This is the best spot in London for gin lovers and those who want to learn about gin. I understand they have around 350 bottles to choose from (too many for me to count and verify). They offer a number of different gin tastings as well as some gin “classes”. They offer many flights based on category (style, region, etc). I selected a flight that covered the 8 main flavor styles (flavor spectrum): dry, floral, citrus, savory, sweet, spice, aromatic, sloe gin. They all come with their own garnish. It’s best shared by two people as it is a lot of gin (eight 1-ounce fins + tonic). I was by myself and didn’t finish each gin as I needed to be able to walk back to tune and find the hotel. I really wanted to try a rhubarb gin so they let me swap the sloe gin for one of my choosing. You could opt to to make your own substitutions. Next time I will try a blind tasting. They bring 4 gins and sample of garnishes and let you experiment with pairing the garnish without any foreknowledge about the gin. The staff is eager to explain the gin to you and answer any questions during the experience. I highly recommend this place!
Fantastic bar for gin lovers and those who are new to Gin! The staff are extremely helpful and spend time getting to know what gins you normally like to make great recommendations. They also do good value tasting boards, gin soaked pies & gin tasting events!
