Scoff & Banter, Oxford Street – Scoff & Banter is one of a chain restaurants inside Radisson Blu Hotel. The decoration and furnishings are very much the standard norm of a hotel's chain restaurant ie. no personal to the place (I don't intend to sound harsh). I'd imagine myself as a hotel guest at Radisson Blu, it would simply be amazing if shopping was what I came to London for. The dining room is a long and rectangular room that sits probably 25 – 30 people at a squeeze. A small bar in the corner but sufficiently adequate with their cocktails, bubbly and wine.

Guests who were there were shoppers taking a moment from their shopping excursion, plunge themselves on the sofa with paperbags surrounding them. A need for refreshments to continue their next shopping phase. Scoff & Banter is furnished and set up as a bar.

Scoff and Banter serves typical English food. Prices are reasonable. Food came reasonably quickly.

The only waiter there was overly enthusiastic about everything and sometimes this just comes across a little too much. He was welcoming, but I think his presence for a small dining room is slightly over-powering.

Scoff & Banter is quite trendy and I am happy to be here. Food was good but I would lower the volume of the music. Still, the wifi connection is good.

The food:
1. smoked duck GBP 4.75 –  a small but tasty dish, slices of duck wrapped around bits of orange, the meat was cold. Yes, not room temperature but cold.

2. salmon fillet with seafood broth GBP 12.00 – The salmon is slightly on the small side but surprisingly it was just enough. The skin was crispy but the salmon was overdone and very dry. The potatoes were delicious and the seafood sauce carries an odd taste of bitterness with a sweetness that comes after like a immediate rescue needed before serving to mask the urgh broth.

3. fish and chips GBP 12.00 - plenty of chips and a small piece of cod that was, cooked beautifully, with a tasty, crisp batter. The tartare sauce was mild and mushy peas were quite pleasant. It is easier to eat from a plate rather than a shallow frying basket I must say.

The Berkshire has a great location for staying if you are on a shopping spree in London.Wedged between Debenhams/John Lewis on one side and H&M and Selfridges on the other and directly opposite the Bond Street tube station. The breakfast room on the first floor serves a good hearty English breakfast with some fast friendly service,But the restaurant/cafe on the ground floor near the main enterance is a real let down !!! made the mistake of "trying" the inhouse eatery. It took over half an hour to take our order and over an hour for the food to be served and that too C O L D,poorly presented,BLAND and with an apology of accompaniaments. What made it worse was the price for which we could have enjoyed a super meal elsewhere. Guys stay at The Berkshire--a great place but avoid lunch/dinner.

This was a really nice afternoon tea spot. I really enjoyed the starters, very tasty. I didn’t really like the sandwiches and the desserts but the scones were okay. The tea was also nice and you get a cute teapot to yourself.

I cannot say enough kind words about my afternoon tea experience at the Bond St. Tea Room. I’d first like to note I looked and researched every afternoon tea in London. I booked here and thanks to Sahal and Shahanad they exceeded any expectations I had. I was running late, passed the allowed grace period, and called the restaurant. Not only did they still honor my reservation, once I arrived someone was waiting at the door to guide me up to the room. When we arrived we were the only guests (probably due to the lateness on my behalf) but it felt like the most exquisite private dining room experience. I truly felt like a queen. We receive 4 courses accompanied by tea and champagne. First was a small appetizer and after you’re finished they bring you the traditional tower filled with finger sandwiches, scones and desserts. Everything was timed perfectly and the manager Shahanad suggested certain teas and even let us try his favorite. For a much lower price compared to other teas houses in the area, you get more courses, and food bursting with flavor without sacrificing quality. This was the best meal I had during my stay in London. The staff is extremely attentive, kind and knowledgeable. They come by and check on you to make sure you have everything you need unlike most places that will just drop off your meals. They offered to take our photo to remember the experience. We felt welcomed and you can tell they genuinely cared about our experience. It was my first time in London. It has been my lifelong dream to come here and being a tea lover, afternoon tea was something I could not miss. Thank you once again for making this experience truly special and one of the main highlights of my trip. I cannot recommend Bond St. Tea Rooms and the staff enough!!

Afternoon tea with an Italian twist, served in a traditional hotel dining room. Traditional in a good way - think wood panelling and leather chairs. The service was excellent, and the food was high quality, particularly the Italian starters and the desserts. We started with a glass of Prosecco to accompany the starters, then moved on to tea with the sandwiches, scones, and desserts. There are at least 10 teas on the menu, and each diner personalises their meal by choosing 2 selections from each of the 4 menu sections. Fantastic value for money and a lovely respite from the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street.

Located right next to the Bond Street tube station, inside the Radisson Blu on the second floor. A very cosy and welcoming tea room with attentive and friendly service. You have the option of choosing three types of tea experiences, regular tea, prosecco and tea or a champagne tea (all at their respective price points). These all come with a choice of two starters, two sandwiches, two scones and two desserts. There are vegetarian options to choose from! I recommend you come hungry as you'll definitely be leaving stuffed!

After much research, we decided on this location due to the options on the menu, something to suit everyone! For a first afternoon tea experience, it was brilliant! Great attention to detail and service by Ishwar and Sahal couldn't be faulted.

This was everything we could ever hope for and more from an afternoon tea. Shehared (sp?) and Sahel were AMAZING and constantly checked on us. We started with our choice of two appetizers (the tuna tartare was amazing!) and moved onto the three tiered finger sandwiches, scones, and desserts. The tea and prosecco were great too and the price was right! I will be coming back!

Really excellent food and love the ability to choose your options. The mushroom tortellini was absoulty amazing. I agree with another reviewer that the sandwich's could have been more plentiful. The chicken club was particularly small but the salmon bagel was perfect. Scones and dolci were perfect. Only thing I would say is that the staff could read the customers better. They were very efficient, but at times over friendly. They were asking me questions and even when I was giving one word answers were continuing and I heard them ask a couple about why they were there. The couple said it was their anniversary and the server then stayed and talked to them for ages and I could feel that the couple wanted to be left alone. Amazingly attentive though.

Had an absolutely amazing afternoon tea experience. Amazing food, great value for money, and great service, especially Janet and Heera. Nice that each guest can pick what they'd like to eat. They provided a lovely birthday surprise. No complaints! And thank you :)

Me and my partner did the high tea with Prosecco. The staff was incredibly friendly and kept checking how everything was. The menu was nice however we questioned the freshness of the food. Some items didn’t tasted nor felt that fresh unfortunately. Nevertheless, we still had a great time. Thank you

We had a lovely time here with my mum. The staff were all really lovely. We had a gift voucher given as a present last year and it was about to expire at the end of the month so we squeezed it in. Unfortunately the voucher was for high tea which they stopped doing a few months back. The team and the manager were so apologetic and discounted our afternoon tea to make up for it. Although it did cause a delay to us getting our food, the staff went over and above to make us feel welcome. The food and tea was excellent quality and very filling. The location and ambience were nice as well. It was nice to have a hot starter section so it felt more like a main meal than just sandwiches. We would definitely recommend and come back in the future.

The food, tea, and service here were excellent, especially for the price point. Each food item was delicious and we really enjoyed tasting each. We had another afternoon tea some place else at a similar price point and it was far less enjoyable, especially the food. I'm convinced this place is the greatest bang for your buck if you're wanting to experience afternoon tea. The only detractor was noise from construction occurring across the street, which of course can't be controlled. I'm so very glad we came here!! **A very big thank you to Shihaned and Shahel for a lovely experience!**

Afternoon tea had excellent options to choose from. Staff are nice. Tortellini was superb. Decent sandwiches. Desserts especially Tiramisu were delicious. It wasn't too busy even on a Sunday. Easy to commute to as walking distance from Bond street station.

Americans stopping for one night in London to cap off our honeymoon. It was our first time having afternoon tea, so we don't have much to compare it against. That being said it checked all the boxes for us. Ambience, food and service were amazing and we had a great time!

Location easy to get to by tube and bus as it's on Oxford Street. Next door to Debenhams. Entry via hotel lobby and access via lift or stairs to first floor. The tables are laid out beautifully. The China is just gorgeous! This is afternoon tea with a difference you get a menu and choose 2 items from each of the sections. The starters we had were hot and so tasty. They are followed by the more traditional scones, sandwiches and deserts. All very fresh. There is an extensive choice of teas and we had a bottle of presecco as part of our package. The service was very good - attentive but not intrusive. We felt that the cost was reasonable for all that was included in the package. I have attached some photos of our food choices. More available on the menu. Dietary requirements were also taken care of.We felt this is a special afternoon tea and will add to our list for a revisit. Thanks
