The Port House - London - Photo album

We went for dinner after seeing a show. The food was all fine, nothing blew me away or was terrible. The staff was all very nice and did a great job. The weirdest issue is the lighting, the excessively orange lighting cancels out a lot of the colour in the food and makes everything an unappealing b
The food was amazing. Service was great. We JUST came from Barcelona last week, on vacation from the US, and wanted Spanish tapas. This place did NOT disappoint. Highly recommended for authentic Spanish tapas.
I've walked past this restaurant so many times without realising it was there, it's tucked away on a busy street but it's such a hidden gem. The food was amazing, especially the croquettes. Great selection of wines and the decor and low lighting gives a intimate date night atmosphere.
Fantastic dining experience, we loved the dark decor and cozy lighting. The food was sublime.
The restaurant is very dimly lit and makes it difficult to read the menu or even see the food when it arrives. A good selection of wine and port, I'd recommend a tasting selection, the cheapest one had a very good selection. The tapas are varied and interesting, unfortunately the two that I really
Amazing place tucked away In heart of London's busiest tourist locations. The entrance is pretty small if you don't pay attention, you may miss it entirely. It's not massive and can get quite busy. So try to call ahead and book a table. Once inside it drowns outs the outside noise fairly quickly. Th
Great food , great service , great location . I even got a spanish crash course from my friendly server Ivan , in fact all the staff that I’ve encountered are all friendly and cheerful , Its great to see people are enjoy what they are doing . Will definitely come back again .
The working staff are so friendly. The taste of food is not special compared to other Spanish restaurants, but the atmosphere inside is good. The downside is that the back of the chair is at a perfect angle of 90 degrees, and it is a wooden chair. It is good to go with a lover, but it is not reco
I can't believe what a complete gem this place is. Everything about our experience was superb. Wine, port and aperitifs were excellent and the food matched perfectly.
Found this place while searching for a casual place to have dinner. A great cozy pub with a nice selection of tapas. The iberico ham and chorizo plates were excellent. Nice selection of Spanish wines including an option for a port tasting. Nice friendly service.
The gentleman that served us is very enthusiastic and happy. Food and prices were great too! Loved the white bait and squid ink paella. Very convenient that they serve coffee 🥰 Right next to Adelphi theater so it’s very handy while waiting for the show.
Delicious tapas with real variety on the menu. Managed to seat 3 of us during a peak Friday night pre-theatre slot. Would definitely recommend.
Outstanding. Great variety of tapas and drinks to select from, and we cannot stop thinking about the tempura eggplant! Can’t wait to return.
Went for dinner prior to a show on a recommendation from our cab driver and we were not disappointed. Some of the best tapas we have had. The beef cheeks and calamari were fantastic. Service was great and the ambiance of the place is perfect.
Lovely cozy atmosphere and good service. The tapas were great and we had a lovely cream sherry. We definitely want to come back and try many more tapas and ports
Every thing that I tried here was amazing. It was the perfect solo birthday dinner 🍽️. I love a good tapas restaurant. The restaurant has a low light atmosphere with candles at the table which helps set a calm tone. The olives 🫒 where the best olives I have ever tasted. I would go back just for the
What a gem in such a touristy part of London! Excellent tapas, good range of drinks, efficient service and atmospheric surroundings. Could not ask for more. We will definitely look forward to coming here again.
Excellent hidden tapas bar! As Spanish, I was a little unsure about trying this restaurant, but I have to admit, the food tastes absolutely delicious brining me back to my land for the experience. The staff members were very polite and friendly always trying the best to help and make our experience
Stumbled into the Port House. Was looking for a late lunch spot and came across this spot. Food spot on. Delicious tapas. Very authentic Spanish tapas. Interesting wine list and even some Madeiras which you don’t come across often. A little gem in a busy area. Highly recommend.
