Pompidou is the best cafe for breakfast to ever exist on the planet we live in right now. And I am very disappointed in the citizens of zomato for rating Pompidou a 2.7/5. I will make it my mission to make sure that Pompidou receives the rating it deserves. Also if u ever go there, get the junior special. That sandwich is too beautiful, on jah.

Family run and fantastic value, service and quality, perfect for a quick bite and a chat. The ingredients were fresh and portions were generous!

Amazing breakfast near King's Cross station. I had a smoked salmon, avocado and gherkins toasted focaccia which also came with some fresh salad on the side.
The staff is very friendly and the food was delicious and came very quick. £7 for the focaccia and a coffee I think it's pretty good. Definitely coming back here. Saad Habib
Can't fault the food. Returned for breakfast each day of our stay. Friendly staff. One of the best omelettes I've ever had. Fussy son loved his avocado on toast so much he had it every day!
There is a bunch of chain restaurants around the Kings Cross area. This is a cute locally owned cafe. Great experience eating a late lunch. Super friendly manager let me try the sauce to the coronation chicken. I didn't know what it was so he explained it is a sweet curry sauce. It was really yummy!
Breakfast here including coffee is really nice. Dish full of sausages, bacons, toasts, fried eggs, mushrooms, baked beans and cooked tomato made my first day in London wonderful. I always go this place whenever I want English Breakfast. Price, amount, taste in overall is far better than any places I've gone nearby in London. Plus, the Italian owner does make coffee pretty well.
The perfect place for the original English breakfast, for 6 £ you can eat a toast with bacon eggs and sausage. The quality of food is medium-high and the owners are very polite and friendly!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Went with my family which included two vegans and one person who is gluten free and the manager went the extra mile to make alterations and additions to the food to fit our dietary requirements. Top place for a no-frills breakfast.
Would definitely come here every time I visit Kings Cross! A few minutes walk to this place from KX train station. The food were spot on and the latte were perfect! I had the Big Breakfast and it was just amazing! Fantastic staff and very friendly and easy to understand as I am Deaf. a lot of choices in the menu and fresh food on display and can also order lunch takeaways. 5 stars!
My favourite place to get breakfast when in London. Friendly staff, nice food and reasonable prices. The fact that they greet you when you get there and even remember your name makes a huge difference. On top of that, there's many different options food wise to get breakfast, brunch or lunch with fresh products. Recommended if you are in the King's Cross area and fancy a yummy bite to eat in a cosy, friendly and welcoming environment.
The best English breakfast I ever had by far.
Went in for breakfast. Not the most appealing from the look on the outside, however when inside the waiter is very friendly, it's reasonably priced and food and drinks arrived very quickly. Fantastic independent business and would be sure to visit again if we're in the area!
The BEST and most affordable meal I've eaten in London in the past two weeks! The lasagne was fantastic and they make a damn good coffee too! The guys meet you with a smile and the customer service is fabulous!

Been to this brilliant little cafe 3 or 4 times now, had breakfast before (delicious!) and today had the Chicken Escalope Panini with salad. Very nice, especially the side salad which reminded me of the Greek Salads I had in Greece!! Highly recommend, excellent, friendly staff too!
Arrived at busy time but was immediately seated and served. Enormous jacket potato with generous filling AND side salad only £5.00 - couldn't manage to eat all the potato. Single espresso (£1.60) also great - the cup had been heated, hurrah! I'm from Edinburgh and very much doubt I could find an equivalent good deal. The staff were friendly in a natural way and coped with a very busy take out lunch service as well as full tables with no fuss or drama. It is right next to Kings Cross station so perfect for the traveller. I'll be back!
