Nice location.Food is good.Though the options are limited but they are good.So i tried mirch sabji.which was like green pepper with some vegetables. It was really delicious, the spices were just right for my taste. And along with it i had roomali roti.Even for bread they have only two options. But nevertheless roti was good.Soft and hot.And i had fresh lime soda which was ok.Place is little small so you might have to wait.Overall i would recommend to try it alteast once.

Second visit to Hankies. The food is interesting as always. Nice interpretation on traditional Indian food. And it has Old Monk, one of the few places in London to supply the much loved Indian rum :-)

Hankies, not the type you blow your nose with, but the term used for a thinly stretched and folded (like a hanky) roomali roti, and the namesake of an Indian restaurant, which specialises in making them. Hankies serves Indian street food from the region of Delhi on small plates similar to the likes of Talli Joe, but with a canteen style setting. Hankies have recently opened a sister restaurant, Hankies March Arch, located within the luxurious Montcalm Hotel.

I have previously visited Hankies Cafe at Shaftesbury Avenue (see my review here). While the Hankies Cafe there has a more canteen-style setting, the Hankies Marble Arch is totally different. Located within the Montcalm Hotel, a 5* Luxury Hotel in Marble Arch, Hankies Marble Arch has a much bigger space and nicer setting. The interior is elegant and much fancier than their original cafe.

My friend and I walked a lot of placed before we chose Hankies and glad we made the selection, the staff is very polite and helpful and the food tasted real good, yes they are bit small portions but the taste exceptional. All the 3 courses we ordered from starters to mains to deserts I dont have any complaints on the food and the staff and I would give 5 rating for these. The tiny disappointment is we got a corner window table which is fantastic but there were all wires and adapters running through our legs, luckily neither I nor my friend tripped but it could happen if we haven't noticed. I hope Hankies will see this review and fix it. Cheers Sunesh

An Indian restaurant in the Montcalm Hotel, service was excellent without being intrusive, the veggie starters were delicious, the mains not so much with the paneer tikka grill sat in a sweet syrup I have never experienced before! I have been informed the meat starters and mains were really good. The desserts were disappointing, we didn't really enjoy any of the 3 we ordered! They serve complimentary masala chai which was a lovely touch and tasted nice.

Went to checkout Hankies for my Anniversary after a lot of recommendations. Hankies has a good atmosphere inside with super friendly staff and great service. The food was brilliant. We spent around £125 for 2 adults and 2 kids. Cons: 1. The Mojito options aren't great and we opted to get a Coke and sparkling water 2. The desserts weren't very good. The cheesecake was very dry, the pistachio ice cream wasn't great. The kheer was good though 3. For the parents, there is no baby changing rooms. Pros: 1. The service and friendliness of the staff is A class 2. Butter chicken was great. But has more Masala than saffron kitchens for example 3. The lamb chops and chicken thigh starters was brilliant. 4. The dhaal was so good 5. The pilau rice comes with a curry underneath it (your choice). It was good but I was told after that you can request no curry too although that's not on the menu 6. They give complimentary Karak chai. Food is Halal but they do serve Alcohol. I would definitely recommend this place

Amazing food, as soon as we arrived the entrance is really nice and lit up. Great location, also parking was available. We ordered the moktails, Starters, mains and desserts. All was very nice, amazing presentation. The staff was all very friendly, Mr Florin Munteanu was very accommodating. Will definetly visit again, very nice fresh food.

We had the absolute pleasure of dining at Hankies for lunch on Saturday afternoon. Upon arrival the staff were very friendly, well equipped with PPE and very welcoming. We were offered between the choice of the Indian menu or the European menu. We decided to go with the European menu and the food was absolutely exquisite. Very nicely presented, tasted delicious and arrived in a timely manner. Overall thoroughly enjoyed our experience and the ambience. Highly recommended

the first Indian restaurant in London who served me proper Chai - and not some hot water with tea flavoured masala - this itself made this restaurant a 5 star for me the chicken ravioli was surprisingly delicious though I have no idea why they would put bhindi in bhel - it was still tasty butter chicken was on sweeter side - which was a bummer for me - but then I have come to expect that in London they expect a dish with the word butter in it to be sweet - taste was good though lasuni saag was tasty as well - though would have loved a little bit of more taste of garlic service was really good they had chalices in place of usual glass for water on the table

Very nice food, which just kept on coming. Although service felt a bit slow there was a large group of us, so it didn't matter. The atmosphere, the staff and the food, superb (both vegetarian and not). And, just to make you smile...well maybe. - but nothing to do with this great restaurant. I went to a Indian restaurant last night. After I had ordered, a little old lady came to me and said, "Aren't you polite. You have such lovely manners." It was my complimentary nan

Great food although portion was so small. Service was super quick with friendly staff although lacked in communication. I ordered mango lasso and they took my order but then bought our a Berry lassi and when I told them they'd bought the wrong drink out they said they had ran out of mango! Should of really told me that from the beginning instead of thinking I would like the Berry as a replacement! The decor inside was superb. Worth a visit!

Went for my birthday lunch and we had the entire place to ourself! Staff were very welcoming, the food was amazing - we both really enjoyed the chicken mantu and butter chicken. The chops are good but I'd say they're still overpriced. Great location - 5 mins walk from Marble Arch. Would recommend and defo visit again.

Hankies restaurant specialises in small plates of Indian fusion cooking by taking casual Delhi street food and elevating it to something far more sophisticated. Not only has chef Anirudh Arora given great thought and consideration to each dish, but also possesses the requisite skills for pulling off what is an ambitious and innovative little menu. What's more, if the prices aren't enough to entice you down, especially given the location (Marble Arch of all places), then our review and the final rating ought to. NOTE: The duck, which was sadly unavailable on the evening of our review, is now Halal. Menu Recommendation Drink - Angoori Ginger Starter - Wagyu Beef Siu Mai Main - Khumb Kofta; Chilli Lamb Chop; Butter Chicken Dessert - Masala Chocolate Fondant HALAL STATUS: Halal food menu except guinea fowl (prepped & cooked separately) • Alcohol served 2018 review

After reading reviews of this restaurant i thought i would given it a try. Went there late Sunday evening began with their Yellow Chicken Tikka and and grilled prawns starters tasted nice ut portions were a bit small. For the main course tried the Butter Chicken and Prawn Pilaw accompanied with a Keema nan and their special rumali roti. The flavour was different but nice. Service in the restaurant could have been a lot better for a so called fine dining restaurant.

The food here was very good for most dishes. A few were a little bit bland compared to other Indian dishes we had tried. The service was very good with many servers buzzing around and any of them happy to help. The food came out without a v long wait, was hot, and fresh. Decor inside was nice as well not too much going on.

This place was recommended by a friend, so we went there to celebrate our anniversary. Absolutely loved the service as well as food. Everything we ordered was so delicious, and the service was amazing with polite staff looking after you. Would definetly recommend and go again.. (I would not recommend, to take any children below 5years, staffs are quite understanding. But, if your child is someone who would cry or run around then he/she will not only spoil the ambience for you but also for the others)..
