Awesome lunch at Steak and Co today. The weather was cold, wet and cloudy. But the food and the courteous staff helped us forget about those elements. The ambience was great and the food was amazing. We ordered the Sizzling Sliced Sirloin and Chicken Bacon and Mushroom. The taste and flavours were amazing. The steak is brought on steak stone where we can finish it off as we like. We also ordered the amazing Rocky Road Sudae, which I can still taste in my mouth. Even at 4 pm the place was really busy, speaks for itself!!
Nice ambiance, friendliest staff but very expensive for Beef and Chorizo £7.95 but the food is just okay. Will try their other menu options next time😬
The best steak in london , I visited twice this week and I will come back again on Christmas, my wife and my kid we love the food and the best red wine
Such a nice place to eat in the heart of London. But if you don't like to cook your own steak I probably wouldn't order the steak. My friend and I did and it was really nice! Quality meat and good sauces to go along. Service was really great too our waiter was checking on us at the right times and showed us what to do with out steaks and sauces one the hot plate. I would go to again
I went here with my husband yesterday for lunch and it was a really good experience. Menu was really good and staff was all attentive and helpful. Place was really beautiful and had a very calm ambience. We had chicken and leek and lamb cutlets, both were incredibly delicious. Sides were really good in portions and so were the wines. I would love to be back here.

Love the atmosphere of this place. This was our first time and so the idea that you finish cooking your steak to your idea of perfection on a hot stone was awesome!
The choice on the menu was wonderful and we all wanted to come back before we are it looked so good.
The concept is that the steaks are just sealed in the kitchen and served to you on hot stones. They all come served rare with a salt a butter and a sauce. You take the stakes of the stone immediately so they don't burn, and then you cut a piece put your butter salt and sauce if you want on the stone, then put your piece of steak on the stone to finish cooking it and seasoning it like you want.
I like my steak very rare so the way it came out with was perfect and it didn't need my cooking. However because of how quickly they see the steak in the kitchen, it does need seasoning so whether you use the salt straight on your steak or on the stone, you do need to use it.
Our waitress was wonderful, and suggested that even though a few of us didn't want butter salt or sauce that we should get it. She was right. She also recommended that one of our party didn't have the sliced steak, even though it is still tasty, it's not a good representation of the restaurant for our first visit.
The side orders were pretty good. The fries, sweet potato fries, jacket potato, onion rings and garlic mushrooms were all great. The huge disappointment were the seasonal vegetables. They tasted precut and microwaved, and if they weren't microwaved they were old before they were boiled. You can see in the picture each piece of vegetable was very small and for the price that was a serious disappointment.
 The waitress was again wonderful with our drinks, with no cocktail menu she went behind the bar and made a long island iced tea herself which was delicious.
Even the bill wasn't that bad when it came however, the £1 cover charge each was pretty irksome. Overall the service and the food was great and we will definitely be back to the chain.
Yummy food, love the idea of the hot stone and cooking my own steak. We went here because there was halal meat but there wasn't much choice for us unfortunately :( at least three choices would have been nice. I wouldn't recommend sitting near the door, there was a gush of wind every time the door opened and shut -we asked to be moved and they happily moved us when there were seats available, thank you for this. The food was nice, nice selection of sauces, perfect portions.
Paul Hyman. A fabulous new take on steak. This is no ordinary steakhouse; the steak is served to you on a heated stone where you can finish cooking it anyway you like. With a fantastic range of sauces and butters to acompany it, this a truely unique way of getting exactly what you want. Even the last mouthful tastes as great as the first because you steak will not get cold. The service and surroundings is outstanding, and reminds me of that great American chain 'Smith & Wollensky's'. The other great thing about this Steak & Co is that you feel like you could eat there 2 or 3 times a week because it is so relaxed, with a great variety on the menu. Almost forgot to mention the ribs that I had as a starter- all I can say is amazing, and if you like a bit of a kick try the Jack Daniels sauce on them!
Royal Feast. What a great restaurant. we were taken to dinner by my uncle and aunt who had eaten here before. their recommendation was brilliant. we ate steaks which cooked to a minimum maybe medium rare and then served on a hot stone. we all cooked our steaks differently the way we liked. if you dont like it too well done you put it on your side plate and put slices back on to cook on the stone with a butter to give it even more taste. we are visiting the uk from canada for the royal wedding which was amazing. we are going to have one last meal there when we return to london before we leave to return home.
Since we were looking for a substantial meal near in Leicester square, we settle on this place. We were seated outside and quickly began browsing the menu. My captain Morgan and coke came already mixed with distinctive taste. they were clearly generous with the quantity served. The ordered steak was my main course and a the lighter dish to start with was selected as mussels which were of decent portions. it was delicious. the service was non intrusive while being communicative and attentive. i shall be re-visiting.
This place offers an innovative way of serving and having steaks, and that is the reason I keep coming back to this place again and again. The steaks are served in a smoking hot plate and the idea is to marinate your steak according to your specifications and have it as you like it. The quality of steak was amazing and the recommendations that I got from the server made my day.

When you visit this area as a tourist then this is just the ideal place to stop by and eat a steak with a pint of beer. You can just enjoy your meal and relax for a while before you continue your tour. This was the second occasion that I visited this place and I had an amazing experience again!
I happened to visit this place randomly a couple of weeks ago and loved their steaks. We called for a couple of dishes out of which, the steak tasted absolutely brilliant and most of the other dishes tasted nice as well. The only small thing that I didn't like about this place was the plates that they serve their Steaks in, and apart from that, all the dishes were delcious.
I had been to this place a couple of months ago and decided to visit it again last week as my kids loved their steaks. We called for a Ribeye, which was professionally prepared and tasted amazing. Most of the dishes that we ordered tasted delicious, except for the Mac and cheese.
The kids enjoyed their dinner, and that was all I came to this place for.
Great sirloin steak, thick and juicy. Decided this time to avoid the self cook option, it was too much hassle last time. Chips were fantastic too. Sticky toffee pudding was OK. Service was nice and friendly.
Had the lunch special 6oz steak cooked yourself on a hot stone. Overall, a decent meal but nothing to shout about.
You can probably get the same thing - cooked from a pub! You are probably paying for the experience of cooking your steak on a piece of hot stone.
Would I come again, probably not. However, kudos to the staff who were friendly and attentive.
We stopped in for a quick bit… food was actually not to bad… the ribs were quite tense with a lite dressing. The bass was quite fresh , however lacked just a little flavor… still pretty good however.
We got into London late at night from Australia and we’re starving steak and company fit us in for a late dinner my gosh was it amazing we had the steaks and fish and chips best steaks I’ve ever had!
But the best part was our host Josh he was so friendly and charismatic and really made the night extra special. Thank you Josh! We will definitely be back

This is the 4th time I have been to steak & co Leicester Square, my husband and I normally come here for my birthday each year. This time we decided to take my father for the first time for his birthday.
As soon as we arrived at the restaurant the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. When we were seated we were offered water straight away. Our waitress came and introduced herself, I can not remember her name but I remember her saying she was Romanian. She was so so friendly, extremely good at her job and was very helpful with helping us pick our food.
We ordered the cheese burger spring rolls. OMG. I know it stupid, but it literally tastes like a cheese burger in a spring roll! They were bloody incredible. I had the buratta and my husband the prawns. Both very pleasant, good portions and full of flavour.
For mains, my husband wanted a bigger steak but also wanted the hot stone, the waitress was brilliant and said he can order the bigger steak and they bring it with the hot stone and the butter and sauce. This was brilliant because my husband is a big foodie, so this meant he can still enjoy the experience but have more food.
The starters came out within 5 minutes of ordering, which was just way too quick. But at least with the mains they took longer, maybe 25/30 minutes, meaning we could enjoy the company and enjoy the drinks.
Our mains came, my dad was so impressed with the creativity of cooking the steak yourself. We are a steak loving family and this just gives eating steak a more fun experience. All the steak were perfectly seasoned. The steak the fabulous. The chips were also very good and crunchy, kind of a small portion though. The mac and cheese was the show. It was so gooey and well cheesy! Really enjoyed it.
Because my husband and my father are such big eater, they decided to order a tomawawk and another Mac and cheese. My husband doesn’t like his meat anything but well done, but the tomawawk came out medium but my husband loved it! I tried some too and it was incredibly tender and was packed with flavour.
The only thing I would say, it did not look like 32oz. It was already sliced and off the bone (which was actually very helpful) but the bone and the portion of meat did not look like 32oz.
Overall, the experience was great, like every time we came. We spoke with the manager about how good our experience was and he was also very kind and friendly. Would highly recommend this place and will probably be back for my birthday in December like I always am!
Accessible Facilities. If the weathers suitable it’s an Excellent Location to take in the atmosphere outside in the restaurants comfortable “garden” area of this busy London Tourist hub .Service First class. Food was well presented with some thought put into the menu with a different take on old favourites.
Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here. Classy and delicious! Both prawns and the steak were outstanding. Our waiter provided the most wonderful experience, can’t thank him enough. Will definitely visit again
Jasmeena was a lovely waitress. Fabulous service. Positive attitude. Could never ask for a better waitress. The steak was a bit raw for me as I did ask medium well done, however it there was a lot of blood from the steak which I am assuming was an error . Even though the food was not great the service is the reason why I am rating overall experience high. She deserves a pay rise or a bonus. She is an asset to your business.
My husband and I had a wonderful dinner here last night! Josh our waiter made the experience truly wonderful! He was helpful with menu selections and when he heard I wasn’t drinking alcohol, he showed me the alcohol free cocktail menu. The drink I chose was very delicious. The food was outstanding and the theatre prefix menu had many options to choose from.
Comes with a halal menu. Steak, chips, and tuna tataki were marvellous. Steak was cooked to perfection, chips were crispy outside with an extremely soft and fluffy inside, tuna were delicious. The Coca-Cola comes with a lemon, and if that isn't details I don't know what is. One of our orders were mistakenly rare, but they offered to fix it with a new steak. 10/10 would recommend.
Beautiful decoration and very central, especially if you're going to the theatre after as we did (to see Bonnie and Clyde).
The staff was very welcoming and efficient, and the place is very nice looking (but somewhat loud).
Our steaks were delicious, but be prepared for sticker shock. We payed about 120 pounds for 2 steaks, 1 bottle of wine and 1 bottle of water. No starters and no dessert. And all side dishes are extra, without that many healthy options (we asked for broccoli, they didn't have it).
It was very good, but I'm not sure if it was 120 pounds good (plus tipping, of course).
Amazing waitresses and waiters. Manager was awesome. And the food was out of this world. It was just a shame we didn't have room for gelato! We will be back.
Don’t let the fact that this is a chain, and in a tourist trap put you off! Succulent rib eye served with a refreshing and crisp salad plus fries. Very well cooked and a quality piece of meat that melted in the mouth. Service also spot on and not rushed. It’s a little

Very good hospitality, I came here for my birthday with my wife, they welcomed us with some non alcoholic Prosecco on the house.
For starters we shared the garlic chilli prawns, we were recommended to get the assorted bread to go with this - great suggestion by the waiter as this tasted fantastic.
For mains we both got the sirloin - cooked perfectly. For sides we had the Chucky chips and Mac & Cheese. Both tasted really good and very well seasoned.
Overall a very warm environment with fantastic service and food.
Very nice and comfy. Good selection of entrees and steaks are nice: I wish they have Tbone though. We sat outside and the service was really nice . Service staff were friendly and took pictures with everyone!
My partner and I came here today for a date. The atmosphere and customer service was amazing. We were greeted by a sweet hostess and were taken to our table (we had a booth seat). Our waiter (Kash) was amazing. When taking our order, he was very friendly and gave us a great laugh (while still remaining professional), which made our evening really special and enjoyable. We will be back and try other options on the menu. We both had a ribeye steak 12oz and a portion of fries with a house salad. The steaks were delicious and melted in our mouths.

I would recommend. Price was typical for restaurant like this maybe little more expensive but it’s because of the place. Staff were friendly and smiled. Place itself was quier and enjoyable.
Food was amazing. Fries were one of the best ones i have ever tasted. I ordered my steak medium rare and got it exactly medium rare. Steak wasn’t anything suprising it was exactly what you can expect.
Overall 5/5 experience i would recommend. Price was equal to quality and experience.
