan of their green and grilled salad, protein-packed and loaded with more veggies and superfoods than you can shake a stick at (no pun intended). If you’re laying off the drinks, then do spring for one of their freshly squeezed juiced, aptly coded by colour.
As for dessert, we found that fortune really does favour the brave when we ordered the black sesame ice cream. I’d highly recommend it if you think you’d have a taste for frozen tahini with a sweet, but not overpoweringly so, undertone. It turns out that we did, and ended up calling for seconds.
One of the best Japanese cuisine experience we have had in London for ages. Generous portion with excellent sushi and British style yakitori (pieces of grilled meat on bamboo stick). Very well made and tasty. Came to about £40 per person which is worth the price. Restaurant is as such super popular. Would highly recommend booking.
I loved this place and the concept.
The waitress was fab. She was American and recommended us great dishes which were all amazing!
I recommend getting the Black Cod Roll! It is so yummy!
I’ve been to Sticks’n’Sushi in Covent Garden before, back in November 2013 when it first opened and had a fantastic lunch. This time, it was for dinner and I was with 2 dining companions. It was just after 5:30pm on a mid-week evening and the place was already filling up quickly. Word has definitely gotten out that this is one of the top restaurants in Covent Garden, so reservations are recommended. They serve some of the best sushi around and whilst it can be relatively expensive to eat there, the superior quality of the food definitely justifies the price.
Whenever I go to london I always go to nobu at least once. This time my partner spoke about this restaurant and we made a reservation to this restaurant . It was very close to our musical.
After I saw the menu I thought that it is a version of sushi samba. But after I had my plates I realise that this restaurant is new nobu for me . I have ordered vegetables colieflower ,@asparagus and avakado . Colieflower had a sauce I have ever taste that much delicious souce. I dipped even my sashimi and ask for extra sauce. Tataki and sashimi was very high quality. I have ordered ribeye but we did not prefer to eat that instead of sashimi and sushi. By the way it was the only sushi restaurant that have rolls without rice. It really surprised me as well.
I have to tell you about the cocktails which we listened our waiter and order yummiest which was amazing.
Overall it was a good experience and I will book my reservation after I got my flight ticket to london next time
I am badly recommending you.
We have paid 135 pound for two but we ordered and drink a lot
Well I was looking forward to trying this place out. I'd heard good things so was excited to try it out.
Upon arrival I was led to my seat and the waiter went through the menu adding some suggestions along the way. He was polite, bubbly and informative, everything you want from a waiter.
He recommended the cocktail of the day- Watermelon martini! Wow! Absolutely delicious and with that I decided to take a few more of his suggestions.
The scallops were the first to arrive and honestly if I hadn't ordered everything beforehand I eouldve probably continued ordering the scallops! They were perfectly mouth watering and the sauce and citrus from the lemons balanced out the flavour perfectly. 10/10 in my books and highly recommended!
I ordered the making 24 which is a set menu as well as the black cod roll (as recommended by our waiter) just wow, I was still not disappointed, not at all. The black cod was indeed my favourite blended with a hint of fre cheese, mind blowing isn't the word.
For desert a different waitress stopped by my table for a quick light chat in order to help with recommending an ice cream and again the result was spectacular! The sesame ice cream is a must for anyone!!
6 cocktails split between two people, full and satisfied the bill set me back £125- which was well worth it!
I highly recommend and will be back many many more times! Service, food and presentation spectacular!! I don't even think my pictures do justice.
Nobody can churn out effortless cool like the Scandinavians can! Like the window says, Stick n Sushi is a sushi and yakitori bar with a Nordic touch. You get delicious portions of sushi alongside sticks of meat- how very East meets West. Although quite a chain in Copenhagen, this is it’s second restaurant opening in London.
The restaurant is dimly lit, the table are covered in leather and apart from the adornment of bamboo here and there, the overall theme leans towards the Nordic side.
Their list of cocktails was Japanese influenced- lots of shochu and sake. I ordered the Hutaro- passionfruit, apple and rum. It certainly gave me a big old kick. It took awhile to get through the menu- so much choice! We chose the Table for 2 option in the end- it was a good balance of sushi and errr sticks of meat.
The sushi was fresh and the tastiest I’ve had in a long time. The side of Ebi bites we ordered were crispy and I could taste the juicy prawns inside. Once we had scarfed the sushi down, the sticks arrived.
The chicken breast with chilli dip had a nice, creamy kick and the chicken tsukune was totally moreish- the sauce it was covered in needed to be licked off the plate. Damn being in a public place! The bacon wrapped asparagus, I could have done without, but the sea salt and lemon drizzled edamame beans was a nice end to the meat fest.
We couldn’t not have dessert. We shared the Four Taster, to get a little taste of everything.
Mini pots of: chocolate fondant with hazelnut and caramel brittle, green tea ice cream with dark chocolate, white chocolate with sweet miso and popped rice, and finally, glorious vanilla creme brûlée. The creme brulee was my champion, but Ismay preferred the chocolate fondant with it’s warm gooey centre. The popped rice with the white chocolate had a weird texture and the green tea ice cream was a little too strong. I usually love green tea ice cream because of it’s subtlety but this was green tea on steroids. Not for me!
We both agreed we’d return. Overall it cost £79- for all that food AND dessert AND a gorgeous cocktail each for two people. Pretty good in my book! Big thumbs up.
Love the concept of the restaurant! The staff is very friendly and their uniforms and menu is very creative. The presentation of the dishes is great!! Lovely food and ambience.
Beautifully presented food. Great atmosphere. Wide selection of plates and platters on the menu. For me, the menu is a bit overwhelming but the staff are helpful with what to order. The sushi is well-presented, fresh and inventive. The sticks were disappointingly dry and not particularly tasty the one time I ordered them so I've not ordered them again. In terms of drinks, I go for the sparkling sake because its somewhat of a novelty although the cocktails look good too! A fun place to come on a night out with friends.
Genuinely a treat, Sticks n Sushi is not a place to go to for everyday sushi. It serves such delicious and well presented sushi. As a true sushi lover, it was such a delight to be able to try out this crazy £100 platter!
Fantastic fresh sushi and "sticks" - the spicy tuna stick had me scraping the sauce off the plate. Also delicious cocktails - if you like mojitos try the shoju-ito, yum!
Sticks “n” Sushi reminds me of a romantic New York loft. This restaurant in Covent Garden is spacious and urban with its exposed brick walls, dim lighting and grey and brown tones. I arrived early but was grateful for the extra time which allowed me to delve into (all four!) of the menus. The menus have been carefully designed and juxtapose English and Danish concepts in a cool quirky way.
Yesterday I went to the soft opening of the new branch of Sticks'N'Sushi near Covent Garden on Henrietta Street. Sticks'N'Sushi officially open tomorrow. The restaurant is decorated with modern furnitures, tables are covered by leather which gives a chic atmosphere, I was not convinced by their choice of chair (one arm rest) , as everytime I tried to go out of my chair I was stuck inside. The space is provided with a longitudinal stairway in bended steel connecting ground floor with the basement. In the basement you have some seats on the counter which surrounds the kitchen. My friend and I had three courses each, a glass of wine and we shared a selection of desserts. Our dinner starts with a classic miso soup served with tofu, spring onion & wakame seaweed for both of us. The soup was hot and had a lot of flavour. As a second course my friend had tuna sashimi, according to him, it was a good quality tasting and the fish was not fat. I had black Alsaska roll, I was so happy to see for
Crunchy tempura softshell crab was rolled with coal-black rice, lettuce, avocado and red tobiko, drizzled with spicy sauce and unagi sauce with a pickled ginger and wasabi garnish.
The upbeat atmosphere of the place is further assisted by the lively bar and its array of cocktails. The list is inspired by Oriental ingredients and if the LG Saketini and Yuzu Zoo Martini are anything to go by, their heavy handed use of citrus and sugar flavours are clearly aimed more at party drinkers than serious cocktail enthusiasts.
Quite an underrated addition to London's Japanese restaurant / sushi scene. The restaurant has a ton of set menus and mixed sushi platters but I've never opted for one of those - I always go a la carte. The food is good without being stupendous - my favourites are the chicken bites and the isnide out rolls. Get the Riesling too - a perfect wine match! And desserts are a must here.

What do you get when you mix Scandinavian style with Asian cuisine? Beauty on a plate, in both taste and aesthetics. This is why I am a slightly in love with Sticks 'n' Sushi. I mean, just look at this.
As a Japanese person who loves food, I'm no purist when it comes to sushi, or any other Japanese specialities. I enjoy fusion cuisine as much as the next person, and have no bias against it, but some places do it so badly that it can put some people off. But this? This is a success story.
Having had a taste of it when I went on the Japanese Journey last year (aka restaurant hopping heaven), I had been itching to go back for a proper meal, but just hadn't made it happen yet. But it was worth the wait, when I went to the Wimbledon branch with my sister, her lovely friend and her equally lovely mum who treated us to the most delicious lunch!
We started with a quartet of fresh juices - I think my equally snap-happy sister and I inadvertently persuaded everyone to get a different juice for the inevitable photo opp?! It does make for a pretty picture though, you can't deny it. And they tasted great, too.
Between us, we managed to try quite a few different dishes and options from the (stunningly designed) menu - here is the rundown of what we ordered:
Green & Grilled Salad
Maki : 24 - 8 crispy ebi, 8 spicy tuna, 8 pink Alaska Soy, wasabi & ginger
Chicken meatballs in teriyaki / Tsukune
Chicken wings / Tebasaki
Chicken and leeks in teriyaki / Negima
Rice Paper Rolls : Soft Shell Crab, avocado, masago, lettuce, miso-aïoli, yuzu kosho & ponzu
I have to say, the Sticks part (the meat) is quite authentic, reminiscent of the traditional Yakitori you get in Japan - deliciously flavoured and beautifully cooked. The rice paper rolls are lovely - so light yet so tasty, it's like those Vietnamese summer rolls that I like so much. The sushi set comes from the set menu, which is great if you're sharing and you want a selection without the headache of choosing. I loved the sushi - a relief to love it so much after having eaten the amazing Sushi Samba ones so recently! - but honestly, everything was so good it's hard to pick out a highlight.
But the best was yet to come...
Dessert. Actually, desserts. 9, to be precise.
A platter of stunning desserts, that had us all reaching for our cameras and somehow being patient enough to paparazzi the heck out of them before digging in.
Black sesame ice cream with nougatine
Marcel chocolate cake with crystallised white chocolate
Bergamot orange crème brûlée
White chocolate and liquorice mousse topped raspberry foam
Crumble with yuzu curd & meringue
Dark fondant, with chocolate caramel & peppermint heart, topped with crunchy hazelnut brittle
Yuzu sorbet
White chocolate with sweet miso & popped rice
Coconut Cake
Although they were all utterly delightful, my favourite was probably the black sesame ice cream. It tasted properly of "kurogoma" and was ridiculously moreish. If there are 4 or more of you dining together, I would absolutely recommend this selection (or if you're a blogger, because let's face it, you need to take photos of this.).
I've since gone to the Covent Garden branch for dinner, and it did not disappoint - it was completely packed on a weekday evening, and I can definitely see why.
If you haven't been yet, put it on your list - and if you have, take me with you next time?
This Autumn I camped myself at Sticks'n'Sushi. My sister Lucy spent the winter months waitressing there and it's bang in the middle of Covent Garden so I was constantly passing the door; be it for a quick drink or a full blown meal, I couldn't resist the temptation to duck in every time.
Sticks'n'Sushi is one of the most successful restaurant groups in Denmark, in the same realm of Wagamama in the UK. It's such an impressive company with a fantastic mantra; take it from me, my sister came home reciting Japanese and telling me why the client comes first every time.
I'm a critical blogger when it comes to sushi. I've been accused of trying to single-handedly eat London out of the stuff. So don't take it lightly when I say the offerings at Sticks'n'Sushi are among the best I've tasted in the capital. Visibly fresh and to use the horrendous cliché of 'melt-in-mouth', it's about as good as it gets.
What's more the menu is well compiled so that whatever your preferences may be - nigiri, sashimi, maki - there are combination plates to suit your needs. There's a whole section entitled 'if you can't decide we can' which boasts 14 set menus. The staff are beyond helpful (I may be a bit biased here but I promise it's true) and know their produce like the back of their hands: where the fish is caught, how the rice is prepared etc etc.
Highlights for me are:
To kick off, the ebi bites (crunchy prawn), hotate kataifi (scallops with miso aioli) and the edamame tossed in soy, ginger and garlic.
Followed by a selection of rolls. For a small group, the mini maki de luxe set menu is a great one to go for here. 4 different kaburimaki (topped rolls): 8 Hell’s Kitchen - tempura shrimp, avocado, topped with tuna & barbecue sauce, 8 ebi panko - tempura shrimp, spicy sauce, topped with avocado, sesame & tsume soy, 8 shake aïoli - snow peas, avocado, cucumber, miso-aïoli, topped with seared salmon, sesame, tsume soy, chives & trout roe, 8 salmon ceviche - red onion, cucumber, avocado, topped with salmon, coriander & lime marinade. Pure heaven on a plate.
But you can equally retain full control of your selection by picking from the wide range of cut rolls, nigiri and maki on offer.
The fact that half their menu is dedicated to 'sticks' makes it the perfect place for a date. D now loves sushi (my hypnotherapy has paid off) but I know he doesn't think a meal's a meal without a bit of meat.
Buzzing any night of the week, the slick décor attracts all types of clientele. Did I mention the staff are excellent?!
You can always tell how beautiful a restaurant's presentation is by how many photos of their food have been uploaded on Zomato. There is something so captivating about the food here that you almost don't want to eat it.
All the way from Copenhagen, Sticks 'n' Sushi serve seriously brilliant sushi and cocktails. I would best describe the vibe (and service) as "slick", and although the intimate setting is great for a date, the sharing platters also make it the perfect destination for groups too.
The food isn't cheap, but it is special. Personally, I would recommend the Ebi Panko roll- my mouth's watering just thinking about it!
How do I put this fairly?
Me and my partner have found this highly recommended sushi place from this app and it seems very fancy and trendy.
The waiter was friendly enough at introduce himself and menus at beginning. Also the first arrival dishes were tasty and in a reasonable timing.
However, somehow we didn't see our main sashimi dish coming after we had all the other orders. So I checked with the same waiter again and he has confirmed that it's coming with no apologies. Then 20 minutes later and checked with him again still no apologies. But still didn't see the dish anywhere.
40 minutes ish later, we had enough waiting and feel needed to say something to the manager and just pay and leave.
So Maria the duty manager that we believe we're very sincere and apologetic. She really cared about this business and how the customers opinions.
Our point is, it shouldn't happen at first place for such fancy restaurant. And the waiter has no intention to explain to us why is the wait for so long? In the end the whole thing "killed" our appetite for the sashimi. We didn't even stay for dessert. Even they look so amazing. Maria has took off the £5 drink charges and the service charge as apology. We appreciate that but it doesn't solve any issues we had during the meal.
I won't say I will never return because the food was great! I am sure this incident wasn't their standard either. This place deserves 2nd chance for us. I work in service industry and I can understand things like this do happen. I wish they can improve staff training. I can honestly say that I am looking forward to go back their and enjoy the wonderful dishes on the menus.
Sticks n Sushi is never a bad idea. I went to sticks n sushi this wednesday for lunch after a long time .I had absolutely forgotten how tasty the food here was . The crowd here is always a mix of students and professionals . The decor of this pace is modern and stylish with great use of wood and lighting. I love the shape of their centre table which adds a fun touch to the place. The staff here is very friendly and guides you through a bit long and confusing menu. Like the name suggests there are two main things served here- STICKS AND SUSHI.
From the sticks my recommendation is the chicken meatballs in teriyaki sauce , lamb chops with miso herb butter and the goat cheese with dried ham.
The EBI BYTES are my absolute favourite here. Like I have mentioned before I love prawn and these ebi bytes here are absolutely yummy. There are various sushi platters here which have a variety of sushis and they are quite yummy. The black cod sushi is quite tasty and literally melts in your mouth . The desserts here are quite nice as well. A special mention to the staff who is really sweet and did not charge us for some confusion with a dish.
Tucked just off the main Covent Garden piazza, this is the second UK offering from the Danish founders and definitely not their last. It's not just the pleasingly sibilant name that has cast its spell over London, these guys mean real sushi business.
Our first impressions were great: a sleek, sexy black frontage conceals the culinary equivalent of Narnia - an up and down delight of sweeping tables, exposed brickwork and achingly moody lighting. Greeted at the door by two very smiley waitresses, we were whisked through to our (booked!) table and presented with four (yes, four) menus each. For two of the most indecisive girls on the planet, this could have been a total nightmare (and it was for a bit as there's so much choice to work through) but we were captivated by some of the most beautiful food photography we've seen.
A friendly waitress guided us through the options and finally we opted for the Table for 2 from the set menu: salmon, shrimp, salmon New York and tuna nigiri; black Alaska, sparkling tuna, mamma mia and dreamy California uramaki; Gypsy big futomaki; chicken breast with chilli, chicken tsukune and wrapped asparagus yakitori (the sticks in the name) and edamame beans, with a 'side' of marinated duck breast in rice paper with avocado, coriander, lettuce and goma dressing from the a la carte menu. The sushi came out first and we dove right in to the fresh fish, dipping into the soy that was attentively topped up by the waitresses, before being presented with the sticks which we'd totally forgotten about at the time but I can't stop thinking about now. This food has seriously upped the ante for all sushi places everywhere.
Washed down with a bottle of Kirin Ichiban (a Japanese lager) each, we tore ourselves away from the hugely tempting desserts with a chocolate Old Fashioned. And agreed that Sticks'n'Sushi had shot straight to the top of our list and was worth a return visit as soon as we could make it back. So here's to next time - skal.
I recently tried this place for a sushi experience and had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, especially the sushi which was cooked to perfection. The service was pretty efficient with the staff being quite warm and friendly. The ambience was wonderful with beautiful decor and pretty comfortable seating arrangement. I would love to visit this place again and would recommend others to try it as well.
This is one of those places that you really cherish for a long time. It is just perfect for a formal office dinner. I absolutely appreciate their service. They had a table ready for us in a short notice. The server was a delighted to help us. He kept enlightening us about the ingredients of the different dishes that we ordered. The food was amazing beyond description. Everything was just so fresh and perfectly flavoured. The dishes that we ordered were just perfect for sharing with my colleagues. I had a lovely experience and will visit again for sure.
By far one of the best places that serve delectable Sushi. The decor is exquisite and the ambiance is very inviting and energetic. The pricing is reasonable much and the food is excellent value for money. The kitchen shuts sharp at 11pm so make sure that you have placed your order before that. Highly recommended.
I love this place, so much so that I am very possessive about it. However, this place has been gaining well deserved publicity now. I love the food here, it is almost heavenly. It is always fresh and very well prepared. The place has now begun to be quite busy, especially during the weekends. The staff is brilliant and very helpful. Definitely recommended.
I had one of the most romantic meal at this place. The interiors gives you a warm and cosy feeling. It is spacious and its all made of brick walls, dull lighting and light tones. The menu offers an extensive selection of dishes to chose from. The dishes were appealing and appetizing.
The first thing i noticed when i entered the place is that this restaurant is extremely huge and spacious and has an urban feel in its interiors. It has dim lighting, grey and brown furniture and brick walls. I reached early but was grateful for the extra time which allowed me to have a detailed look in that huge menu and decide for myself what i want to order. The menus have been carefully deigned and well presented.
I ordered quite a few items off the menu and the only amazing and above average dish was the duck liver in teriyaki sauce. It was perfectly prepared and was very soft. The texture was just what it required and the sauce had the most amazing flavours. The other items were not so delightful but only average. The staff is pleasant and quick. Go here for the duck.
The one thing that calls for recognition and thus appreciation is the menu of the restaurant.
The menu is elaborate in the specification of the dishes with pictures and descriptions.
The restaurant aims at a Danish audience who are yet unfamiliar with sushi and yakitori.
Hence menu does a good job.
I thought it was absolutely fantastic! the black cod was incredible, the tempura prawn bites were Devine and all the sushi rolls were just amazing! however I wasn't so keen on the stick menu... but there's so much good food to makeup for it! it's really trendy and great service, definitely going back!
I have been a fan of Sticks 'n' Sushi ever since eating in their Wimbledon restaurant with Charlotte Hu back in March 2012, just after they launched in the UK.
I went back another time with my husband, as we both really loved the food and service, but unfortunately Wimbledon is too much out of our way to become a regular dinner destination. So I was very excited when Sticks 'n' Sushi invited me to try their new Covent Garden branch. We went there for dinner two weeks ago and had a fantastic experience!
The space itself is impressive: on the outside it fits perfectly in the neighbourhood as they retained the original 19th century window façade; the Victorian front creates a nice contrast with the sleek and modern interior.
The attention to detail at Sticks 'n' Sushi is paramount and it doesn't only apply to the food preparation and presentation of the dishes, but also the ambiance, the menus and the service. Restaurant menus with photos are never easy to pull off and often associated with cheap eats, but Sticks 'n' Sushi managed to create beautiful glossy booklets that celebrate their beautiful dishes.
The dishes can be ordered from the A La Carte (the best option if you know exactly what you want) or from the Set Menus (recommended if you are in a group and want to try different and new things).
On another note, I have rarely found waiters as attentive and helpful as in Sticks 'n' Sushi. The staff are very knowledgeable about the dishes and drinks and always happy to recommend you dishes that will suit your tastes. I usually let them guide me, as the menu is extensive and everything looks amazing, I never know what to choose.
I had dinner at Sticks 'n' Sushi in mid-January after two weeks of what everyone calls "detox" (ie. a diet), so let's just say I arrived at the restaurant with a good appetite and keen to treating myself with delicious drinks and food. The cocktails looked too good to miss, so we started with a Wild Berry Club (gin, citrus and wild blueberry jam) and a Raspberry Shojito (their version of a Mojito, with rum replaced by vodka and shochu).
We ordered two starters to begin with: Ebi Bites (tempura shrimp, chilli, coriander, pepper, miso aioli & fresh lime) which are everyone's favourite; and the special Soya Shake Bites (smoked salmon rolls on avocado mousse) which were recommended by our lovely waitress.
For the main course we ordered a selection of sushi and yakitori dishes from the A La Carte menu. I have tried quite a few rolls at Sticks 'n' Sushi in Wimbledon and one of my favourites are the Hell's Kitchen rolls (shrimp tempura and avocado inside-out rolls).
This time I wanted to try something new, so I asked the waitress for recommendations and ordered Black cod dragon Uramaki (miso marinated black cod, avocado, cream cheese, unagi sauce, rolled in chilli sesame) and Coal Crab Futomaki (soft-shell crab, coal-black rice, lettuce, avocado, red tobiko, spicy sauce & unagi sauce).
The Coal Crab rolls have immediately become my new favourites! I don't like soft-shell crab eaten on its own, but I love it in sushi rolls; the charcoal coloured rice makes these rolls special.
We then tried a few of the yakitori dishes: Chicken breast (topped with chilli dip, teriyaki and spring onion), Miso marinated pork and Panko Breaded Pork (with Wasabi Ceasar dressing). The yakitori were served after the sushi to ensure we ate the meat still warm.
I always save some space for desserts and I remembered how amazing the cakes at Sticks 'n' Sushi were! The Marcel Chocolate Cake (with chocolate tuille & crunchy sugar tossed in matcha) remains my favourite! We also ordered a scoop of Peanut Ice cream with sesame nougatine, which we ate with the chocolate cake, creating an awesome flavour combination!
Dining at Sticks 'n' Sushi is not cheap (as you would expect from any nice sushi place) and our bill came up to £100, with two drinks each and enough food to feed three people. I normally spend around £30 to eat there, so unless you are used to spending all your money on eating out (like me), I would save this restaurant for a special occasion. It is definitely worth the money, in my opinion! I highly recommend Sticks 'n' Sushi for the food, atmosphere and service. With their new central location it is the perfect place for a party or a date.
Food: Japanese.
Price : Around £70 for two people.
Atmosphere: Modern, Elegant
Review: This restaurant is super awesome, the Yakitori are fabulous. This restaurant is a real small discovery that deserves to be known .
I ordered salmon rolls and they were fantastic , very fresh, well presented and served very quickly.
One of the specialties of the house are the " sticks", we ordered several with different flavors which was quite nice.
The decoration of the place is very modern and the restaurant is very clean, which was much appreciated by the whole table.
If you go there , try the mixed platters, it makes you try different sorts of sushis.
Great night
Spent an entire night in this place drinking and eating exceptional Japanese food.
Although expensive, totally worth it for the place itself and the atmosphere inside. I have been visited with some friends on a Monday night and managed to get a table upstairs which is really nice. The bar was quiet and the atmosphere rather classy and trendy unlike other places in London.
We really enjoyed eating as the food is absolutely outstanding. We tried the “table for two” option that you can see among the pictures. The quality of the food was exactly what you would expect.
GREAT!
From the one-hour wait for a table on a Tuesday evening, one can see just how popular Sticks ‘N’ Sushi has become since opening on Henrietta Street in November last year.
Once seated, a server guides you through the expansive and slightly confusing menu. The choices, like the names suggests, are either sticks (grilled meat on skewers), or Sushi.
The “cool crab rolls” and the “black cod dragon rolls” were particularly noteworthy; the quality and flavour of these rolls were unparalleled; easily rivalling restaurants such as Zuma and Nobu, despite being only a fraction of the price.
From the “sticks” side, we chose the tuna and salmon rolls, which were cooked to perfection, however I felt they lacked the full flavours that were in the sushi.
Overall, Sticks ‘N’ Sushi is a brilliant sushi restaurant with tasty sushi and great value for money. It is a definite must-try, however reservations for dinner are essential!
Sticks 'n' Sushi was a fantastic choice for a mid week dinner. A lively and modern atmosphere meant there was a mixture of couples, work colleagues and friends enjoying great asian food. We ordered a variety of 'sticks', which are flavourful skewers of chicken, beef and fish. I would definitely recommend the chicken meatballs with teriyaki sauce - a fusion of the iconic Swedish dish and a delicious and sweet Japanese glaze. And I can't forget the black cod sticks! Succulent pieces of fish that melt in your mouth.
Of course, we couldn't resist the sushi. Crispy ebi roll was our main order - in fact we even had to get a second round! All in all, a recommended restaurant with delicious food.
I've tried a lot of restaurants but Im ok to say this is the only place that I always finish my meal praying I had a second tummy. The tastes are exquisite and so is the decor, cocktails are unique and the overall feel is a need to go back
With a son that loves sushi this had to be a place to try and we were not disappointed. We ordered their Sticks and Sushi platter and a plate of mixed sashimi. The sushi and sashimi were fantastic. The sushi were varied with different tastes and textures. the only slight disappointment was the sticks part of the platter - the meatball sticks were rather uninspiring and although the chicken sticks were better I found the sauce a strange consistency leaving a strange spicy after taste. I had thought it was going to be a very expensive meal but although it was not cheap I do feel it was good value for money as the fish was very fresh and the sushi the best!
Sticks n' Sushi..
The best place in London where to find the original Japanese "Yakitori".
The menu is really fun and entertaining because is made by pictures of the food and combinations between them! There are loads and loads of different combinations of Yakitori and sushi.
The quality of the meat the fish is really good.
The Yakinuku Steak is a must-have!! Is just so tasty and juicy!!
If you go by yourself go downstairs and sit down at the sushi bar or at the Yakitori bar where you will see all the chefs preparing all the food!! Ps: a really great hygiene in the kitchen.
If you are with friends, stay upstairs and share one of the crazy-shape tables you will find. And go enjoy this unique restaurant!!
Despite being vegetarian, I spend a surprising amount of time eating sushi. I know the lack of fish defeats the point, but I love cucumber, avocado and oriental flavours, so I can’t help but love sushi.
As the name suggests, Sticks’n’Sushi is more than just a sushi restaurant; they also serve “Sticks” or yakitori: skewers of delicious, beautifully cooked meat or vegetables.
The restaurant group hails from Denmark, and the Nordic influence is obvious as soon as you set foot in the Covent Garden venue: dark, minimalistic decor that just oozes coolness. The great design extends beyond the decor and into the menu too. Stunning pictures take up the majority of space, with summaries of what each dish entails. The staff are unbelievably helpful, eager to patiently explain every aspect of every dish if needs be.
You can design your own meal using the a la carte menu, but I’d recommending choosing one of the many amazing set menus. There’s even a hearty vegetarian one, The Greenkeeper, that costs £19.50!
The drinks are delicious and the desserts are pretty impressive too – we went for the 4 taster desserts, and each of them were incredible in their own way. I looooved the vanilla crême brulée in particular!
A meal for two comes to around £55 (excluding drinks), but with great food, fabulous ambience and stellar service, it’s worth it for one night! Don’t miss: the spicy edamame – that stuff is addictive!
Welcomed by an array of Danish greetings, smiling faces and swooping sushi laden plates, I tumbled into Sticks 'n' Sushi with a protesting stomach and high hopes. Get on the phone and book a table right away, this fantastic spot is quickly becoming the talk of the town.
The room extended up, down, forwards and backwards with tables of all shapes and sizes nestled between a good old bit of brickwork and wooden panelling.
On my list as soon as I heard about its opening, I was determined to test this new sushi joint for myself. I’m never one to say no to sushi and luckily I found a similar mind in Becks of The Not So Secret Diary.
It always puts a spring in my step when I find a new partner in crime, and this was no different. Becks and I have recently(ish) embarked on an incredibly exciting foodie related project that I will divulge ever so soon. I know it will be of interest to lots of you out there so perch on the edge of your seats for now and enjoy the spot-lit wall. Oo what a wall!
Back at our table we were presented with the menus. I have recently accepted my love of puns. However, I am a little distressed to admit this since I have always been pretty confident it was a pleasure was reserved solely for dads. I was wrong. This one made me smile.
Upon opening the menus, it was very much a 'Houston we have a problem' situation. Overwhelming is a serious understatement and our jaws dropped at the sheer enormity of choice. This posed a number of dilemmas.
Firstly, our combined decision making ability evaporated (if it had ever really existed in the first place) and we were confronted with some of the most attractive photographs of food I have encountered in a while.
Secondly, our simultaneous announcements of ‘yeah, I eat anything’ which at any other time would inspire delight from chefs, dates and, well most sensible people, did not work in our favour. Basically, everything looked incredible and we wanted it all. We decided to have it all. Luckily, help was at hand and we chose a special selection of all the favourites and waited gleefully for our feast to arrive.
After enjoying our leathery non-stick table and hearing a virtual drumroll, the sushi laden plates arrived in all their glory. First up were crispy duck rolls wrapped in slivers of cucumber and rice pancakes. Phwoar.
Next to be placed infront of the two droolers was the sushi platter. Double phwoar! California rolls, spicy tuna rolls, sashimi, salmon rolls..sweet mother of..yum.
In our excitement, we forgot about the sticks. How could we have forgotten about the sticks? Half of the restaurant's namesake! Anyway, here they are, juicy, sticky and absolutely mouth watering.
Downstairs was were the magic began. The chefs rolls and fried and squished and stirred and steamed. We thank you, you lovely creatures! What a fabulous meal. Back for more in no time!
Our indulgence led to a little after dinner tipple too. A brave shout by my standards in choosing the old chocolate fashioned. Somehow it was only when it arrived that I realised I'd been a little blinded by the 'chocolate' element and neglected to appreciate what it was I had actually ordered. Well, I like whisky now apparently!
Wow, this is The best sushi restaurant Tried in London. Great interior, cool atmosphere and amazing food! Thumbs up ????
Posh interior, top quality fish good sushi and met. The best sushi in London! Questo ristorante e'il Top assoluto!
I thoroughly enjoyed this new, slightly tucked away sushi spot. Price and clientele wise, it proved accessible and open to all, catering for all sushi- related needs.
The decor was minimalist and chic; classic and unpretentious in a classic westernised-Japanese way.
Service was attentive and friendly, and although we were seen to by several different waiting staff, there was no overwhelming quizzing over 'how is your meal?'.
The cocktails are delicious; a good range& rather quirky to suit the menu. For those not mixing, there is an impressive selection of good quality wines and even some sake/plum wine for those wanting Japanese all the way!
The meal style is lots of little dishes which can be shared depending on whether you're a food hoarder or not. Although this style allows you maximum experience of the menu, it can rack up the cost. However, our bill was rather modest & I escaped rather unscathed with a round tummy & only £28 down.
A lovely experience of good food, yummy cocktails in a central, clean and chic location. A must try!
The Cafe Royal hotel has a long history as one of the most fashionable hotels in London and with its prime position on Regent Street it is also an iconic landmark. The hotel has welcomed many famous faces from great authors such as Oscar Wilde and Arthur Conan Doyle to rock stars such as Mick Jagger and even royalty! And tonight they would open their doors for me and Mr Silver. I was keen to check out the Cafe Royal as the complex has just undergone as massive refurbishment and now houses a selection of restaurants and bars including their flagship restaurant, Ten Room. The bar features a huge list of cocktails and juxtaposes heritage cocktails with classics.
I chose a Pompadour, Bevedere vodka, passion fruit and vanilla liqueur, fresh grape and champagne. I don't like sweet cocktails but, despite the fruity content it had a perfectly bitter taste. Mr Silver chose the Unexpected which mixed aged Bourbon, apple liqueur, fresh grapefruit and honey syrup, he enjoyed it so much that he had two!
We then moved on to Covent Garden for our dinner.
Sticks 'n Sushi is one of the most successful restaurant groups in Denmark and they've very kindly bought their concept over here for us to enjoy! There is also a branch in Wimbledon if you're further down that way.
The concept of Sticks 'n Sushi is based on serving a combination traditional sushi with yakitori sticks from the grill. The interior of the restaurant has a very cool and urban vibe with an upstairs restaurant and downstairs dining counter.
I chose a glass of champagne and Mr Silver was on the beer. The menu is massive and I love the fact there's a picture of every dish.
Firstly we nibbled on salty edamame beans, which were a beautiful shade of vibrant green.
There is a choice of the la carte menu or you can get a selection of set platters. As it was just the two of us we plumped for a la carte.
Ebi prawns are one of the signature dishes at Sticks 'n Sushi so we had to have those!
These were tempura shrimp with chilli, coriander, pepper, miso aioli and fresh lime. They were deliciously crunchy and the chilli gave a perfect kick.
The big chaos contained yellowtail, tuna, salmon, shrimp, crayfish, tempura shrimp, seaweed salad, snow peas, tofu, shiitake, avocado and sushi rice. The fish was deliciously fresh and the sushi rice had the perfect bite to it. In hindsight, it was probably a little bit to big for
two people considering the amount of other things we ordered!
The sashimi de luxe included tuna, yellowtail, salmon, sweet shrimp, spicy tuna wrap, squid salad, scallop, daikon and ponzu. There was a lot here but it was all butterfly light and mouth-wateringly fresh.
Of course we had to have some sticks. We chose salmon teriyaki which flaked beautifully and the sauce was light and not overwhelming.
Spare ribs in teriyaki with chilli, sesame and herbs. These were bought over by accident but fortunately are one of Mr Silver's favourites so he still devoured them!
Chicken teriyaki stick and a lamp chop topped with herb butter.
Can you believe we had room for dessert. Well who can say no to this?
Four tasters. White chocolate with sweet miso and popped rice; vanilla creme brulee; chocolate fondant with caramel and hazelnut brittle and vanilla ice cream. The first one was my favourite!
Mr Silver and I loved Sticks 'n Sushi. Not only is the food fabulous but the concept is fun and would be the perfect choice for a date but is even better for group dining.
We left well and truly stuffed but very, very happy!
We visited Sticks 'n Sushi in January 2014.
Loved this place the moment I walked in. The sleek decor and lighting takes you straight to Scandinavia. We were seated and shown the menu which is a work of art. Descriptive with images, it makes it so easy to order and the staff are extremely patient while taking you through the menu. I found the food reasonably priced for a sushi place but did think the cocktails were overpriced. I don't expect to pay £12 for a cocktail at a restaurant in Covent Garden! The place has a great vibe. Amazed by the service though! The sushi is really good. Definitely worth a visit!
It's my second time visiting this restaurant now, and one which, for a small chain i really do love. The Sticks ‘n’ Sushi concept was first conceived in Denmark. Founded 18 years ago by two brothers, Jens and Kim Rahbek, and Thor Anderson. The three brothers come from a Japanese/Danish background and somehow thought up the idea of fusing the two cuisines together. There are now ten Sticks 'n' Sushi restaurants in Copenhagen and two in London – one located in Wimbledon, the other in the heart of Covent Garden's Theatreland.
When i first dined at this restaurant i had no idea what the concept would entail. Walking in to the restaurant on a cold night made this place feel, and look, stunning. Inside the decor was cool and calm – it had a sort of Armani Casa design edge to it. We quickly sat down and dived into the drinks menu. A very well selected menu of simple but tasty wines, some excellent cocktails and their own branded beers, lovingly brewed back in Denmark - they were stunning.
The food menu was the best part about this place. An extremely informative menu, with a descriptors of every dish and high quality photos showing you what to expect. Japanese food can be daunting sometimes as there is so much variety, so these menus at Sticks ‘n’ Sushi came in very handy indeed. We started off our meal with some warm edamame beans topped with some rich and spicy miso sauce. Very moorish.
Our second course quickly arrived which was a stunning salmon carpaccio topped with daikon (white radish), chives, trout roe, miso aioli and a lime dressing. The dish was mouthwateringly good and the star of the evening. Everytime i eat a salmon carpaccio elsewhere i can't help but comparing it to this, and nothing ever quite lives up to it. I think it was the balance off all the ingredients and freshness of the salmon which took me by surprise.
The ebi bites, which were tempura shrimp, with chili, coriander, miso aioli and a squeeze of lime, were rather good. The shrimp was large and succulent, the tempura batter was light and delicate. It tasted fantastic. The chilli gave a nice bit of heat to the dish and the lime added some nice freshness and acidity.

Great place! The food was nothing short of amazing, and we had a lot of it among the 5 of us. Service was super efficient and also helpful with advise on how much to order etc. very cool atmosphere and super flexible in moving us to a bigger table. Loved it!
For platonic dinner, ask for the sushi bar
For romantic dinner, ask for restaurant table
For lunch, ask for restaurant table
Beautifully presented food, very attentive staff and flexible with dish swaps in set menus.
Overall a very interesting innovative culinary experience that compliments traditional dishes whilst catering for the Western palate.
Great food and service everything was served up perfectly. Their fish is fresh, both the beef and salmon tataki were divine (we had four plates!). I came here twice within a week and took my colleagues here after a meeting — so it was that good. :) also they have these little trainer chopsticks as well🥢 in case someone in your group doesn’t know how to use them!
We opted for the ‘As Good As It Gets’ set meal. Terrific range of dishes from start to finish. Excellent service from Pavel who made us feel very welcome. He’s a credit to the restaurant.
We went for the Carpe Diem platter which was great value for money and gave us the opportunity to try everything. The best items for me were the Kani Korokke, tuna tartare bites and broccoli - which was made by the accompanying sesame sauce. Sushi wise it was all decent - not quite melt in the mouth like some high end Japanese restaurants, but definitely a step up from other chains.
Service started well but as the restaurant filled slipped drastically, had to get up at one point to find someone to get us more drinks. When we asked for tap water they would just fill very small glasses rather than just leaving a jug.
Overall service aside good value for money and we left full and with a doggy bag.
Got my Asian fix here at Sticks and Sushi. Loved the atmosphere here - very chic and upscale. The menu has just the right amount of choices (so you wouldn’t experience the paradox of choice).
We had 2 maki recommended by the service crew which were great! The tuna starter dish that comes with tuna pieces on a cracker were a blast! Another winner was their hotate wrapped in some thin fried strings - a must try!
Thumbs up on the cocktails too, enjoyed it thoroughly.
Quick service, good quality sushi. Was seated fairly quickly on a mid-week evening. I didn’t appreciate the service before you get seated so marked down the review. The host is efficient however the waiters just ignore people waiting to be seated, not even a hello, someone will be with you shortly - very
disappointing. The waiter attention was spot on once seated.
Great for pre-theatre dinner. Food and drink service very quick. Server was very knowledgeable about allergies and happy to make swaps to the sharing platter to make sure I could eat everything that was brought out :)
The best Japanese restaurant I have been to so far!!! It is located at the heart of Covent Garden, with many tables, we arrived without reservation but they kindly found a place for both of us! Their staff is amazing and the food is tasty!!! 5/5, 10/10 or even 1000/1000 if I could score. Definitely, will definitely return.
Some of the best sushi I’ve had in london! Amazing service to go along with it. A little bit on the pricey side but definitely worth it.

Atmosphere is refreshing. If you want to get the table outside, you’d have to have a reservation. When it’s come to sushi, one of the finest sushi restaurant in London. Also, staff was so kind and smiling. They warm you. Strongly recommend you this place.
Amazing Fried Chicken and Suhsi, truly Japanese quality. Wagyu tartare was a bit overpriced and didn't deliver much flavor, so would not order again. Ambiance was nice, and had easy access to covent garden, definitely a great spot, and would come again.
Beautiful, modern, low key atmosphere. Everything we ate was delicious. High quality fish, simple ingredients, unique flavors and textures. Very gluten free and dairy free friendly. They catered to my dietary needs with ease and care.
As far as dining experiences go, you can’t ask for more.
Absolutely delicious food and phenomenal presentation.
Even trainee staff were absolutely top form.
Cannot recommend enough.
Lovely restaurant. Absolutely in love with their food, soo good. This time maki dish was delicious, as well as crab croquettes. Dessert is beautiful, small but good
Food was simply delicious, made with quality ingredients and served with attention to detail 🫶🏻 Good friendly service. I recommend booking as it’s always busy 😊
After a few days in London this was the first place I was thoroughly impressed by. It's a little pricey but I imagine some on that is just London, and be aware of the service charge. The Yuzu Zoo cocktail was properly balanced and refreshing. The ceviche was too mild in flavor for me but the ingredients and prep were quality. The messy (poke) bowl was perfect and tuna tartar phenomenal. Very healthy and well made throughout
The stuff was very friendly the atmosphere was lovely. I loved the entrees however the sushi rice wasn’t as fresh as usual. The poke bowls were amazing and very filling. But overall the food was great.
