I love that such a store exists in London and at just £4.40 per 250g, it is excellently-priced. Staff know their coffee (and tea) and were very helpful in helping me pick out something suited to my taste. Sadly, no seating area, so you can have your coffee and go.

This is going to be my No. 1 coffee destination from now on :)

The shop has a wide range of different kinds of tea - including Yerba Mate - and coffee. I chose a Bali tea to try. Its ingredients are bamboo leaves plus nettle. The tea tastes a lot like mint, which is something I didn't expect. You can brew it for a long time but it doesn't become bitter, like many teas do.

I also bought some coffee. Since I don't like strong coffee, and didn't know what to choose from their "menu", I simply asked. The staff seems knowledgeable, and can help you with your choice. You can sniff you coffee before buying it, and it can be grind for you, if you want. You can also specify how much you want, because it's not pre-packed.

Following another Zomatee's recommendation (I'm looking at you, AKBoogie! ;) ), I also bought coffee beans in chocolate. Very delicious indeed!

The shop is tiny, but the atmosphere inside is great, and you just don't want to leave :)

Very simply one of the best coffees I’ve had in a long time. It’s super unexpected from outside that the place does take away coffees, very unassuming, very straightforward. Prices are also reasonable in this day and age. Def give it a go.

Have wanted to visit for a while and finally managed to pop in. These guys really know their stuff and give great advice. My friend knows what tastes she likes but wasn’t sure what to buy and the staff advised her on what to get based on what she told them. Having just come back from Hawaii I was able to get some Hawaiian coffee, which was great. They are friendly, efficient and knowledgeable!

It is an amazing small shop in the heart of London❤️. In this shop you can find many types of good quality coffee from all over the world like Yemeni matari, Colombian, brazilian,..etc. You can get your coffee beans ground the way you like and add your favourite blend of spices like cardamom, cinnamon,…etc. I always get my coffee beans turkish ground and mix it with ground cardamom to get an amazing flavour. For mate tea lovers, you will find good quality matte tea🧉 as well as its accessories. I usually buy the organic one 😄. You can also enjoy your favourite ready hot coffee ☕️drink from their coffee machine in the shop. They have a good collection of chocolate and nougat bars😋as well as honey and jam. You can find tea pots, coffee grinders, moka…etc. It can get busy at times and you may have to queue up with other customers. The location in the heart of Soho is perfect and close to the train station.( Tottenham court station). The staff are very nice and very helpful . I highly recommend this store specially to my friends and to any one who loves coffee as well as to those who likes to drink matte tea 👍🏻.

This tiny shop is like an Ali-Baba cave for coffees! Selection is enormous, prices are very reasonable, and they can grind it for you. As a bonus, they have very good take-away coffee from £1, a large selection of coffee-making tools, teas, confectionery, hangover drops and even a samovar!

Love this place! They sell espresso for £1 and flat white and cappuccino for £1.50, the cheapest in London! They sell all sorts of coffee and tea. It’s definitely worth a visit if you are coffee and tea lovers.

This is an amazing shop and I love to go in. I always buy a wonderful packet of high roast coffee of the month. It's always brilliant. The staff are always charming and they will grind your coffee as you like. They have fantastic quality coffees and teas from everywhere together with lovely sweety things and brewing pots. They also sell you a coffee to go which at just £1 is practically a steal. I highly recommend this place, best coffee shop I know of.

We had the best experience here!! Went to get souvenirs for people back home, and the woman (co-owner?) at the counter was extremely helpful in making recommendations for us based on what we thought our friends would enjoy. We got coffee, tea, a cherry chocolate bar, and even a cappuccino to go--this will be a staple when we visit again.

Their tagline says ‘no high seatings, no inflated price, just a shot of pure coffee’ and are true to the words. This is a must visit place. It’s just £2 for a Latte and it’s one of the best you can have in London. The staffs are super friendly and attentive.

I would give 6 out of 5 if it was possible :) There are variety of coffee blends from all over the world. It is hard to choose but the staff is really helpful and knowledgeable. They guided me really well. I went for “Formula Rossa”, a blend of African and Brazilian coffees and “Kopi Luwak”,digested coffee cherries by the Asian civets. I paid £27 for 100gr Kopi Luwak which is fair given it is an expensive coffee. They asked how I brew my coffee and grinded it nicely for my moka pot. I brewed it as soon as I arrived home. The coffee was fresh and didn’t dissapoint at all.

Algerian Coffee Stores, which a brilliant place to get all things coffee. Fresh coffee beans and various coffee making equipment such as expresso making pots. I've had a latte here and was simply blown away by the taste of the coffee. The latte I had was seriously smooth coffee, with a steady taste and feel. There are no sharp or overly bitter taste to this coffee, with a consistent taste between the first sip and the after-taste. Just smooth and consistent from start to finish. The price of the latte here is cheaper than many of the cafes on the same street and far better experience. I've only now realised the standard high street cafes are bland compared to this coffee place. The shop also sells chocolates (lots and lots of it), as well as some speciality baked goods. Can't vouch for either though.

Incredible coffee store with huge range of coffee beans, teas and fancy biscuits from around the world. Really helpful and knowledgeable staff and the most wonderful smells! This store has been open at this exact address for 132 years. It is the second oldest store in Soho (Maison Bertaux the cake shop is the oldest by 2 years). Still busy today it’s a rare treat for coffee lovers. Dozens of coffees available as beans or they will grind them for you. They will even mix you a personal blend.

Sublime coffee beans impossible to find this good anywhere else, especially in old school dark roasts. Since moving out of London and trying dozens of shops gave up on trying to find their equal now we order from their website, always arrived promptly a few days after order.

Best place to buy coffee in the world! I get my coffee here once a month for probably the last 5 years, including through Covid. It never fails, always great. If you’re overwhelmed by choice just go for coffee of the month.
