Wonderful place in the area where one can have the best food and drinks at the best prices at optimal hygienic conditions and punctual and prompt service all the time.
Amazing desserts! Can’t wait to try more!
In general, this restaurant is always full, so try to book in advance, it is worth stopping by! You will find a quick service that does not compromise the flavor.
A nice restaurant with good food you can enjoy food ambience of the restaurant is nice and decorative like their atmosphere we will once again go there
Pre-theatre dining can be a stressful experience. For the majority of people, work finishes around 5:30pm, which gives you 120 precious minutes to meet your friends (assuming you’re a sociable creature), pick a restaurant, scan the menu and pick the first dish that leaps off the page. Only then do you have the time to relax and unwind. If you’re like me you also gaze around and spot three other dishes that give you food envy for being too rash in your dinner choice. Now, imagine if you had to do all this whilst also asking for a gluten/ dairy/ nut-free menu first, only to be greeted with a vacant expression that belies the server’s feeling of panic at a customer asking questions about allergy options. Nightmare…. Or is it? Enter Niche, an entirely gluten free restaurant whose staff are more than happy to substitute out dairy, eggs, nuts or any other ingredients that might cause a touch of anaphylactic shock. It also serves up a pre-theatre menu and is just around the corner from one of my favourite international dance venues, Sadlers Wells. So for a foodie-cum-theatregoer like myself, it’s already ticking all the boxes.
Niche is an exceptional gluten-free restaurant that left me impressed! The burgers were incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection, making them a delight for my taste buds. The gnocchi was simply divine, with a comforting and hearty texture that complemented the delicious sauce. It's refreshing to find a restaurant that serves such mouthwatering dishes without compromising on taste or quality. The staff was attentive and friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Niche is definitely a gem for gluten-free diners and food enthusiasts alike. I can't wait to return and try more of their delectable offerings!
Don’t think twice. Go here! This was top
On my list when coming to London for the first time last week. I rearranged my plans to make it for the Sunday roast. I am SO glad I did! Niche was only 1 of 2 places (One Aldwych being the only other place) that offered gluten free and dairy free Yorkshire pudding. I can’t explain how included I felt to be able to eat everything everyone else normally does for a Sunday roast including the Yorkshire pudding! We got the focaccia bread with tomato roasted butter (dairy free too) and OH MY GOSH it was DELICIOUS!!!!!! I don’t even really tomatoes, but this butter was unreal! I have never had such amazing, warm, soft fluffy gluten free bread before. I wish I had gotten my own and didn’t share it with my friend. I also got the fried chicken. It was SO good!!! Everything was AMAZING. Worth every penny. I wish I could’ve eaten here more then once. Don’t even hesitate. The service was fantastic too!
French bistro atmosphere with well presented dishes that cater to a variety of allergies. As a normally gluten eating person, there's an adjustment needed for flavour but really everything looks amazing and tastes really good. Loved the tripel beer.
Great food for those who need to eat gluten free! As someone who *doesn’t* avoid gluten, i was skeptical at first but was happy to experience the creative menu Niche had to offer. The appetizers were well balanced, and the mains were generous. The service was lovely, and the restaurant had a lovely atmospheee too. Highly recommend!
I appreciate the concept. They provide 100% gluten free menu. The place is lovely, nice decor and seating areas.
The service is excellent.
While it is a small restaurant, the staff was great and my family and I really enjoyed the gluten free dining experience. I thought that their Mac and cheese was delicious, and their fish was fine. There were also several unique desserts on offer.
I’m posting based on two separate dining experiences at Niche. I have celiac disease so going to a fully gluten free establishment is exciting. My first experience was not so great - I got a pie and it was ice cold in the middle. It was obviously frozen and reheated when ordered but I was too embarrassed to say anything and I should have. My second experience was much better - we ordered roasts and these were absolutely delicious and piping hot.
Can't praise this place enough... amazing experience for ceolic people. Love it and will come again and try the entire menu for sure. It's worth a visit regardless of the condition. Need more businesses like this.
Thank you so much, Niche. We highly recommend it to all people!
Wonderful restaurant and dining experience! The NFC Chicken is tasty and nicely spiced with complimentary sauces. Burger had great flavour and the sourdough GF bun adds a level of enjoyment for those of us who don’t often get a nice hamburger. Desserts choices are wide and varied. I thought the Eton Mess had rich texture and bold strawberry sauce to finish the meal. We’ll done! Will be back!
I was really excited to dine at Niche, as their allergen-free kitchen is a fabulous idea. I felt very safe as an allergic person on holiday. The drinks were great. However, I did not enjoy the pasta and focaccia that I ordered. I wasn't able to finish it. Also, I felt ignored by staff as a solo diner.
I deeply believe in their mission to serve safe food that many people can enjoy and I hope that they can continue to improve.
It’s incredible how relaxed one can enjoy dinner when everything is gluten-free. It was a new experience. Staff was very nice. Food was nice, I wouldn’t say spectacular but I’d recommend it to every coeliac.
I have a lot of food allergies. They were extremely accommodating and the food was amazing. I'll have dreams of the onion rings.
So wonderful to find this little gem. A happy and safe place for a coeliac to eat. The food was delicious and the service helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend. Ever thought of opening one in Cornwall!
My gf is gluten intolerant so she was a happy bunny.
Fantastic and a amazing place. You do not have to eat glutenfree to eat here. You will not know the difference.
Niche is one of the loveliest restaurants I've ever been too. While I'm not gluten intolerant, the person that I went with is. It's hard to find alternatives consistently so I am very glad to have found this place. The food was divine and the service with very friendly and polite. A wonderful and wide range of food is available and even a special menu if the theatre next door is playing something. Absolutely will go again!
If you are celiac, lactose intolerant, can't eat dairy or have IBS this is the place to go. My partner has several of these conditions and it makes eating out very challenging, we have to be really careful with what we order or eat, Niche on the other hand put her totally at ease and was incredible!
I can not rate this place more highly. The staff were excellent, the food was insanely good and was such a lovely place.
I took my mother here as she can only eat gluten free. The staff were very welcoming, the atmosphere was cosy and the food was delicious. She really enjoyed the evening and we will definitely be back to try more dishes.
