Favourite place to go to Instagram worthy pictures of ice cream given their cutesy decor and swing inside. They do amazing toppings, love their idea of running a flavour of the month contest, god knows I've tried and failed every month I'm in London but hey! It's worth the shot🤷🏽♀️
So not a new kid on the block but certainly a favourite of mine. After a thoroughly disappointing dinner at Exmouth Market, we decided that ice cream was needed to cheer us up. And if you’re in Islington, there’s really only one choice, Udderlicious. As they mention on their website, their ice creams and sorbets are all made in store and they use organic milk from British farms. They have a flavour of the month, literally, so you can go for that or opt for a tasting session as the Boozy Bunch crew did. I am always oddly embarrassed to ask to try a lot of flavours, maybe because I am hyper-conscious of a small business owner’s overheads. Note: this did not stop the rest of them. Spoons of joy!
A local ice cream place which sells really nice flavours which always change. I always by the big tub to take home and highly recommend the chocolate and the hazelnut flavours!
On my continued quest for the perfect ice cream, we dropped by this place recently and I had the banana caramel and peanut butter. The flavors were very good, the scoop size decent and even the cones were tasty!
What is the best ice-cream made of? Unicorn tears and rainbow drops. So proclaims the wall art of Udderlicious , the latest addition to Upper Street. And it must be true for their ice cream is heavenly and simply the best I had in a long while. When I first spotted Udderlicious, I thought the timing was rather odd. To launch an ice cream business as temperatures plunge must be a test of faith. Yet it probably is not such a far fetched idea after all for surely there must be days when one just craves for sweeties. Well at least that was how I found myself drawn to Udderlicious one afternoon. Udderlicious is owned and run by a friendly husb
Udderlicious is one of the best independent ice cream places I've been to in London. I like the fact that they are not part of a chain and that they make their ice cream daily. They have classic flavors and also make their own which is pretty cool because they have nice creations like elderflower and lemon sorbet which is delicious!
The shop is really cute, they've made it look rustic with wooden chairs and a swing for two. The people who work here are super nice and if you can't chose what you want, they let you taste any flavors you're curious about and they're really patient even if there's a line.
Who doesn't love ice cream, especially when it's a family-owned store that's actually open after dinner so you can have dessert *out*? Such is the premise behind Udderlicious, a small ice cream shop on Islington's Upper Street. My favourite flavour is their salted caramel, but the dark chocolate and sea salt sorbet also calls to me on occasion. The shop also makes brownie sundaes and banana splits, for all you die-hard ice cream lovers out there (ahem, me). A lovely place with an adorable seating area where you can enjoy your ice cream and people watch from the shop window.
This is place to go to if none of the desserts look appetizing in the restaurant that you’re in. Or even if you see something you like, skip it and come here anyway, ‘cos this is probably better.
The ice cream here is one of the best I’ve tasted in London, with the Nutella, raspberry cheesecake and white chocolate flavours being personal favourites. However, the price of it being £4.80 for two scoops stops me from visiting frequently.
The shop is tiny too and there is limited seating, so if you fancy coming here make sure to dress warmly so you can carry the ice cream around in the winter weather without getting frostbite.
Insanely good flavours on offer here at this unique ice-creamery. The for out is quaint and inviting with a real modern farmhouse feel. There's even a swinging chair you can settle into (if you can ever find it empty!) Feel free to try any flavour to help you decision and there are also a number of toppings on offer should you desire. The best part? Suggest a flavour to be made and you could win 'Flavour of the Month'. You get your picture on the wall, they make your flavour and best of all you win a months supply of free icecream (i'm still yet to win...).
Love their ice cream and amazing creamy soft sorbet. The best thing is that they do monthly new flavours and they are open till very late. Nothing is better than having ice cream late at night with a nice cup of hot coffee!
I wasn't expecting to have such a wide selection of vegan flavours. Creamy ones too. My favourite was peanut butter and pretzel. Udderly moreish! Nice hammock to sit and enjoy the ice cream 😋🫥
I opted for the pistachio and raspberry cheesecake, which they are exceptionally smooth in texture. The staff was friendly and offered us a tasting before we made our final selection. The pricing was reasonable, adding to the overall positive experience.
I can see where the hype is coming from, the ice creams are delicious, all the flavours are so different than your usual vanilla chocolate! It’s super creamy, full of flavour and just super generous portions!
Little cute shop with delicious ice creams, good service, popular place in Angel- Islington area, fun place to have a sit relax and have ice cream 🍦 . Don't miss to have brownie sundae, it's great
Cute Ice Cream shop with a wide selection of flavours. I tried the Raspberry Cheesecake on a cone for £3.75 which was really nice with a generous scoop.
They also do various sundaes, ice cream shakes and hot drinks.
Even though a small shop they have fitted in lots of unique seating, decorations and a swing seat.
Girls serving were really friendly and provided prompt efficient service. The shop has a nice community feel and they like to get there customers involved in the flavours they stock, which I thought was a nice touch.
Had some delicious ice cream here on a Saturday evening. I got two flavours (chocolate and peanut butter, dark chocolate sea salt) and my other half got one (mango sorbet). All the flavours were excellent. Big thanks to the scooper behind the counter who gave the peanut butter/chocolate as a recommendation - it was the highlight. Hope to come back soon.
Delicious vegan ice cream options, always lots of flavors, including smores, chocolate brownie, honeycomb, etc. Milkshakes here are very good! Also the service is great.
Plenty flavours to choose from. Fresh and half made. My favourite ice cream shop. Delicious!
This gelato experience changed my life! I'm not used to seeing vegan gelato, but the flavours here are seriously exceptional. I got the Hazelnut Straciatella and I haven't been the same since.
A must if you're in London and you have a sweet tooth.
