Went a while ago. That day only pizza was served. Our waiter was the loveliest guy ever, so accommodating of a big group. Messed up a little bit of our order but then offered free dessert. Top notch customer service. Interesting interior, must visit for the beatles fan. Good starters, pizza and gelato

Absolutely lovely pasta. So tasty. We started with the buffala salad to share and was the right choice as an appetiser. As main we had to go for Pasta, and the truffle raviolis… incredible, the truffle was fresh and you could taste it. The seafood pasta had a great basil and garlic sauce. And the desserts… one of the best tiramisus I’ve had.

Besos is a lovely Italian restaurant in Covent Garden on Shaftsbury Avenue in the heart of the theatre district. While the food focuses on Italian cuisine, it also has Spanish and Mediterranean influences. There is some seating outside for al fresco dining and the interiors are modern and laid back. From the start, the service was fantastic – Zara was amazing with her recommendations and friendly nature. We were very excited to see the offer for 2 x Aperol Spritz for £10 all day. They were a perfect aperitif sitting outside. We also had a bottle of Gavi Di Gavi Bosco Piemonte (£32) which is crisp and dry and absolutely recommended. There were a great selection of starters on the menu. We opted for a Bruschetta mix (£7) with tomato, tapenade olives and torpedino & artichoke cream The portions and toppings were generous and really tasty. The Organic Burrata (£8) was served with pickled baby onion, 5 colours tomato, thai basil & balsamic reduction and was creamy and filling. Our favourite was the Fassona beef tataki (£9.5) with red chard, sicilia chimmichurri, crunchy bread & shaved parmesan. The presentation was amazing and the beef was great quality with seared edges. The main menu is split between pasta dishes (which can be ordered as a starter) and main courses. The Heart Shape Ravioli (£14) was SO good. It was filled with buffalo mozzarella and tomato served with basil & rocket pesto. The dish was so flavoursome and we consider this a must order! We also had the Porcini mushroom (£17) served with potatoes dauphinoise, roasted parsnips, topinambur cream & mushroom demi-glace. The pastry had great textures and the demi-glace was delicious. Lastly, we tried the Secret iberico pork from extremadura (£19) with purple potato puree & liquorice demi-glace. We were served two pork breasts – one was really tender but the other was a little dry. However, the demi-glace was a great addition. The Alba Hazlenut Affogato (£7) was a fantastic end to the meal without being too heavy. The espresso was poured on top of the delicious hazlenut ice cream. The Chocolate Sicilian Cannolo (£6) (3 in a serving) were tasty but I prefer ricotta to chocolate. Besos is such a great neighbourhood Italian restaurant in Covent Garden. We were impressed with the food and the service was fantastic. Make sure to look out for the set menus. From Monday to Friday between 12-3 you can get 2 courses for £15.90 and 3 courses for £19.90. Lastly, they also offer 4/5 course menus with additional wine pairings. Downstairs Besos also offer private dining in a Beatles themed room as they used to eat at the restaurant and write songs in 1963!

Delicious meal and a lovely atmosphere. Real shame about the starters and the service. We visited here as a group of 6 on a Saturday night with my parents and sister. The atmosphere is nice and the menu is varied. Unfortunately the starters were a bit "sad". The bruschetta was especially pathetic. But when the pizza arrived it made up for it. Delicious, soft and doughy. Fantastic pizza. I'd recommend this as a "safe" and easy option in central London. But not as somewhere that you'll be raving to your friends about afterwards.

Wow wow wow! The food here is just delicious! Selin our hostess was perfectly attentive and made us feel safe that she and the chef 100% understood my partner’s needs being Coeliac. They were able to change everything on the menu to be gluten free (coeliac friendly to the max). This in itself is fantastic. Whilst lots of places claim to understand…a well known pizzeria still cooks their gluten free pizza on a shared gluten containing pizza grill…these guys have a separate pan. The gluten free pizza base was delicious. Light, crispy and like any gluten containing base. The ragu pasta was a lovely mince penne pasta. To finish we had the gluten free chocolate cake which was super moist and came with delicious berries. So…overall I can’t speak highly enough, my only disappointment is that these guys aren’t in my home city! When we are next in London we will definitely be back. From the outset when I messaged earlier in the day asking if they were able to accommodate Coeliac diners to the delivery of delicious coeliac friendly food we cannot rate this place highly enough.

We had a very lovely lunch here at Beso. We had lamp cutlets, a hamburger and some starters. I can say that the lamb cutlets and fries were delicious and the lamb cutlets also came with a lovely sauce. Everything was of quality and overall we were very pleased with the service.

I visited on Sunday for lunch, and I had the loveliest welcome and consistently great friendly service. The food was divine; when we asked for the millefoglie the person serving us said it was their favourite and it did not disappoint - I’ve never tasted anything like this, it was absolutely amazing! So grateful we decided to stop by on a spontaneous visit, I will definitely be coming back again! Thank you so much.

A cosy Italian-Spanish restaurant (so, not just Italian). Pleasant terrace, comfortable interior with a downstairs room commemorating The Beatles’ visit. It is said that The Beatles dined in the restaurant and wrote some of their songs on their napkins. Beso’s menu is interesting in a good way. It was hard to decide whether to take Galician octopus or Iberian pork, so we take them both. Cheers to Zara for the nice service.

31/07/18 We are visiting London this week and we were looking for a nice place to eat near Covent Garden, we checked on Google and we find this tapas restaurant called BESO...interesting name and the menu looked good. We arrived in BESO and we were escort to the table by this lovely receptionist, the waiter explained the menu as we didn't know how many dishes to order, so we followed the waiter suggestion. We ordered chickpeas, beautiful flavour, the cumin and the paprika are great with chickpeas, crispy squid, nice and crispy with Harissa sauce, main tapas we ordered tha Hake and the Lamb, very tasteful. The waiter also suggested Tempranillo Bianco, never taste it, white Tempranillo, and it was great suggestion! To finish the experience I tried the white chocolate Panna cotta and a glass of Passito from Sicily. Great combination. Overall was a pleasant atmosphere, great service and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. I definitely will suggest this place for a tapas experience.

The dishes are delicious, starting from roasted chickpeas to steamed hake to oxtail to crispy duck to amazing vegetable tagine! The atmosphere and staff are very welcoming, perfect place to relax and eat well in the heart of Covent Garden! Oh yes, very good cocktails as well ^^

Food was amazing, I almost don't want to tell anyone about it so it doesn't get too busy to book.
