I’ve been living in this neighbourhood for more than three years now and never saw this place. Last week it was recommended to me and I thought I would try it. I had breakfast there this morning and must admit I really liked it. The scrambled eggs and salmon were tasty, the eggs Benedict really good and well presented and each came with baguette or brioche which was great. The owner half French half Greek took really good care of us and was very nice. I would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back to try the lunch and dinner.

A nice and cosy restaurant with only around 4 tables and excellent service. The owner herself is the chef and a warm and welcoming person. The meals are inspired by french cuisine but with a personal touch. We really enjoyed the dinner and wine in a calm and peaceful atmosphere. Something we did not expect in the middle of Maida Hill. For us a very unique restaurant and for sure worth a visit. Just do not forget to book a table in advance.

Was planning a dinner out with a friend and played a bit with the Explore tab of my Google Maps, looking for a new restaurant in the area. When we arrived we had the most pleasant surprise. I am very picky with French cuisine, but this small restaurant is amazing. In every bite you can taste the quality of the ingredients, everything is fresh and is cooked with competence an passion. I enjoyed the rabbit and the duck dish, which were both cooked to perfection. Every bit on our plates was absolutely perfect, including the side veggies! I will be dreaming of the artichokes with herbal sauce, night after night! The service is professional, attentive and friendly, the chef is passionate and super competent. The prices are fair for the food and the wine they serve. I am amazed by the professionalism and the courage to run a high quality French restaurant in this location. Kudos to this place and the team that runs it! I cannot wait to visit again and again

Amazing experience, great service from our waiter and amazing food made by the owner. Better than vast majority of French restaurants in Paris, don't miss it!

I took my lady here for a nice meal and it did not disappoint. I booked it from Australia and there was a smooth booking over the phone. The food was delicious and very well presented. The wine list was well rounded with a price guide to match any budget. The atmosphere was very comfortable and nice French music playing in the background. That didn't overpower our conversation. I highly recommend this little gem of a French restaurant.

My parents were visiting me this weekend and we were looking for a restaurant to have lunch at the very last minute. We did not have a reservation (which is absolutely needed there!), but we were kindly offered a table anyway. We received a very warm welcome from the Chef herself, who is a very kind and passionate woman. We were pleasantly surprised by the decoration and environment of this small restaurant, it is cosy and almost felt like home. The background music, featuring some of my favourite French singers, was a definite plus. Then came the food. My parents are used to eat in some of the best restaurants in the world so they have developed a real taste for fine food and, as proud French people, we are usually very critical of anyone trying to replicate French cuisine. Well, this Chef does not try to replicate French cuisine. She reinvented it. She adds her very own twist to traditional French meals, and she does it wonderfully. Each bite is an explosion of flavours, a pure moment of joy. We have rarely eaten anything as good as what we have experienced in this restaurant yesterday. Every single meal was perfect from start to finish and the portions were really generous. To top it all off, the prices were really more than affordable considering the quality and originality of the food and the perfect personalised service. All in all, this is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to and would love nothing more than to eat there again until I have tried everything on the menu!

Had a fabulous date night here with my husband. Food was exceptionally well done. Intimate setting and relaxed. It is a small restaurant so perfect if you want to talk to (and hear) your dinner partner. Probably not great if you are interested in people watching.

I would encourage everyone to give this restaurant a try. The restaurant is intimate with only a handful of tables. The chef explains the menu and it's clear she takes a lot of pride in her food. The service was prompt and the value for money was appropriate. We had a large party and everyone left happy. Oh and one other thing, the place is spotlessly clean which is something I appreciate!

Wonderful local find. Can honestly say I have never had a better breakfast in London, everything is made fresh daily and to perfection. Evening meal recently was also a complete delight with an ever changing specials menu along with some classic standing dishes. My only disappointment is knowing I walked by many times without stopping to discover this small gem.

I love this place, the lady is so nice and helpful and does everything on her own, bakes and makes all her own food, clears tables, cashes and washes up, she's super woman!! I really don't know how she does it. Her cakes are amazing, her pastries are to die for and I have yet to try the bread but will be soon! If it's busy you may have to wait a while but it's well worth it, the prices are reasonable and the customer service is always good. We always visit when we are in London.

Chef Dimitra's menu is sensational and her talent immense. Her food has the high drama which I love to see in French food as well as being comforting and filling. Very difficult to choose a favourite of the starters and mains which I shared with two friends, and I look forward to my next visit.

Do not let the «bookings only» scare you. Such a cosy restaurant where you really feel special. It’s a small restaurant which can seat ~10 people. Dimitra is the owner and does everything from being the chef to serving the food. We went on a Sunday evening and made a booking via OpenTable shortly before. I recommend to give Dimitra a little more than 10 minutes notice, however she still let us in and I am so glad she did. The food was delicious, wine smooth and I couldn’t have found a better place to have my birthday dinner. It’s a restaurant that works well for dates and special occasions. Or if you just want to treat yourselves! This will be my local favourite for sure!

Excellent dinning experience. My husband and I have dined twice where both food and service were excellent. This is by far our favorite restaurant in London and we will be returning with more visiting guests.

Amazing place. I had been meaning to go for ages and finally made it there before the breakfast cutoff at 11:30...glad I did. It's got great vibe, the woman who runs it is totally hardcore about her food, and the price is reasonable. A total find. Perfect.

Had an amazing breakfast here, portions are large and prices are low, while quality is good. Coffee is done well. The place might be a bit hidden to the passerby, but don’t be shy to try it! Service is high quality.

Les Douceurs de la Tentation is probably the best bakery in Maida Hill and without question a great place for a French or English breakfast. A sunny Saturday morning and I was walking across Maida Vale to meet some friends for breakfast around Maida Hill Place. I did not know the place we were going to and was surprised when I arrived - Les Douceurs de la Tentation is an excellent artisan bakery, boulanger, whatever you want to call it. And recently they began to start offering dinner as well. The coffee was okay, not outstanding, but the rest of the breakfast was great. Delicious croissants, tasty bread and jam - overall definitely a place to remember and I am sure that I will be back soon.
