Very cute little cafe. We headed here for late lunch - it is very popular and we were sat in the window until another seat became available. The staff seemed run off their feet - I think we were there the day after an article appeared in the evening standard so they got slammed!!
They have an excellent non alcoholic drink selection. I had a lovely not too sweet elderflower presse. The food was prompt and good sized portion. We order the English salad - out of curiosity and it was curious, yummy but curious! I got the croquettes - which were yummy if not a wee bit over cooked. It came served with shoe string fried which were extra crunchy and some salad - which was a bit sad looking with tonnes of dressing but I think they were running out of food as we overhead the table next to us that the kitchen was closed. We were a lite disappointed with the food - as we had high expectations. We did get a brownie each for the wait. We'll give it another go (if we ever see it without a queue) and probably try one of the breakfast dishes next time - they looked amazing!!!!

It's such a wonderful little cafe off St. Paul's road in Islington. The staff is always so welcoming and provide top rate service. I recommend a crépe with one of their freshly blended smoothies.

Really good food, great selection on the menu at affordable prices, generous portions, friendly staff and quick service. Located just across the road from the lovely Alwyne Castle pub. Four of us ate lunch with drinks and the bill came to £34. Will definitely go back and try other foods on the menu. My son’s loved the pancakes.

The food was very well priced, filling and tasty (although nothing special if I‘m being fair). The crepes were huge and a really good dessert choice! Great for a quick morning stop - but no wow factor to keep me going back again and again.

We had an English breakfast and pancakes, they were absolutely delicious! The service was fast and super friendly! The place isn't big, but very cozy and cute. We'll definitely go back more times.

Delicious eggs and avocado, the sun-dried tomatoes have it a great flavour. The back room is bright and airy, perfect for a weekend brunch. Excellent service too, even got a complimentary biscuit with the coffee.

Lovely place with a heartwarming staff, delicious sweets, tasty beverages but most importantly great (look at the size of it, it's huge!) Full English Breakfast. One of those can sustain you for the whole day! Just don't forget to grab a tea with it and enjoy the café's atmosphere and local architecture ;)

£6.95 for a full English within zone 2! 2 eggs, 2 rashers of bacon (sometimes there's a third snuck in), 1 big sausage, 2 hash browns, 4 cherry tomatoes, 1 Portobello mushroom, a generous portion of beans, and a slice of toast. Love thy name is "New London cafe on slow Sunday morning". Aaaand with the full English you can add a hot drink for £1. It's a dream. Other food options I'm told are good. On the decor front they've got a wall of women from aorund the 50s, my gf and I don't get it, but it is amusing. Service is good, tend to take and produce orders quickly and will check that everything is alright, but they're not intrusive.

Lovely neighborhood place to grab brunch. Never too packed but always full!! Great for a no-frills weekend brunch or quiet week day meal.

Fabulous food and great coffee, would have been 5 stars but for the fact that I felt a distinctly cold draught.

The service is friendly and polite, and the breakfast cooked well. However, none of the food is overwhelming. For example the eggs are very ordinary, where as Clarence Court eggs or similar would have made a huge difference, which I be will be pay for. As an update my partner had pouched eggs with hollandaise sauce. One or the other may have been bad, as she had a bad stomach about an hour later. I won't change the review rating as these things happen.

Really lovely baquette and breakfast. The coffee is nothing short of divine. It was almost empty on Friday morning, which was unexpected - then again the location is not that central, so it's definitely one of the jewels you'd wish to travel to. I can only recommend.
