Since opening they have vastly improved and I’ve been here at about 4 times, one of the times was their second week of opening so I can see how much improvements they’ve made since. Though they need to look into what cleaning materials are best for their tables. Using the same excuse more than once is not good enough. It makes a massive difference to eating experience as most people rest their arms on the tables. Other than that, the food and drinks are of good quality and the deals they sometimes have on are reasonably good. Service is good, the staff on the floor and behind the bar are on top of everything, making sure all customers are happy.

Fantastic food in the most unassuming location. The service was excellent and very efficient, however if you want a slower paced dining experience I wouldn't visit here - it was perfect for me however! I had the 5 course menu which I managed to secure using a half price voucher, but even at full price it is more than worth it. We added some extras which I would highly recommend (tuna and prawn roll). Planning my next visit already!

As always, the food was delicious & the staff were brilliant. We sat up at the sushi counter for the first time and it made change. The six-course taster menu is a taste sensation, I'd recommend the prawn tempura roll as an add on, absolutely incredible!

The food was amazing especially the way of cooking it while having the meal was interactive. Highly recommend anyone who would like to try Wagyu beef. Also, most ingredients come from the raw food processed in-house.

We used a five course voucher and every course was delicious. We ordered some extras including 9 chapel roll which is a must have! Service was impeccable. Everyone was so friendly. Had a great experience!

Really tasty food. A5 Wagyu was really authentic and fantastic, like the one we had in Japan. The hot stone experience was unique and entertaining. Overall nice experience, good flavours. Small portion, I recommend a multi-course experience

The food was amazing, everything was so soft and falls apart in your mouth. Staff were attentive and food was served promptly with plates cleared straight after finishing and next courses served immediately. Cocktails looked incredible too even though we didn’t get any. Presentation was great too and plates were beautiful.

The staff went above and beyond. They were incredibly welcoming and advised us on the best food to compliment our 5 course meal. The food was outstanding, with every course being exquisite. The black cod was the best we’ve tried. Will definitely come back and would love to try their sister restaurants too.

The food was great. We took the tasting menu with paired wines and sake. Minor complaint is that we were still drinking our aperitif when they already poured the wine for the first course. Same with follow up courses, as soon as we were finished the next wine was poured and the next course was presented. This gave the impression that we needed to hurry, which is not something you should do in a place like this.

The food was excellent and service was amazing. Every dish was explained to us and the staff were so attentive to make sure we were happy. Knowing that the restaurant was busy, the team was still very accommodating when one member of our party was running late! Would definitely recommend!

good experience, slightly slow service as it can get quite busy, but worth the wait. we came in having booked a table for the 5th bdday voucher from hotstone. I suggest adding a fatty tuna and avocado roll or rice with the steak, tonmake sure that you are full after your meal. rice + tuna roll + drinks + service charge amounted to 70+ gbp for 3 people.

I don't know why it took me so long to leave this review as this was definitely one of the best experiences I've ever had! We took advantage of the discount for the tasting menu and went on a lovely date with delicious food and excellent service. The place itself is very small and gets really busy.. also it took us a month in advance to get a booking but everything was well worth it when the food and drinks arrived to our table. The chef made sure everyone was enjoying their food which made the tasting experience even more special. Definitely a place to give it a try! Believe me, the hype is real with this one 🍱🥢

A nice tasting experience but portions were nowhere near enough to feel satisfied, even after 5 courses. The service was good and quick however after offering and recommending the oysters they ended up running out of oysters by the time we ordered them and then still added them to the bill, this was easily cleared up but we expected more from the service and food availability. The venue has a cosy yet classy atmosphere but some of the tables are too close together which reduces the classy feel. The space overall is very small, I couldn't stand up in the toilets as the ceiling was so low.

I recently dined at this restaurant and I have to say, I absolutely loved the food and the service. The Wagyu beef was especially nice - it was cooked to perfection by me on the hot stone and simply melted in my mouth. The staff were friendly, attentive and made sure our experience was enjoyable. However, I did notice that the ventilation wasn't great when everyone was cooking on the hot stone together around the same time. It got quite stuffy and uncomfortable.

Really enjoyed all of the food. Loved the sashimi especially (personal favourite). The cheese cake at the end was also delicious. Would prefer the slices of meat to be thinner but it’s a minor point.

It was absolutely incredible! From the delicious food to the impeccable presentation and outstanding service... Perfection! The only minor improvement could be slightly larger food portions!

Superb service, food and cocktails. A very warm welcome and wonderfully friendly & knowledgeable staff greeted us on arrival. The buttery sashimi and Wagu were outstanding, but the miso truffle aubergine was the best aubergine we've ever tasted. We'd not hesitate to recommend the food, cocktails and impeccable service, we'll definitely be back.
